    Sprinkletown

I expected more out of a place that has color changing rotating donuts on display. The electronic kiosks are confusing, don't really work effectively and offer toppings that aren't actually available. The donuts themselves aren't anything special... most food trucks at fairs have a better consistency and flavors for their mini donuts. However, it is one of the cheaper options in the casino if you need a quick hit of sugar.

Made to order warm mini donuts with every topping you can imagine. Donuts were hot and fresh. Loved customizing the orders.

Totally average donuts here. Customer service was helpful and friendly however. Probably wouldn't return though.

Zac Young's Sprinkletown is the newest and sweetest addition at Foxwoods Casino. Serving up hot and fresh mini donuts, fancy jumbo donuts and ice creams, sprinkled with toppings galore. These treats are super Instagram-able. The mini donuts are made to order. Choose from 3, 6, or 13 pieces, sugar it or glaze it and an overwhelmingly amount of toppings from cookie dough to bacon sprinkles. They also have fancy, jumbo donuts that is a rotating menu called the High Rollers ($6 each). While we were there they had: Choco-A-Lot, Stuffed S'more, Strawberries Wild, Coffee Toffee Coconut, Blueberry Cheesecake, Friedcaken (apple pie filling, pumpkin glaze with pecans). The soft serve ice cream had a ton of options as well, choosing from cones to cups, magic shells and sauces, and toppings. There are also signature sundaes! We ordered mini donuts that were small versions of the High Roller flavors Blueberry Cheesecake and S'mores. The donuts are a classic cake donut and were super warm. The blueberry glaze was my favorite! We also got a signature sundae call the Wake N' Break that had chocolate cover espresso beans, donut croutons, and coffee magic shell. It was topped with a generous amount of chocolate espresso beans and the donut croutons are like little churro bites. The coffee magic shell was fun too. The staff was super nice and all the options and topping were laid out in front of you to choose as most was made to order. The only items that were not made to order were the High Roller donuts that were displayed on trays, front and centered. The prices were steep, but this could be because of its location inside of a casino and the name Zac Young (if you watched many tv dessert completions, ykyk). Our ice cream sundae and donuts cost $26. Sprinkletown is a grab-n-go and the location is great as it's close by to large seating area. It's also in the proximity of Wingstop and Cedar's.

Been wanting to check this out for awhile! Had a sweet tooth & needed a fix! I always pass by this place & never realized it was Zac Young's spot. He's on food network & I find him hilarious. There was a long line but it was worth the wait! Donuts popping out of the fryer hot & fresh! They have a see through glass so you can see the little donuts popping out into a big bowl! I should have took a vid of the process (now that I think about it). I ordered 3 mini Oreo donuts & a small chocolate ice cream cup w/ fancy sprinkles(I'm basic). There was an array of toppings from captain crunch to snickers. I couldn't resist & ordered a chocolate iced donut to go. It looked so scrumptious I couldn't leave w/o one. The ice cream was mediocre(maybe I should have ordered more toppings) but when I ate it w/ the donuts it was delish! The hot gooey cream/cookies/donuts w/ the ice cream was a perfect match. Donuts 11/10 & ice cream 6/10. Btw when I ate that to go chocolate iced donut my mouth was in heaven! If you're a fan of ice cream & donuts check out this place! It's well worth it!

These are the make your own 6 minis witch has 3 cookies and cream on the left and 3 s'mores in the right.

    - Me and my party only tried the donuts but they were very good - The donuts came in many different flavors such as s'mores, peanut butter & jelly, and cookies and cream - The donuts came in full size and mini - The decorations were very nice and pretty and made a good overall vibe - We were served very fast - Sadly there is no seating - The cashiers was helpful and pretty nice but could use a nicer and more positive tone in the future when talking to customers

While visiting Foxwoods, we stopped for dessert at the newly opened Sprinkletown. They had a great selection of donuts and customizable treats! It was later on Saturday night when we visited, but I was impressed that the donuts weren't stale at all. I had a chocolately donut, and my fiancé customized a soft serve creation with s'mores mini donuts. Our only critiques are that we thought the soft serve could've been a little higher quality (the chocolate didn't really taste like chocolate), and the staff could've been a bit friendlier. Overall though, I would definitely stop by for another donut during a visit to Foxwoods - the smell alone as you walk by is enough to draw you in!

We popped by sprinkle town after an event in Foxwoods because if I see donuts, I will drop everything to invest and enjoy. We ordered a few different flavors of these very sturdy raised donuts however, the strawberry one was my favorite. They seemed pretty fresh but I do wonder if they would be even lighter first thing in the morning or whenever they are baked. Shoutout to the young ladies behind the counter who were kind and attentive! Next time I'm at the casino I'll be sure to drop by again and see what new flavors they have. Hence the term "casual fine dining", which is the most accurate way to describe the ambiance of Cedars Steaks & Oysters. Though the staff may be dressed far nicer than their patrons, the menu still mostly lives up to the casual fine dining standards one can expect. Mostly. Up front, I will say there was nothing I actively disliked. It's just that certain items could have been better. So, let's start with.. The bread basket: packed with 3 or 4 kinds of bread, wifey and I mainly enjoyed the pretzel biscuits. Warm, savory, buttery goodness is how I'd describe these. Intriguingly, they were presented with two flavors of butter: traditional and raspberry (yeah, raspberry). I couldn't tell you how the latter tasted because....it was partially frozen. Hard as a rock. I normally never bother commenting on something as benign as bread. However, the butter situation alone was far too bizarre and comical not to mention. 7 out of 10 overall. New England Clam Chowder: Since we're literally IN New England, I won't expend too many words on this one. Creamy as all get out with nice big pieces of clam, but lacked some seasoning. At least this restaurant grants us the courtesy of leaving salt and pepper on the table so...8 out of 10. Sherried Lobster bisque: Plenty of sherry flavor throughout the broth, limited actual lobster pieces (if any), but quite tasty. There was only one problem: the bisque was lukewarm on arrival. Not sure if it's always served this way or if it just sat too long at the pass. Either way, it seems like a rookie mistake. I'm sure it's normally better, but I gotta go with first impressions here. 7 out of 10. Prime rib: Okay. Full disclosure here - I'm a pretty harsh judge of prime rib due to being incredibly spoiled by this one place we used to frequent down in El Paso, TX. Let's just say the greatest prime rib we've ever tasted was seasoned generously with hot au jus on the side and the meat itself was tender like butter. Cedars got 1.5 out of 3 of those points. The prime rib was seasoned fine. The au jus was about the same temperature as the lobster bisque. Yet the meat itself....was tough to slice. It wasn't quite the texture of a tire or anything. But I would hardly be exaggerating if I said I was cutting each morsel for what felt like ages. Also, this thing is friggin' HUGE! Which meant by the time I got about two-thirds of the way in, I was pretty much full. Overall, not bad - but not really the GOAT that it should have been. 7 out of 10. Steak fries: These things! These are by FAR the best steak fries I've tasted in a long time! We're talkin' crispy golden outside with soft, steamy innards; not to mention, brilliantly seasoned throughout. 10 out 10, these are the gold standard of steak fries. I actually wanna try this place again, only I'm totally getting the Day Boat Scallops next (which are described as truffled lobster risotto, for some reason). In hindsight, I should have gone with this initial instinct. As it stands, I'm giving Cedars Steaks & Oysters 4 gigantic prime ribs with golden crisp steak fries out of 5.

Great service, fine dining experience. I had the 14 ounce ribeyeSteak and it was perfect. The table shared some oysters for appetizer and there we perfect, nice and briny. Atmosphere was cozy. Ask for a quiet table that's not in the middle of the floor. Not unreasonable prices. No strict dress code, mainly because it's in a casino and there are all kinds of visitors here. Waitress was great, very friendly and attentive. I'd definitely visit again.

I've eaten here many times and have always had great experiences overall. However, during my most recent visit, I was a little disappointed. I felt misled about a few upcharges that weren't clearly explained when I ordered. I asked for an omelet, and when the server asked what kind of cheese I wanted, I assumed it was included but later found out it was an extra charge. I also asked to add avocado, which I expected to cost extra, but I didn't realize it would be nine dollars and actually come as guacamole with tomatoes, I did not ask for or want tomatoes and was not told they would be there. Good thing I do not have an allergy. The food was plenty and tasted good despite the tomatoes. I took half homebecuse I was full. The decor is beautiful and the service was friendly and attentive, so I didn't want to make a fuss at the time. I will definitely still come back, especially for the cheesecake, but I do hope they are a little clearer about add-on pricing in the future.

The $5 cupcakes might be the next best deal, but the one I tried wasn't that good. It looked delicious but it didn't really live up to the hype.
