No signature sauces, no quirky creations--just vibes and buns. I stepped up to order and was immediately thrown into a conversation about my shirt. (Fashion critique wasn't on the menu, but sure.) I asked about the burger size, and was told--deadpan--they're "flat." Well, that clears that up. Eventually, I was informed that a double is "about the size of a quarter pounder." Cool, I guess? I ordered a burger with mayo and chili, to which the guy replied, "That's odd, but okay." Look, either make it the way I like it or lock the doors, buddy--because this wasn't shaping up to be a five-star first impression. When my food was handed over in a paper bag with zero inquiry about dine-in or takeout, we just sat down at a dirty table and unwrapped our meal. What awaited me was the burger equivalent of déjà vu--basically a McDonald's cheeseburger in witness protection. To be fair, the food was fresh and hot. But the flavor? Aggressively average. We saw pictures of some of the burgers in Facebook and they looked awesome. Found this particular place just down the road from our hotel. When we walked in we were not impressed as it looked like a dump because the floor had small bits of garbage/paper/dirt. We walked in around 4:30 pm and there was nobody there. Help was receptive at the counter but could have used the down time to vacuum. We looked at the menu board and thought maybe we were in the wrong place. I was about ready to walk out. My husband asked them about some of the burgers posted in Facebook and we were told That those were specials of the day but they could make them for us. They listed off about 5 specials. Not sure if they did this as a favor to us or if anyone can walk in and ask for those specials that are not listed on the board. The particular special of the day for that day we were there was a soy burger. I'm the one who was hungry for a burger and with a name like Just Hamburgers how could you not go here. We asked about sides and were told the onion rings were good. We put in our order and sat down and about 10 minutes later our food was ready. Everything was packed up to go but we were eating there so we unpacked our burgers and onion rings. The onion rings were thick and delicious. They came with a dipping sauce. I don't remember the names of the burgers we got but they each had their own special sauce. My husband opened his burger and wasn't happy with how messy it was as all the sauce had run out and was all over the wrapper and bun. He went back twice to get napkins. He said his burger was good, he just wished it wasn't so messy. He had a double burger with bacon and Swiss cheese and a special sauce. I happened to love the mess and really enjoyed my burger. I had a double burger with jalapeños and bacon and special sauce. Half of the jalapeños fell out while I was eating it and that was ok. If I had a malt to eat with the burger I may have piled them back on. I thought my burger was very tasty. If I lived around here I would definitely stop on to try more of the different burger specials or just a plain hamburger. I would give this a 4 star but combining my review with my husbands and the less than cleanliness look walking through the door brings the rating to a 3 star. read more

I think our original plan was to eat in but my daughter in law saw the line coming back from Tennessee to our house in Paducah. So they picked up two single burgers one double burger chilli fries and three onion rings. My daughter in law said the grill was really backed up and workers were moving slow. Surprised our food was hot. The burgers were tasty. The rings were way over fried. But we still liked them because it was a solid piece of onion not the chopped stuff. I guess the total price was ok . Not cheap but not unreasonable either. I'd give them another try once they hire some more workers. But eat in for a better experience read more

Would have taken a picture, but the food was gone before we throughly about it. The Colby jack o lantern burger is worth it. The chicken tenders are huge and taste hand breaded. Hands down the best burger I've ever had. This is the standard all other burgers have to be judged against. I usually get the single and my hubby gets whatever creative special they have ( think maple bacon with a glazed donut as a bun) their burgers are perfectly seasoned thin, smashed style patties with thick cut tomatoes, onions and plenty of whatever else you could want. Hamburgers that melt in your mouth and are everything you are looking for without over stuffing you. Have option of crinkle fries or waffle fries, both delicious. Quick service & great prices for amount of food you get. I wish they had more options of toppings for the burger. There also is fresh salads and chicken options but menu is not overwhelming. I travel between St Louis and Nashville several times per year and try to time my stops in Paducah to coincide with mealtime. There are two burger joints next door to each other and one is vastly superior to the other, the great one is currently closed due to a ceiling collapse. When I see the name Just Hamburgers, I go in expecting just that and for them to be amazing since that is what their specialty should be. However, you can get hot dogs, salads, chicken tenders and other sandwiches...so you aren't Just Hamburgers. The burger is tiny and super thin, the fact that the shredded lettuce stacks taller than the burger is pretty terrible. The burger itself is okay, nothing special. The fries are frozen crinkle cut and if mushy and under seasoned is what you crave then those are just up your alley. I love supporting local businesses but hate when they shoot for mediocrity. Just wait for the burger joint next door (I've rated them 5-stars) to Just Burgers to finish their repairs, try theirs and then make the call. read more

We had bacon cheese burgers, onion rings and waffle fries. The cheeseburgers were delicious, thin burger and loaded with the good stuff. The buns were toasted. The waffle fries were thick and delicious. The onion rings had the whole onion in them and crunchy. They were served with a spicy dipping sauce that hit the spot. We didn't try the shakes but they were rolling out the drive thru window as quick as they could make them. We ate too fast for pictures. read more
