This was the worst!! And normally Jus grill is my goto. Ordered a steak burrito and biscuits and gravy. Got a refried bean burrito with nothing but refried beans in it.. the gravy had like 3 little pieces of pork chop in it. I will never order from them again. So disappointing!!! read more

Been here a few times and it's a pretty solid place. It's your typical diner food so you'll know what to expect. It gets very busy here on weekends so go someplace else if your impatient or expect 5 start service, it is a diner after all I usually go with the Huevos Ranchero or an Omelette. Eggs are always fresh and cooked properly. Their green chili is good with just a little spice. Well if this isn't just the cutest little discovery! We had passed by here many times going to other places in the shopping center, but never thought to try this place out. When we had food from here delivered to us, we loved it! Naturally we had to try it out in person. We've been a few times now and have gotten breakfast every time. My faves: -Pancakes. Ordered a Denver omelette. It comes with toast and hash-browns. The meal came out in about 3/4 minutes. The hash brown potatoes came out oily and barely cooked. I immediately sent them back. In about 2 minutes they came back and were deep fried. I asked for a manager and explained to never sacrifice quality for speed. I would gladly wait for a quality meal versus a quick turnaround. After another 5/6 minutes I received quality hash-browns. No one even the manager offered an apology or concessions to my bill. The server was great. Many opportunities of sampling their entries with consistent coupons being mailed to the house.. finally for some odd reason, had chance to stop by for breakfast on recent Saturday morning. When we got there around 11 AM., the place was packed. Its kinda small place inside the strip mall, about 3000 square feet. Nothing special to write home about.. and I forgot to bring the coupons.. darn it. We were seated promptly, the waitress came over quickly and brought the water and took the drink order. I must say, they had great selection of breakfast entries and also lunch and such. Each of our order had big serving of breakfast potatoes (scalloped kind) and the usual sides of bacon, eggs and such.. I had waffle combo and the price was reasonable and tasted good. Just like the sign, they serve home style cooked meal. The food reminded me of Dimitri's on Havana before they sold it to someone else.. the menu reminded and price reminded me of Le Peep in the olden days. I will definitely do the repeat business. Whew! What can I say about this place that hasn't been said! I heard about this restaurant from two different people on two separate occasions. So we decided to give them a try. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. What makes it stand out for me is that they have BOTH great food and great service. What made the food great was that it tasted good and the portion size was large enough that we our money's worth. What makes the service great was that the staff was attentive to every table so there was not a long wait time between asking for something and the staff brought it to us. I arrived to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready. I asked for how long it would be and the owner said a few minutes, I sat down waited 10 plus, no big deal. I waited patiently & I don't know what the mental issue is with the owner of this facility, but I'll have you know this man screamed at me in-front of consumers for kindly asking again after my wait how much longer my to go order was going to be. The menu is huge. So huge I did not think a kitchen could execute this many dishes so well. I'm pleased to say that I was mistaken. They do breakfast extremely well. When I first walked in I noticed the place was crowded, but they turn out meals fast, so there wasn't much of a wait. I ordered the poor boy skillet. It was out in less than 10 min and was very good. The chicken was not even slightly dry, the broccoli was roasted well, and the eggs were perfect. I will be back often for breakfast. This is a locally run business in a strip mall. The tables have local business cards built into them, for that neighborhood, down home feel. It's not a big place, but they packed in a full bar. On October 19, 2019 my brother, his girlfriend and I decided to stop in for a quick bite. My brother ordered a veggie omelet with hash browns and wheat toast, his girlfriend ordered Belgium waffles and I had plain old oatmeal with cinnamon and some wheat toast. Simple enough right? Wrong. The first incident was when the runner brought out the syrup for the waffles she almost dripped it on me. Secondly, when returning to the table with the cinnamon, the waitress reaches over my brothers food to hand it to me instead of walking a few steps around him to hand it to me. This upset him but not enough to say anything. Halfway through his so called "veggie" omelet he came a cross a piece of ham. He immediately called the manager to inform him. The manager apologized and removed it from the bill. 5 minutes later as I was about to take another spoonful of my oatmeal, I noticed an eggshell in it. This was really upsetting because to my knowledge eggs nor their shells belong in or around oatmeal. I quickly called the waitress over and advised of the situation. She looked as if she didn't believe me until she saw the eggshell herself. In the end, the omelet and oatmeal were removed from the bill by our request and very little empathy about the situation from the manager. True enough I wasn't expecting world class service but basic etiquette would have been nice. Overall they are careless when it comes to service. They seemed to be rushing to get the orders out instead of taking in pride in your work and preparing it correctly. I hope in the future the managers and staff will learn basic table manners and to be careful when preparing each dish. read more

The service is always amazing and kind. They have lovely waitresses and staff. It has an ambience akin to a family dinner. You can tell the business is run by great people. I would have pushed a 4 star for the food which is usually fine for small diner standards. But, I'm very offended right now. I eat out 4-5 times per week. You know the classic question: "How was everything?" ... well, when I answered with a minor negative observation about 1 thing, I got hit with a 5 minute lecture. The waitresses and the elder gentleman (Hispanic owner/mngr) are typically fine, friendly and hospitable. But this other fellow (white older man) took it upon himself to set me straight and lecture me about everything from pricing standards to the restaurant industry in the area. I won't throw out the original criticism - it's not important and was just an opinion. All the more reason I don't need to be put in my place with a 5 minute lecture and his attempt to show me just how wrong I am. It's now got me looking elsewhere for a repetitive "home" to find evening meals. Shame on them for ruining a long-standing history of my patronage. read more

If you get what you actually ordered you are lucky and if you don't and you call about it the person who claims to be the manager interrupts you constantly and doesn't want to hear what you have to say. Ordered country fried chicken but got chicken fried steak which is disgusting mystery meat and completely inedible. She claimed she couldn't give me my money back but I could drive all the way over there. Why on earth would I waste my time doing that? The first time I tried explaining what was wrong where she kept interrupting me she hung up on me because she didn't want to hear about their mistake.
