Tried Juniors Tacos for the first time today. It took about 15 minutes for them to make our 8 tacos, so I assumed he was cooking them during that time, but after we got in the car to take them home, my daughter says, "Thats strange. Ussually when we get tacos, you can smell them in the car!" Hmmm...I touch the box and its cold. We get to the house five minutes away, open the box, and pull out the tacos and see they are completely cold. Did they cook them while we were waiting, or just pull them from a fridge? Completely tasteless. Then I pull out the side of guacamole! I did not even try to taste it because - here is a photo of it! Disgusting! So eight cold pastor tacos and an inedible guac was $20! I go to a diff taco truck almost every weekend, and they are pretty universally good(some great!), but ill never come here again.

After being spoiled by San Francisco's Mexican food offerings, it's been tough to find some good grub for this gringo here in Columbus. Now add the fact that my wife and I are vegetarian. The phrase "vegetarian Mexican" is largely an oxymoron at most eateries, so it's nice to find a place like Junior's that at least offers a veggie option for each of their mains (burritos, tacos, tortas, and quesadillas). Their burrito was decent; average picks of vegetables inside (good onions!) with the option to add avocado, but I like getting black beans in my burrito (not possible at Junior's) and wish there were some more interesting veggies in that burrito. My wife's veggie torta was reportedly good too. Great that Junior's has us vegetarians in mind (thanks!) and I'll be back to try some of the other options in the future. Although their posted hours say they're closed Wednesdays, they were open this Wednesday -- forgot to ask if that's a permanent change tho.

This was my first visit to a taco truck in Columbus and I was exxcciiiiitted! They did not disappoint! I tried two tacos. One of the asada (steak) variety and the other of the lengua (beef tongue) variety. Not only were they awesomely cheap at $1.50 each, they were so yummy. The asada was very flavorful and the lengua, oh myyyy was so tender and fatty just the way I like it. There's something about organ meats that satisfies the taste buds so differently than plain ol meat. Maybe it's the mineraliness that I love. Lengua has a milder touch of iron versus liver. I'm definitely going to be coming back to this joint. Fer sure. Oh and a quick note: Onions and Cilantro as toppings are free, but you have to ask for it.

Was expecting greatness, but fell a bit short for me. Definitely one of the best steak tacos I've had in C-bus. Great price. But not too impressed with the carnitas, pastor, and chorizo tacos. For pastor tacos, Los gauchos lasso's mi corazon.

Tried the AL pastor and steak tacos at food truck fest. They were 3 for $7. I dunno.. I wasn't too impressed. The tacos had good flavor, especially with the hot sauce. But they still seemed kind of dry? I also didn't think it was very filling, when I could have spent $7 at another food truck. The service was quick and the tacos look great otherwise.

This place has always had great tacos, and a super convenient location by campus for me to grab some quick food before or in between classes. I had to write a review for them today because of their amazing owner/employees. They've always been really nice and accommodating. But today I didn't order enough food to make the credit minimum. I tried to decide what I wanted to get to boost the total up but I clearly didn't really want anything else besides the two tacos I ordered. The owner was super nice and offered to just let me have my order and that "you can come pay me later." I was pretty amazed that he offered, sure it's just $3, but you know it's the gesture. I ended up buying more tacos because he was so nice about it. So TL;DR: Good tacos, Amazing people.

Cheap, decent tacos and good burritos. The Quesadillas kind of fall apart a bit but are still good to eat half with a fork. The hot sauce has a great flavor, I like things hot so I've never had the mild but I assume its just as good. You can call ahead and order if you're on your way home from work which is nice and its always ready. The only thing is that sometimes they run out of guacamole and they do not offer queso.

    Steak Quesadilla. So weak. Underwhelming.

The guy has always asked if I want it to burn just today, or tomorrow too, and they'll crank up the heat accordingly. Tonight however, they convinced me to try the Surf & Turf roll and oh brother...outstanding! This one has loads of lobster AND brisket, delivering a knockout in flavor. Even at a hefty $32 for a roll and chips, I wasn't mad about it. This is a much larger roll than other lobster trucks out there and is seriously packed with meat and then loaded with toppings. These guys don't skimp on food or flavor. Plus, the dudes running the truck are funny and certainly give good advice on what to try. This one is a can't miss for me whenever I see them roll into town (which is pretty rare where I am). However...if you have little kids...maybe just send mom or dad up to order, as it can get spicy (just like the roll) sometimes.

I parked my car and walked over to the food truck, and I was lucky to literally be next in line. I ordered the recommended lobster roll from the fine gentlemen that was doing the serving. I also ordered a water because it was rather warm. I gathered my lunch walked over to a picnic table, nearby and sat down to eat. My first bite into the sandwich or roll as they label them was literally a shock to my memory, it took me back to being in Maine many years ago and getting a lobster roll at a restaurant. Now I know my memory is not what it used to be, but I can honestly say this was a freaking delicious lobster roll. I ate the entire roll, wiped my face with a napkin at the table. And went up and told the server behind the counter how good the food was and that I can't wait to literally find them close by again. I will admit, I did not eat all the potato chips, because I didn't need them, but they were also good. I just read on Facebook where they're going to be in Westchester on July 20 now I need to find out where because that's literally five minutes from my house. I truly cannot wait to order another lobster roll or two. If you've never eaten at this food truck, I highly recommend it. On the day I purchased my role. It was $29 which a lot of people might think is a lot of money literally for a sandwich, but I will tell you this it is truly worth it.

The beef burrito and with creamy jalapeño sour cream sauce was high quality! Impeccably prepared beef on a soft tortilla wrap with the black beans, Spanish rice, cheese, and the usual suspects of veggies on the inside make this a go-to. My wife had the Tandoori Chicken on rice on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Solid on its own, but the creamy white sauce really enhances all their dishes. (My burrito included a small cup of it, too.) The only thing that needed noticeable improvement was the horchata. I loved the sweetness of it, but it was too grainy. We had to get it hope to strain it and re-chill it; then it tasted great, like a melted ice cream in a good way. The burgers, appetizers, and specials all had items that were appealing, so they definitely earned a second visit.
