I absolutely love their cheesecake. It's honestly the best around and the apple cheesecake is my absolute favorite. I've eaten here many times and have always had great experiences overall. However, during my most recent visit, I was a little disappointed. I felt misled about a few upcharges that weren't clearly explained when I ordered. I asked for an omelet, and when the server asked what kind of cheese I wanted, I assumed it was included but later found out it was an extra charge. I also asked to add avocado, which I expected to cost extra, but I didn't realize it would be nine dollars and actually come as guacamole with tomatoes, I did not ask for or want tomatoes and was not told they would be there. Good thing I do not have an allergy. The food was plenty and tasted good despite the tomatoes. I took half homebecuse I was full. The decor is beautiful and the service was friendly and attentive, so I didn't want to make a fuss at the time. I will definitely still come back, especially for the cheesecake, but I do hope they are a little clearer about add-on pricing in the future. read more

This review is for the bakery outside the restaurant. It's kind of pricey. Bagels with cream cheese are probably the best deal after coffee. Those are both pretty good. Red beets hmmm I didn't get why they served red beets(like who invited them). Red beets is an acquired taste. I do love,love pickles & Cole slaw! I was super disappointed the pickles fell short. I will NEVER order from this company again. For the past 3 years I sent their cakes as Christmas gifts. This year 4 out of 6 orders were completely screwed up. One was left in transit for 4 days beyond the promised delivery date and others were simply the wrong item. How embarrassing to think you're sending a holiday cake only to have the recipient get the wrong (lackluster) product too late. Great breakfast experience. We were seated promptly and our server was pleasant and explained the menu items to us to avoid any confusion. I love pancakes an ordered 2 of them. He explained that they were huge and thankfully I ordered 1 instead. It's little things like this that make the service/dining experience matter. We had the basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, ham, home fries and toast. The food was tasty and the pancake was light and fluffy and served with apple and raisin compote which was delicious. The coffee was delicious and someone kept making the rounds to make sure our cups were topped off. They give a 10% discount off the entire bill to seniors with a picture ID. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The breakfast is good and service top notch. The prices are comparable to any diner on the outside. I would like to go back and try lunch and dinner one day. We really enjoy this place. Great Coney Island atmosphere and Olga, at the bar, is awesome. Very high quality ingredients in the menu selections. The burgers obviously contain ground steak. The macaroni and cheese is amongst the best we've had in any restaurant. The egg salad sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches are top quality. While at the casino, my boyfriend and I saw a sign for $3 drafts during any sporting event. Probably the cheapest beer we would find while at the casino, so we decided to stop in. It was about 40-45 minutes before closing. We weren't getting food, so we went right to the bar. It wasn't crowded...only about three other parties who were already eating. There was only one employee working the bar. She was very unwelcoming and complained about working over 5 times. She took a very long time to take or order even though she constantly said, "Sorry, I'll be right there." She even left the bar area to take customers orders that sat down after we did. During my most recent trip to Foxwoods, I was pleasantly surprised to see this familiar eatery. My husband and I enjoyed dinner and I followed that up with something a bit daring. So I wanted to try the famous Junior's Cheesecake, but wanted to save the trip to NY. Got the strawberry cheesecake pie which feeds 6 for $24. It was going for over $8 per slice, so it made more sense for me to get the whole cheesecake. The cake itself was luscious and creamy, and topped with whole strawberries and a sort of jelly. It's less sweet than it looks which is great. There isn't a typical cookie crust like other cheesecakes elsewhere but instead, a sponge like bottom. It was really delicious! We had a gift card so we went to Fox woods, so we ordered 2 steak burgers came with fries and onion rings, my husband burger was good mine wasn't only bc it was supposed to be medium well I saw more pink than brown beef, onion rings were cold and hard and the fries weren't even brown texture. Spent the weekend with the family at Foxwoods for the first time and I noticed the Juniors Cheesecake as one of their retaurants. No one can replace the original down on Flatbush ave in Brooklyn and I should have had this attitude going in. Started off as a disaster, with an hour wait. Was told they weren't accepting reservations (which I had through Open Table) and had to be put on waiting list. Once we sat down if it wasn't for our waiter, the experience would have gotten 1-2 stars. The food is the food at Juniors and it didn't disappoint. Expecting easy going sandwiches and meals and all were prepared properly. Problem is we waitied for a while watching tables around us get their food. However, time and time again, the Cheesecake saves the day! May I suggest going to Brooklyn for the real experience, but this store is just average. read more

Place is great in NY. It is OK here at Foxwoods. The manager is an absolute hack, clueless regarding how to keep customers happy. For instance, I came in with a party of 8, and all of our food came out at the same time, but half of us had stale, dry meat. So when asking for the manager, after about 5 min, he came over. Maybe his glasses aren't thick enough to help his tired $18/hr eyes from seeing that we were not happy. But when we asked to have the bad sandwiches taken off the bill, he RELUCTANTLY agreed after a short back and forth which I did not appreciate. We stopped into Junior's the day after Christmas for a Bloody Mary and a small bite to eat. We were seated at a nice table for five and were promptly greeted by a young gentleman who gave us menus and asked us if we would like a drink. Bloody Mary's came out a bit slow because the bartender was MIA due to a change between breakfast and lunch menus. I'm not sure what that means in the alcohol department but that was what we were told. No worries though. When the drinks came out, the were very good. BE WARNED if you order a spicy Bloody Mary, they are not kidding! Wow! That thing will wake you up for sure. For food we had a couple of grilled cheeses, some fries and a Reuben. Everything came out together and was good. Not great but definitely was good and we enjoyed our table banter and were not made to feel that we should rush.
