They opened up another Jus grill at 6th ave and 225 in aurora, decided to try it just because we liked the other one so well. Best Service we have ever had. Again we were able to enjoy our meal without much bother, but I do have to admit that we closed it down and were the last ones to leave. Our waitress was the best and kept us laughing,The food once again couldn't be beat. Hubby had ribs I had chicken. You all just need to try it and I'm sure you'll love it as much as us. This is for the new "restaurant" on the corner of 6th and 225. Wow what can I say. I should have known better then to order fish from a restaurant that sells its self as a home cooking place. The fish was freezer burnt the broccoli was cold and the rice seemed as though it came out of a box. The chicken breast was more of a filet and was not sure if it was the chicken or a piece of fish. I only ate a few bites when I decided to complain to the manager that was about 20 something that said he knew nothing about the fish he was serving. The only thing the manager did was to give me a %10 discount on the two meals. All we ate was the generic salad that seemed as though it came from a bag and the typical dinner roll. in short the food was bad, the waitress was very nice and apologized. Its right down the street, I so want it to be delicious...We have been twice and so far its OK. They have the opportunity to make it fantastic! So far its just a cheap place to eat. It feels like their are few places that owners want to be fantastic....and we are so looking for a fantastic independent place in the neighborhood. My boyfriend and I ate here under his recommendation and I found everything excellent just as he spoke of after many visits!!! I had Chicken Fried Steak and found it to be very tender!!! He had the Fajitas; Steak and Chicken and they were delicious!!! The price was great considering the great food and service we received!!! We had a very nice and friendly waitress!!! I live in a northern suburb of Denver and would drive there any time for a good respectable meal!!! I also highly recommend this restaurant!!! read more

Yelp wouldn't let me pick no stars at all. I had a hair on my steak and the waitress acted as though it was a garnish. I was so hungry that I was willing to remove the hair and eat my steak. Gross I know but I was starving. I then cut into the steak to see two more hairs jump onto my fork.my girlfriend was disgusted and I lost my appetite. I understand these things happen but I know it wasnt handled correctly. We had to leave without taking a bite of our entrees. Proceed with caution. read more

Jus' Grill has expanded due to the neighborhood's demand for great food at good prices. We often eat there and have many favorite dishes. We take guests there whenever we get a chance because of the large variety on the menu, and we have NEVER had a bad meal there! Very good food, very good service, very good value for the prices. I don't know where you people who have made these good reviews have been eating, but this place is terrible. If I wanted hospital food I would have checked myself in there. I would not recommend it to anyone. I could have gone to the store and bought the frozen food they use if I would have known that. I will never ever order from there again. read more

Ehh... ok at best. I had the breakfast burrito which was really good but others at the table were not so lucky. Burnt bacon, brown eggs, super weak coffee and water in the syrup (they keep it warm in a water bath but it gets into the syrup). Service was ok but nothing spectacular. Best Neighborhood eatery I have been to. The new Walgreens help close our usual "Coffee Spot". However, I was excited to see a new local eatery open in my neighborhood. I take friends and family there often because they have a great selection, great prices and the food has always been good no matter what I get. The food was cold and tasted strange. They finally brought us our salads after our meal was half gone then refused to remove them from the bill when we said it was a little to late for a salad. Manager of this place is rudest ever, had an average dinner with party of six, one of us went to counter with gift certificate to pay, after paying he had the nerve to approach our table and tell her to never do that again, he claims he accepted a certificate from another location, "she intentionally put her hand over the address on the certificate", tried to be intimidating. I went to the counter to speak with him, telling him that was very inappropriate and unacceptable behavior as a manager, embarrassing as customers, he continued his response that she did it intentionally, we the address on other certificates and they have this address on them! We even offered to have him return the certificate and we would pay by cash, the ASS refused! we will never return and use the other certificates! read more

I had purchased a gift certificate through restaurants.com. I had never been to Jus' Grill and I figured this would give me the opportunity to try something new. Be Careful when purchasing this, you have to spend 15$ or more no exceptions and it they are not accepted for to-go orders which it does not say anywhere on the certificate. After only waiting about 15 minutes I thought for how busy they were that there kitchen was very good, but I hadn't yet tasted my food. When paying for my order the lady helping me said nothing at all and handed me a piece of paper with a bunch of handwriting on it with a total circled at the bottom of $14.80. Again saying nothing at all just stared at me after handing her the certificate. Then she said something that I am pretty sure was not English, so I have no idea what it was because I speak the common language used in America, English. Due to me not understanding her she went and got someone that did speak English. This new employee told me that I was 20 cents short for being able to use this certificate. I thought for a second this sounds like I purchased a coupon not a certificate. Not wanting to make a big deal out of this I purchased a cookie cheapest item to get my bill more then 15$, don't forget this is breakfast 9:00 in the morning. The new employee took my bill back and rang everything up including the cookie and my total was printed now at 15 and some change. Again she said nothing like "thanks for coming in or have a good morning". I handed her 8 dollars and she turned around and said nothing else to me. I gave it a second and then picked up my back and walked out saying "Thank you, have a good morning" upon receiving no comment back not even a smile. When I got home I opened up the boxes to see that everything was there and the food was okay, not good, not great, just okay. So did they win me over, will I be back, I DON'T THINK SO. Good restaurants need 4 things for me to be satisfied. These are out of 5, 5 being the best 0 being the worst. Customer Service- 0 Cleanliness of restaurant- 2 Quality of food- 2 Competitive pricing- 4 IF I WERE YOU I WOULD SAVE THE 15 MINUTE WAIT AND GO RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET TO TACO BELL. FASTER SERVICE, LESS EXPENSIVE, BUT WORSE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS OF RESTAURANT. IF MY RESTAURANT IS COMPARED TO TACO BELL AND LOSSES I KNOW I SHOULD CHANGE SOME THINGS. read more

We found a clump of hair in my son's food. After sending it back there was no response from the owner,manager or waitress. No replacement food, apology, or decrease in the bill was offered. My son had only eaten half. When I went to pay I mentioned it to the owner so that he knew and he YELLED at me because I had offered a large party an unused coupon. He refused to do anything for us because we "stole" from him by giving them a valid coupon. We ended up paying full price for everything. read more

This restaurant is close to home and usually busy. My wife wanted to try it for her birthday lunch. She had a patty melt which she said was "ok." I had the Jus Grill Burger and as soon as it was brought out I thought, yuck, what smells. I soon found out. It tasted very old, like been in the freezer for 3 years old. Our waiter was buzzing around like a gnat and really hard to understand. The check was out before we'd really had much of a chance to eat. When I took the check up I was asked how everything was so I pretty much told her what I've just told you. They were sympathetic, sorry but my burger still cost me $9. When we both sent our plates away with most of the food still on them, that should have been another important clue. read more

We've been regulars at Jus Grill since it opened. Today, hugely disappointed that the restaurant has followed through on its threat to install new tabletops filled with garish advertising. Life is hectic enough - don't need advertising screaming at me while I'm trying to relax. And who is making a profit off of this bad idea? Certainly not the customers. read more

Let me start with what I thought was par. The waitress did a good job taking and delivering our orders, she receives the only star I have awarded this restaurant. Also the chicken decor was a little cheesy but cute. I have been to Jus Grill three times and each time I have been disappointed however in the quality of the food. Today I ordered the Ruben sandwich with fries. The thinly sliced "corned beef" which should be salty and tender was flavorless and chewy. Although it was advertised that it had thousand island dressing, it was absent. The sauerkraut, while it tasted fine, there was barely more than a tablespoon full on the whole sandwich. The "Swiss cheese" had less cheese in it than the chickens statues on the walls. It was more like cheese whiz without the yellow food coloring. The french fries were limp right out of the kitchen. Hardly worth the money I paid for it. In addition my cousin has a food allergy to paprika along with a few other items which she provided to the kitchen ensure she was not served any of those items. She ordered the grilled salmon with rice pilaf, as long as the pilaf did not have anything on her list of allergens. Instead of rice pilaf she was brought french fries with, wait for it ...Paprika! Had she eaten it, it surely would've been a quick ride to the emergency room. The dish was return to the kitchen and within 10 to 15 minutes her original plate, that probably had paprika residue, was returned to her. The salmon was dry and tasted like it had been through microwave oven and the broccoli was cold. The waitress was gracious enough not to charge her for her meal. The gentleman at the register whom I understand is a co-owner of the restaurant, asked how was our meal. I let him know that I was disappointed in the Reuben sandwich and he actually argued with me! No apology whatsoever, and I doubt he will be changing the recipe. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I first went to Jus' Grill about 2 weeks ago and thought it was pretty good, service was nice and the prices were fair. Well this week I thought I would take my family there after my daughters graduation because it was convenient and I knew there wouldn't be a crowd. On this day, 20 May 2013 the service was slow, not sure if they were ready for a crowd of 15. Once they got our orders, our food came out pretty quick and everyone seemed pleased. The next day members of my family started getting sick and not able to keep any food so I went to the restaurant to tell the manager as a courtesy; guess what, he got super defensive and said that his restaurant was clean and I could call the health department. Well someone wasn't clean at his restaurant and I am calling the health department. If he would have been somewhat sympathetic I might have given them another but after how he handled this situation I will never eat there again and I would advise anyone reading this to do the same. read more

Jus Grill used to be my favorite breakfast spot. My family has been long time patrons since their opening. They USED to have great service; you know the kind where they actually cared that their customers came back and recommended them.Their service has been on a steady decline for the last several months, but I knew they would bounce back. Sad to say though, the last time I was there (a few weeks ago) was the last straw. I recently had surgery and as a result could not eat an adult portion; so I ordered the child portion. I was denied by the manager in such a rude way! He didn't care that my family of 5 came in every weekend, sometimes twice a week to support the restaurant. He didn't care about my circumstance at all! I was so shocked that ended up not ordering a thing and let them know I would never be back again! Needless to say the manager shrugged it off and didn't bat an eye, It's bad enough they have become ridiculous about not exchanging items out for others on their meals, and the fact they are incredible sticklers with their coupons; but when you add bad service and total disregard for your LONG TERM customers, it doesn't matter how good the food is, you will fail in an epic way! Please fellow hard-workers and deserving-of-good-service- patrons, spend your money elsewhere. Somewhere where they appreciate their customers AND serve great food! read more
