My friend and I visited here on our vacay, Gorgeous view that's it! Our waitress was grumpy not friendly at all, we ordered the sirloin steak medium with potatoes and green beans. Waited about 40 minutes for our food and the steak we got was well well done, cut and tasted like shoe leather, very tough, no seasonings! We sent it back and the waitress seemed mad at us, took another 20 or 25 minutes to get the new steak it was cooked medium but again no seasoning and still tough. The potatoes were awful tasted like boxed and the green beans were tasteless! I wouldn't recommend coming here and we won't be returning ever! read more

This is the new location after the original restaurant was destroyed by hurricane Ian. They are located right behind Publix, right on the water. The food is still great including the pizza! We normally have the pizza but sometimes just stop by for a drink. They have both outdoor seating and a long covered bar. read more

Grouper bites were awesome Caesar salad awesome clam soup awesome. But where the happy hour special. They don't tell you but they are definitely smaller portions. My $10 Caesar salad was basically the size of a small side salad. Then it had barely any salad dressing so they charged me a dollar for extra. Then I had to order another happy hour special just to actually have enough to eat. Not cool. They have an elevator but I guess it's not working so they do not have a handicapped accessible bathroom. My first visit and delighted with the casual fun beach vibe! We were seated outside right along the edge so had a beautiful view of the gulf with a swaying palm tree as shad along with an umbrella! I actually like this place for a beach dive spot. The service is good and the food selection is great if you have people with you who want something other than seafood. I always get seafood and they serve it up casual style. It's been here for as long as i can remember so I've had lots of different items all were good. My little guy got the pizza and loved it. I rarely get sugar cocktails but they do good pinacoladas for that beach feel. Ignore the bad reviews if you want a flip flop feel right on the beach with a great sunset spot. read more

This restaurant is just ok but has a good variety of options. There is no outdoor seating in the shade which is odd since it's so hot in Florida and shade while you eat is needed. It's really nice there are outdoor games to play and free parking. As others mentioned the building isn't in the best condition and is a little run down and could use a fresh coat of paint. For lunch I ordered the chicken fingers and garlic knots. The chicken fingers were average but the garlic knots were buttery and yummy. I would recommend! For my drink I got a mojito which was really good and the mint was fresh and tasty. Service was pretty average, it seemed to be between shifts possibly when we went for a late lunch. The restaurant is in a great location; we would come back if in the area but maybe for more of a happy hour instead of lunch. read more

Fir on the beach dining... this rates a 5star for casual dining. Their pizzas are huge and very tasty. (Had the Hawaiian). Bartenders very attentive. Big list of offerings on the menu. Inside and outside dining. Go early... very popular. read more

Pretty neat spot! Family friendly as well. We were very impressed with the first impressions walking in and the customer service overall. Amazing view of ocean from our seats & can see dolphins swimming here/there. Very nice. Food was mediocre but comes out quick to me. Had a Junkanoo burger but didn't taste seasoned. Mozzarella sticks were okay, didn't seem house made. Wait wasn't bad on a Thursday afternoon. Sat out by the water which was nice. I very much enjoyed the live music guy setting his own tempos and background sounds to then play over top of. Food took quite awhile and was nothing to write home over. Just your typical bar atmosphere. Wouldn't bring the family here for a meal but was fine enough for two young adults. If you're looking for a boozey spot this is probably up your alley. read more

New to the area and we wanted to find a super casual spot to sit along the sand and have a drink and a low key dinner - Yelp to the rescue. The location can't be beat with this no frills restaurant! Huge bar and a decent sized dining room inside (with open windows) and maybe 12 or so tables outside along the sand, facing the ocean. This place hit the mark with our expectations so no complaints here. We enjoyed a couple of drinks - margarita for me and a beer for him. We were starving so we started with an app of the Grouper bites. The presentation was ugly, but the fish was fresh and tasted good. Our entrees included a fried grouper sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries and white fish tacos (3 tacos) with a side of potato salad. I thought the fish was pretty good - not the most flavorful batter, but both were a good solid meal that we enjoyed. The portion size on both of these was on the larger side - so if you don't have a huge appetite, consider sharing with your friends. Don't got to this place unless you wan to have a great meal and then hang out on the beach. I have been here several times for sunset dinner, and lunch and finally decided to write a review My husband and I drove up to this place because we wanted lunch. We sat on the back porch which has a lovely view of the beach, a nice breeze and nice BIG UMBRELLAS. We both ordered the Big Bang Steak sandwiches (not exactly the name but close). These sandwiches were GIGANTIC and next time we will share. The sandwich was tasty, the sweet potato fries are delicious.. Service was awesome. Very important was their concern for our health was top notch. They spray down the table AND CHAIRS, and Salt and Pepper shakers between each customer. The staff was all wearing masks and gloves (even though gloves are NOT necessary) No question we will return again. Maybe I'd give Junkanoo another chance. We ordered a pizza here since they made pretty decent pizza a few years ago. When it arrived to our table it was piping hot. We starting putting it on our plates to discover the pizza seemed like it wasn't even cooked. Turned out to be just like you were eating a mound of cheese with some toppings. Maybe it needed to set? First place we had dinner at on the island. The view is gorgeous and palm trees full of coconuts right outside the open dining area. Frozen drinks are delicious and full of the feel good stuff. We ordered pizza and garlic knots because we're not crazy about sea food. Both were delicious. The garlic knots are ah-mazing! Whatever you get-don't bypass these phenomenal buttery knots. The service is great and the owner was wonderful with our 10 year old. He was playing the quarter drop game and the quarters kept dropping more after he would walk away and the owner (or maybe GM? I'm not 100% certain) would excitedly come over to the table to tell our son more had dropped. Although we didn't partake in the seafood we did see and smell what was coming to the other tables. Presentation was nice looking and the place was packed so for sure take a chance with this place. The menu was the most diverse I'd seen on the island so they have something for everyone. We found this place while walking our dog on the beach. We wanted to eat there if we liked the menu AND if they were pet friendly. I asked and was told that they were not pet friendly as far as table service inside or on their deck but that we could eat at the picnic benches with our dog there but would have to place a carry out order. Sooooo happy they opened here! As full time locals who live only 6 blocks away, we had been to bayfront bistro several times and were not impressed but now that junkanoo took over, so happy!! We had a great time, had the patty melt, the shrimp appetizer, the cauliflower bites - all amazing! The service is top notch compared to Bistro and we LOVEEEEE Jess!! Unfortunately, we did not have a good first experience. The food was barely average, at best. We ordered an appetizer, which was never brought out and never even acknowledged by our waitress as missing. The salads were good. The Blackened Shrimp Tacos were very basic. The guacamole was not homemade. The Fish Hook Fried Seafood Platter was nothing special. We hate giving poor reviews, but this was just disappointing for our last night. Additionally, we sat outside and several people at the bar were smoking while we were eating. They had ash trays, so it must be allowed at the establishment. I was under the impression that if food was served, smoking was not allowed at the bar. It was very displeasing while eating. read more

Ordered a variety of pizzas to go while vacationing on ft Myers Beach. One of the best pizzas I've had and definitely the best on the island compared to others I've tried. Loaded with fresh toppings, crispy crust and still hot after picking up and taking back to hotel. Already looking forward to ordering again on our beach trip next summer read more

If I could give this place less than one star, I would! NOT for food quality, NOT for bad service due to COVID.... but for an obnoxiously rude bartender at the beach level bar. When a business is travel and tourism related, you don't yell that you HATE the tourists! When I'm sitting at a beach bar for less than half an hour tops and I hear three comments from an employee about how much they can't stand the "tourists," you leave...and you don't come back... and you review on Yelp.... plain and simple.
