This place is absolutely fantastic. We stopped in for breakfast this morning, and the reviews here speak for themselves. Both my parents and I rated this place a 10/10, A+. You'd never really notice this place unless you looked on Yelp or Maps, but it is definitely worth the stop. My mom and I split the Build your Own breakfast burrito which was fantastic. All of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful- and we loved the house made hot sauce. The Bloody Mary drinks are fantastic too. My dad ordered the biscuits and gravy and an omelet which he said were amazing. This place freshly squeezes fruits for juice which was a surprising touch. Seriously- get the orange juice. Luckily a table opened up shortly after we got there around 1230, but definitely a charming brunch spot - you wouldn't really think it was in a strip mall. For entrees, we got the eggs benedict with homefries (classic) and a reuben sandwich with salad. The bennies were delightfully plump, with perfectly poached eggs, smothered in rich hollandaise on an english muffin that just held up. The hash browns are very well griddled, with excellent contrast between the top and middle layers. Some hot sauce goes a long way to cut through the richness of that meal. Reuben sandwich was massive and I really appreciate them stacking the meat. Salad was fresh enough and balanced things well. Too stuffed for dessert but will say pie sounded good. read more

It wasn't as big as the burritos I'm used to in California, but it was plenty filling and full of flavor. The cafe was really busy, but the service was fantastic. I can see why it's such a popular breakfast spot. We were told there would be about a 40-minute wait, but it ended up being closer to 20 minutes, and we passed the time walking around the grocery store nearby. Red Rock Cafe was absolutely worth the visit. The country fried steak was fantastic, hands down one of the best I've had in a long time. There may be a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it. The portions are huge, so be ready to take leftovers home. We also tried the mega cinnamon roll. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it is definitely one of their specialties and the biggest cinnamon roll I have ever seen. We'll be taking the rest home to our kids. The service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly, and Becky, our server, did a great job checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful experience. My family lives right down the street from this café, and I honestly wish we had come sooner. My family I went to this location on Saturday, May 24 a little before noon. We located this restaurant Pharma some suggestions we located online and saw that they had amazing reviews. This restaurant is located in the plaza next to a a store and a few other shops in the area. There was a wait time due to the service was busy, which was expected since it's a holiday weekend. The hostess was absolutely amazing, kind and informative . We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before we were seated in the hostess that brought us to our table explained the menu and most of the items are made homemade in house even their cinnamon rolls & more. Suggestion to make two different cinnamon rolls, one without raisins and walnuts, and keep the traditional one with raisins and walnuts. We ordered the chicken fried steak with homemade gravy which comes with a side of hashbrowns and or potatoes, eggs, pancake, the corn beef sandwich on marble rye bread with french fries fries, the breakfast burrito with the side of homemade fries, which are diced potatoes ( we were a little confused with a description of homemade fries and thought they were gonna be french fries cause that's what we were expecting so we had to place a order for a side of fries instead). The side of fries were a little overpriced. They were $6.50 for a small order and you didn't get as many fries as if you would've had them on your plate. They came in a small bowl so we received less portion which we were a little disappointed with Over all our visit was amazing from the food, the service the portion size of our entrées. The only suggestion that we will have for the side order of fries to come with the same amount as if you're receiving it on the plate versus a small bowl and their homemade cinnamon rolls are made with raisins and walnuts, and it's not an option to take the nuts out for people that's allergic. We really wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but we weren't able to do to the walnuts in them. Our waitress Rebecca P. was so kind, friendly and kept coming back to our table checking on us, which was great. Our table was # 11 The restaurant is only open from 7 AM to 2 PM so definitely come to this place if you're looking for a great place for food. A tip they do charge 3.5% fee for all credit card payments so if you would like to avoid the charge to bring cash. Recommend by locals. It gets busy here so bring your patience. We waited about 50 minutes on a Saturday but the food was well worth it. We ordered their southwest salad and corn beef hash with eggs. We were so excited to try this place as our last meal on our way out of Sedona but that was ruined quickly by employees at the RED ROCK CAFE. We had to Physically walk up face to face before even being acknowledged. Once I was greeted in a very unprofessional manner was asked "how many" informed that we had a slightly larger group (7) to which their answer was "it's going to be awhile" I then politely asked if there was a rough estimate to which I was told "awhile" in a very snarky manner the second time, we proceeded to ask if split tables would help, and was then again snarled at with yet another rude remark. Not sure if our ethnicity was a part of the unprofessional attitude towards me and our family but was a place definitely did not feel welcoming, inviting, or even safe.... On the way out other people who where clearly not of Hispanic culture walked in and were greeted with the outmost peppy hello, they couldn't even wait till we left to Make it very apparent they didn't like us based off profiling. So the first thing that I have to say is, the staff is so incredibly nice. We had lots of questions about the menu and they had all the answers! The cinnamon roll is huge and overall a fun treat. The icing could have a little bit more flavor if they mixed in some cream cheese, but the cinnamon roll was good. The skillet was good, but the star of the show was the ranchero sauce. I was expecting a red enchilada style sauce, but this was almost green. It was the most delicious, amazingly flavored sauce I've ever tried. The food was delicious. The highlight was definitely the 3 lb cinnamon roll which was more than enough to serve our table of 9. I also got the Huevos Rancheros which was a standout as well. Blue Corn Huevos Rancheros with green sauce. It is almost like eating an open face burrito or a burrito bowl without any meat and rice, just an egg and avocado. My first time trying so I didn't know what to expect but I rather have some real American breakfast in the future. All entrees came some sort of skillet potato medley that included sweet potatoes. I couldn't decide between the special (steak bowl) or the chicken fried steak (my usual vacation option!). So my buddy got one and I got the other. I was so impressed, with both! Fresh ingredients. Can't help but share a very disappointing breakfast experience. 3 if us stopped in for brunch. I had the biscuits and gravy and eggs. They advertise it as sausage gravy, yet it was almost entirely a boring white flour-filled sauce with no texture or sausage. Nasty texture. And the biscuit under it was literally cold as though it had come from the fridge. For a place that promotes itself as "the best", they may want to try harder to prove it. They also keep an older outdated menu on their site, conveniently with lower prices. Sure it days "prices subject to change" under the one on the website, but that doesnt mean its roght to purposely keep the outdated one on the site to lure customers in. We know your sneaky ways and wont be returning. Oh, and they also charge 3.5% extra uf using a credit or debit card. First off, i own a small business and fees are closer to 2.9%, so why try to profit vs cover costs? Second, debut card fees are even less! You charge abivge average proces for the area and then screw customers with extra fees. It's.wrong! I think the real reason for the fee is to ebcourage cash ao they dont have to report the transaction to the IRS, pocketing the cash and sales tax they bring in, while still writing off tho cost of that food inventory. Time to hold these owners accountable. read more

Much to my dismay, our hotel resort in Sedona stops serving breakfast at 11:00 am! I'm sorry, but when I'm on vacation I want to sleep in and enjoy a nice brunch with champagne roughly between the hours of 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. I was able to quickly come up with a Plan B that served breakfast until 2:00 pm and was most highly rated. Red Rock Cafe is an outstanding restaurant that exceeded our expectations. When we arrived the wait for a table was nearly an hour but we stuck it out. I'm sure everything in town was busy during this holiday week. What I appreciated was their use of the wait website or whatever it's called. You can track your time and place in line in real time as you go. I had fun with that. Service from everyone we encountered could not have been nicer and more genuine. Especially our server Becky who was a dear. I ordered the corned beef hash which was house-made. It was nicely caramelized and super tasty. I bet they have a special hash pan in the kitchen. One of my sunny side egg yolks did pop before it got to the table which presented some unfortunate weepage. It all tasted great nonetheless. Especially the hash browns which were crispy, not overly greasy and such an abundant portion. It was almost hanging over the plate in fact. The "big" sourdough toast on the side was excellent. My son had a southwest style country fried steak with an essence of chipotle and other things. It was such a combustion of flavor. His English muffin looked perfectly toasted. My wife had a nice order of Eggs Benedict that looked great. Again with a bright southwest flair. She also ordered a Bailey's Coffee drink that was expertly balanced. It had a generous amount of Bailey's that helped warm from the inside out. As a side note, Red Rock Cafe features their signature cinnamon roll, roughly the size of a small baby. I saw one at a neighboring table and it was eye-watering! Overall a happy accident that led us here and I'm so glad it did.
