We had read about this place and wanted to check it out the next time we were in the Midway area. We got a chocolate and lemon hand pie and a small shepherd pie. The hand pies were so good. The crust was delicious. The pies take 25+ minutes to heat and we had arrived close to closing so we took ours home to eat. The hand pies were $2.50 each and could be ate cold right away. The small dinner pie was $10 and fed the 2 of us really well, we felt stuffed. It had great flavor, really savory, seasoned well and the we loved the crust. This is a great option to pick up pies to have a nice fresh home cooked meal. They are only open Tuesday-Saturday otherwise we would have picked up some bigger pies on Monday to share with the relatives we were staying with for dinner. The website only allows ordering options for the hand pies. I feel the website could be better updated with pictures of all the pies they offer. We will come again. read more

Banana cream pie is okay, not worth the price. Filling was good. The crust was lacking taste and seemed undercooked, maybe some flakiness and presentation of crust would make it worth another visit. read more

I have been a long time follower of June Pie but hadn't tried their pies due to location. We were in Heber recently and happened to be there during their 3 hr block they are open so we stopped in. Super disappointed in the service the girls working weren't very friendly or helpful. Ended up buying a 'mini' since I don't have a big family, it really isn't quite enough to cut in half and have for 2 meals. There was a lot more crust than filling, ended up throwing some of the crust away. We bought the chicken curry and the pie we got didn't have the advertised rice in it. Oh my gosh! I love this place! The pies are to die for. Sorry mom but these guys beat your pies. At first the prices seemed a little high, but they are worth it. You have to try the Chicken Pot Pie...it is the best ever, rich and satisfying. Watch for new seasonal pies and try the keylime pie. read more

I Ordered 3 June Pies to pick up on Friday (as in the coming Friday 11/22) . June Pies just called me (Saturday 11/16) and told me to come get my pies in the next 30 minutes or they will throw them away and charge me $64.56! What? !?! What the hell? Did they seriously just call and say that?! WOW!! Clearly I ordered the pies for Friday not for yesterday or today - Saturday but FRIDAY. The owner, Tehmi, told me the pick up date is next to the word "Friday". Nope. It's not. I sent her a copy of HER confirmation email. She could care-less. She just continued to be passive aggressively rude, saying all the right words in the most offensive-in-your-face-tone. I haven't had someone speak to me that way since I lived in Jersey!! Felt more like a pie in the face! That was my last June Pie. What a shame. That's how you lose a customer, for life! Well done, Tehmi @June Pies. 1st off, it's kind of strange this place only has 6 reviews? I've been wanting to try one but the price has kept me away and they don't sell by the slice. So I broke down & tried the Sugar Cream that I picked up at the Store. The good = filling was tasty. The ugly besides the price = hard crust. Not flakey at all, really needed a chisel to get through it. I know people are going crazy for these but I think these are peeps that we're getting their pies from Village Inn. This is quite a step up from that but not anywhere near the quality of a homemade pie. read more

I love June Pies. I have been going there twice a week for a month now. If you love pie crust and like it a bit soft/chewy, this is the place for you. If you like a very thin and flaky crust, June Pie's crust will not be what you are looking for. I'm a huge pie crust fan and hate a hard or really thin over processed tasting crust. June Pies has that yummy homemade flavor and texture and all the fillings are great! Sweet or savory. Sour cream lemon and mixed berry are my favorite sweet flavors, and the curry or deep dish Italian are my favorite savory, although I have yet to try them all. Working on it. read more

I was meeting a business partner when he suggested this spot. Folks, no matter what you order here you'll know it's handmade and whoever made it out put a lot of love into it lol(seriously.) June Pie is now a staple in our household, and my family absolutely loves the chicken pot pie and the pork tomatillo pie. If we have worked a long day, I just pull one from the freezer, warm it up and it's a delight. I embarrassingly have 12 in there, because I always get asked to prepare meals for neighbors, so this is my go to since we work are an active family. I know an apple pie is just an apple pie, but their Apple Crumble is so dang good, fresh, the caramel is so tasty, and the apples are also tasty. We are crust people and they have mastered the perfect crust! Also, snack crack, s'mores, banana cream, and the sour cream lemon is my favorite (I have taken to a few events and people loved it as well). I get them from 'The Store' in Holladay, so I don't have to drive to Heber, so I have never tried a hand pie, but I'd imagine they are great. Definitely try out one of Utah's little gems! read more

Picked up 3 pies from June Pies on Weds 12/27/20. Was very impressed with pie BOX'S as they where the best pie box's I ever have seen. When I got home (Bountiful,Utah) I told my wife " if the pie's are anything like the quality of the Box's then we are in for a great pie". Thanksgiving came and it was time to try the PIE'S . Well BIG disappointment. Having looked at the Pie's when I got home(Weds) the crust seemed to be more light color( white) then a dark pie crust that you normally see but I didn't pay anymore attention to it. After 5 people tested the pie's we all came to the same VOTE, the pie's where NOT good, the crust was very doughy (like it wasn't cooked enough) probably why it was so light color and not brown.. The filling was ok you could tell it had spices in it. And with pie. the crust is just as important as the filling. RIGHT ??? On Friday I had to go out and got the idea to buy a COSTCO pie just for the heck of it. WELL the same people who came over for Turkey Day was home when I got home. I asked them to try a piece of Costco pie and this time everyone VOTED that the Costco pie was BETTER then the June pie !!!!!. The June Pie's cost me 20.00 per pie (and I had to drive to HEBER to get them) and the Costco pie cost me $4.00 (was ON SALE)!!! and the pie was big weighing in at 3lbs !!!!!. What really gets me beside the June Pie's being lousy is that I've tried to CALL June Pie a number of times and all I get is a recorded answer and at the end of the message it says the Mail box is full so you can't even leave a message. Sent a E-Mail to their site and still haven't received a call back.as of this posting.!!! If I have to, I'll drive back up to Heber and find out what's going on with is JUNE PIE company with their High price for a lousy PIE !!!!. Thank you for reading this book !!! read more

Do NOT go here. They have no interest in their actual customers. After reserving a pie, I drove over an hour to pick it up. Once I got there was told they sold out the day before, but yet they were still posting on Instagram to come 'stock up'. Then when I complained I get told tons of excuses and her childhood friends jump in on social media to back her up. Someone in this company needs customer service 101 ASAP. Only in it for them.
