I had the amazing Tracey as my server and she welcomed me with open arms! I was kinda hesitant to go because I didn't want to pay for parking in the garage, but they validate parking! I had a short rib breakfast sandwich that had mustard onions and scrambled egg with cheese and it was delish! It all sat inside of a cheddar chive biscuit! I also had a rose petal iced latte which was flavored beautifully and had light floral notes. Will definitely be back! They also have outside patio seating which is very scenic

Came for brunch on Sunday. Didn't realize from the website that this is like a cafeteria style restaurant. There's not really table service except when they bring your food to the table. But the prices are like a restaurant. French toast was really delicious and green tea was refreshing. My dad liked his eggs.

This is a great cafe to come before work and even during lunch. They have a pretty extensive selection here of various breakfast and lunch entres. I had some spare time on my hands this morning so I ordered a strawberry croissant and iced latte. The vibe was fantastic, and there were several other young professionals doing the same thing. This place doesn't seem like a bar although they say that it is. The service was great and everyone seemed so cheerful even so early in the morning. I left happy!

I have been to Junction many times but this time was for a work happy hour. The manager on shift, Tracey, was delightful! So attentive and also working behind the bar. We had a large group and everyone loved the set up being semi-private and closed off. We had the tables with food on the backside of the area and was nicely tucked away for people to move around and still go sit or stand in the space. We got the cheese/meat platter, loaded tots, mojo quesadillas, mambo chicken sliders, crab cake sliders, Ruben egg rolls, and mini cubano sandwiches. Everything was hot and freshly made when we got there! My favorite was the Mojo quesadilla. I will absolutely be coming back to get that for a lunch or dinner option. I had the Natalie's Margarita and the Orange liquor they had in it was really tasty! Overall, this is a delicious place and has so many yummy choices for every meal. Highly recommend!

Bistro, bar and bakery, what more do you need? This location is very nice and spacious on the inside. Great place to sit down with a coffee. It was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint, the customer service was great and very friendly. The menu here is very expansive with a breakfast, daily and brunch menu all on different times. They also have "all day" Happy Hour from 11am-8pm, Mon-Fri. The food all had great portions and was very tasty. I highly recommend the General Tso's Cauliflower.

We are now officially DONE with this restaurant! My favorite, the barbacoa tacos are discontinued. Instead, I ordered the Southwest Salad. Tasty, but full of rotten, slimy salad. I collected the rotten lettuce and showed the bowl and napkin to a woman at the register. I was astounded when she asked if the salad was "overdressed." I said NO, It was rotten. This woman and the prep crew should not be allowed to be within 10 feet of food. The bill was over $40 for lunch for two. DONE! DONE! DONE!

Although I only briefly stopped in - huge fan of this place so far! They have gluten free options (although no bread, which does make me sad), and the server was super friendly with customizing my drink (I wanted less syrup than normal). The ambiance is sooo cute - I feel like you could go here for multiple purposes: to eat/drink, to socialize, to work, to read, etc. I also feel like there was a lot of space! Although I'm not in the area super frequently, whenever I am, I now plan to stop in :)

We absolutely loved Junction Bistro, Bar & Bakery. We stopped here with a big group of friends on a Sunday morning for brunch, and we were immediately accommodated. One orders at the register, receives a table number, and sits anywhere in the dining area. When the food is ready, the staff will bring it to the table. We put several tables together to accommodate a group of our size. The food was delicious, the math on the bills was easy (we ordered and paid separately), and we bussed our tables when we were done. Edwin and the entire crew at Junction were great. The pastry case is a (very good disaster) waiting to happen. Everything looked so delicious and fresh. Several of us ordered pastries on top of our entrees, and naturally, we couldn't finish everything prior to departure, so we ended up taking a lot of the pastries home, which we enjoyed at a later time. I can easily see Junction becoming our "go to" brunch spot in the neighborhood. With a number of great food options, fresh pastries, delicious coffee, and nice staff, it's a no brainer.

Stopped by for brunch. They do semi-table service, where you have to order at the front counter, but they will bring the food to you. Plenty of space to sit inside or outside on the patio. I ordered the Country Sandwich ($16), which consisted of breakfast sausage, scrambled egg, cheddar cheese served on a house-made cheddar-chive biscuit. It came with home fries on the side. Overall the sandwich was really good and filling. Had a concern that it would be heavy, but was not the case here. I have to say that they over fried the home fries. Other than that, I am a fan.

Awkwardly constructed Ham and cheese croissant.

Just had coffee and pastries-- Pastries are huge (unnecessarily). Cruffin (passion fruit and mango) was great. Huge. I think it was as tall as a coffee, double the size of a muffin. The only relevance to a muffin was in shape. They strangely served it on it's bottom on top of napkins. By the time they had brought it to my table it had fallen over, the whip cream topping fallen off , and eating it was complicated as the custard/cream inside stuck to the napkins. The ham and cheese croissant was similarly clumsy---it was created in the size of a pain au chocolat and a slight croissant curve at the end. However, because they then had to unevenly fold the ham inside, it was not warmed throughout evenly. AND the ham was unpleasantly cold and chunky in spots. They should either stick to a complete square shape, or a complete long shape for the ham and cheese to be more evenly spread out. Rating is for taste and ambiance, not staff nor functionality and awkwardness of the pastries. It is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood! Looking forward to trying the lunch items.

I came here with my family on a brisk Saturday morning for brunch. You have to go to the counter to order but then they give you a number and bring the food to the table. There is a water and condiments station and you can sit wherever you choose. I enjoyed the open layout because I was able to take my kids outside while the rest of my party waited for our delicious grub. There were lots of patrons enjoying their lattes and all their orders looked amazing. We had the biscuits & gravy, chorizo burrito, and the cubano sandwich - all these dishes were flavorful and the portions were great. They also have a solid kids brunch menu - the buttered noodles and grilled cheese were totally what the kids wanted. Overall, the atmosphere was inviting and the food was well worth the visit

This was my second time visiting Junction Bistro, the first time was a couple of years ago, just when they had opened. I liked the casual vibe of the place, with a marble bar and tables, and wood accents. It vaguely reminds me of some NYC casual restsurants, or maybe the Bistro in Paris. I am not a fan of the way the service works, wgmhich is order at the cash register, sit down and wait for the food (they give you a number). As a customer, I feel that the incentive of the few and very busy servers they have to give excellent service is somewhat reduced (when paying for the food, you are asked to give a tip, which in this type of restaurant set up is sort of counter intuitive (?). What am I tipping, exactly? The food (at least what I ordered) is serviceable, but not excellent. I ordered a "chorizo" burrito (the chorizo was spicy ground chicken, lacking the characteristic garlicky-paprika taste of either Mexican or Spanish chorizo) that also was overstuffed with guacamole, black beans, pico de gallo, american cheese(I think) and wrapped in a flour tortilla. The burrito was enoumous, but it distinctly lacked seasoning (salt, spices) and the ingredients' flavors were muted. It was served with a big portion of breakfast fries (freshly fried cubed potatoes, red peppers and onions) which were served hot, crispy and well seasoned; these were delicious. While I was eating, I asked the server for a glass of water and she pointed to me to the two glass containers with water (with or without lemons) for self-service, which is fine to me, but why am I tipping again, exactly? Finally, my opinion is that Junction Bar's food and very, very light service vis à vis their prices Has Room for improvement. Maybe having more servers on the floor, and better quality control and consistency of their food are areas of improvement for their offer.

I got to our table a few minutes after my friends had already been seated and ordered drinks, which was fine. However, we then proceeded to wait at least 15 minutes before the waiter came back to get our orders. Since we seemed to be of no urgency to our waiter I decided to go to the restroom which I definitely would've thought otherwise if I hadn't had to really go. Holes in the wall, toilet paper on the floor, liquids on the toilet seat, and a bottle of soap with no soap. Not at all what I expect in an establishment serving food with their employees using the same restrooms. We finally got our order placed after having to grab another server to flag down our waiter. One of my friends and I ordered pancakes and french toast so of course syrup would be a nice addition but was not provided. And it seemed as though every waiter tried their best to not make eye contact with us so we could ask for some syrup. I was able to grab us two sticky bottles of syrup from an employee tending the bar. And our waiter seemed to be missing in action after our food was delivered. Now I will say we all thought our meals were good, which at least was a plus. The Breakfast Club adds on an 18% gratuity to all checks with 6 people or less and 20% for more than 6, which I personally believe is why the service is so lackluster. Given the poor service and lack of cleanliness, unfortunately it doesn't matter how good the food may taste I personally don't think I would suggest The Breakfast Club for a dining experience or return for another visit myself.

The diner was opened in September 1982 by Nick and Sophia Markopoulos. Nick, who immigrated from Greece, had a long history in the restaurant industry before establishing this Wheaton staple. The restaurant has remained a family affair for its entire existence. While Nick has officially retired (recently celebrating his 75th birthday at the diner), the day-to-day operations were passed down to his children, George Markopoulos and Heather Markopoulos. The menu is centered on traditional diner staples with a few unique family recipes. It is always a pleasure to order my favorite, the turkey club on toasted whole wheat with Swiss cheese and bacon, always served with a generous side of potato chips mounted on top of the sandwich. If you are looking for an authentic, old-school diner experience, I fully recommend Nick's Diner!
