The food was OK for what I expect for takeout. We stop here if our favorite take-out Chinese place is closed. Could be more consistent. Some veggies like broccoli is sometimes almost raw but seems fresh. Amount of meat in their dishes varies. They have a large easy-to-use touch screen ordering system with prompts if you want to customize your order. That part is almost fun. Curious that one can't see any part of the kitchen. This place has become one of our new "go to"s for Chinese food. It's nothing exotic, just very well prepared food with high quality ingredients. Portions are huge. After you order you get a message that says your order has been placed, if you want to order again click this link. OK when will it be ready ? I am only down the street so I waited 10 min and went to go and pick it up. As I pulled into the parking lot I got a text that its ready. I ordered quite a bit of food from jupiter china today and was pretty dissatisfied. I ordered pepper steak, and the consistency was very odd and the sauce was almost non existent. The miso soup was also not what I expected, the seaweed seemed to be more like actual seaweed than most traditional miso soup. It was like having mouthfuls of tofu and grass clippings. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll with crunch. Which is typically my go to when it comes to sushi. The tuna seemed a little grainy and the crunch was soft like wet breadcrumbs. My daughter ordered the sweet and sour chicken and was dissatisfied as well. It tasted fine to me, my only complaint was the breading seemed soft, instead of crunchy. I got take out four lunch and got the hunan beef with spring roll. I was a bit disappointed because i kept seeing raving reviews of 4 and 5 stars. The meal was ok, but nothing spectacular. And the quality of beef was not the best, it had a lot of fatty parts. I can name other restaurants that do better Chinese food. And the owner just replied to my review asking where the fatty part was on the beef. The picture looks great, trust me the fat was there in some places you just can't see them from the picture. I visited here to place an order for pickup. It took me awhile to place an order because the gentleman had a hard time communicating with me before leaving to deliver an order. After standing for a couple minutes by myself, a kind lady came over to take my order. The rest of the ordering experience went well, with her taking the order and then even walking out to my car to deliver it to me after paying! The dining experience was decent. I ordered a Hunan Chicken, and the chicken little flavor and had the texture was not to my liking. However, the Salmon Sashimi that we ordered was delicious. This used to be my go-to place for Chinese delivery. The food has always been good as long as you don't order anything with breading, as it does not travel well. Tonight, I looked forward to ordering from here and having it delivered for free as usual. After adding one entree to the cart, the bill shot up to $26. They appear to have changed from free in-house delivery to DoorDash, which comes with high delivery fees and surcharges. They also no longer deliver soups, which are very good from here. Not sure if this has to do with the change to DoorDash. Finally, there seems to be higher menu prices, possibly to cover the percentage paid for 3rd party delivery. I hope to order again sometime, but not unless I can do so without it costing the same as dinner out at PF Chang's. read more

Do NOT recommend! My orange chicken was PINK. LITERALLY PINK. I had to take it back to the store after already getting home late night and get a refund and thank god I noticed before I ate more of it. They also ignore their phone calls so when I called they would not answer. I'm from out of town and I stumbled on a gem! Jupiter Chine did not disappoint. Ordered orange chicken that was an extremely large helping and was one of the best orange chickens that I've had! Not too "orangy" and spicy enough to make this a wonderful dish. I'm from California which has numerous Chinese food establishments- this one compares if not out does those. I'm really picky about Chinese food, and DFW has a million Chinese restaurants with the same sub-par dishes drenched in syrupy sauces that all taste exactly the same. But...Jupiter China STANDS OUT, ya'll. Their food is delicious, and dare I say, the best Chinese I've ever had in DFW. It's just ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY good. I've ordered in person, over the phone, via Door Dash or Uber Eats, and they always get my order right, it's ready super fast, and they are SO FRIENDLY and will bring it out to my car if I ask. Ordered online through their website and the food was ready within 15 min. Wife ordered the general tsos chicken and i had the orange chicken. The only complaint was that the general tsos chicken needed a little more spice, but heres the thing, you can add addtl items to your order a la cart and red pepper is one of those items so I honestly cant complain there when the flavors were already good.
