Hate to rate so low since the guy at the counter has always been really nice and talkative, but the last time I used them the price increasted about 40% from when I got off the phone with them to when I picked up my Jeep. When I asked to see the part they said they had to replace, he told me it had been traded for a credit on the replacement part. This isn't necessarily untrue, but I'd specifically asked for them to hold onto any replaced parts for me to see. I will say their work has always held up. Had been there a few times before and it seemed a little pricey for certain things, but I always trusted them and kept coming back. My Grand Cherokee was overheating, so even tho the water pump and coolant levels were fine, it must have been the fan. So Dan and crew took a look at it, and sure enough, it was the fan, but they also said I should get new brakes. It took a while to get back to me (their parking lot has tons of Jeeps waiting to get fixed--which is a testament to their customer loyalty), but that was fine as I told them I didn't need the Jeep back right away. They did exactly as they said, called to notify me of recommendations and gave me an estimate before I greenlighted it. Repairs were done, brakes felt better and overall, I feel safer. I was out of town so couldn't pick up the Jeep for another week later, and they were fine with that as well. They probably aren't the lowest price shop, but they are certainly professional and do what they say they're going to do. read more

If I could rate this business negative 1 star I would. They installed new gear sets in my TJ and left a shim in the differential which went through my new gears. Luckily, I found it the next time I changed gear fluid. This last time there they adjusted my upper and lower control arms to try to correct the pinion angle. I drove the Jeep about 3 months but the rear suspension was making a banging sound so I crawled under the Jeep and found the forward bolt on the lower control arm backed out about 3 inches. It was barely in place by friction only. Had it backed out completely at highway speeds I'm not sure it would have been controllable. Think carefully before choosing this business. You will pay a premium price but you will not get premium workmanship. read more

The great thing about Dan and Robert is they don't ever do anything expensive if there is a cheaper (yet as good) way to do it. I had an air conditioner problem. I know many places would have tried to sell me a new compressor. Robert took mine apart and shimmed a contact that allowed it to work perfectly! What a great thing. STAY AWAY!!!! I had them replace the clutch in my 88 Comanche. When I went to use 4X4 it wasn't hooked up. When I took it back, I had them replace the fuel tank at the same time. When I picked it up, they told me that 4X4 needed new lincage and a new shifter. If I found the parts they would install them free. On the way home, the plate on the side of the new tank fell off when I filled the tank.GALLONS of gas flowed out. Initially the wanted ME to DRIVE it to them, I made them send a wrecker. Then I had to REMIND them they owed me a tank of gas. The shifter was not working BECAUSE THEY DROPPED A BOLT IN IT! The lincage just needed a hitch pin. While fixing this, I noticed that that they LEFT OUT ABOUT 1/3 of the bolts and nuts from the cross member and trans mount. It may be an old truck, but i payed for the repairs with GOOD MONEY. I will not go back and recommend you stay away too! read more

They've always treated me right and stood by the quality of their work. The prices are fair and reasonable. Dan is a really great guy and he totally helped me out recently. He easily could have charged me for a repair that I forgot I had done somewhere else under warranty. Instead he told me the part didn't look very old and that prompted me to check with my old shop. Turns out it'll be covered with no cost. I'm glad I switched to getting my Grand Cherokee serviced at Just Jeeps. They seem to be able to fix any problem with any Jeep. I highly recommend this shop. I had an engine light pop on in the middle of a cross-country road trip. These guys could have easily tried to sell me on a coil-pack or pricey sensor to fix the engine code problem, but they were honest good guys. They tested the engine, figured out the real problem, and got me on my way with a cheap fix. I wish I lived in Austin just so I could take my Jeep here instead of other places. I have taken my Jeep here for a few smaller repairs, but just recently a long awaited 3.5" Jeep lift, tires, wheels, back light adjustment, etc. Dan and Robert were so patient, super knowledgeable, helpful, and straightforward during the entire process as this was my very first Jeep lift. Deeply disappointed in these guys. Sadly, I did a lot of research to get to Just Jeeps, so no one is to blame but me. My Grandfather left me his 1974 Jeep. It was involved in a fire and as such, doesn't run. They were great at getting me to believe they were the right choice and terrible at delivering on that promise. They've had (and still do) my Jeep for 9 months and have not even touched it. Yeah, 9 months. It's nauseating. It's just sitting outside in their graveyard of Jeeps, waiting. They've told me on multiple occasions that work will begin "next week" only to go dark and silent. It's immensely frustrating for a busy person who cannot drive a project like this every single day. And I'm not looking for a "deal." It's a big project and I expect to pay for it. A premium price even. But they just do not care. I'll stop in every time I can (I travel as a consultant and their hours are difficult for me to make) and I get a big smile and a friendly handshake, an excuse of one sort or another, and another promise of "next week." So frustrating. If you have a lift kit, or a need a brake job, or some other such menial or cosmetic thing, I'm sure they're fine - possibly even better than fine. But, if you're looking a place to take on a larger project, you'll need to look elsewhere. I've been extremely disappointed and I feel helpless ... really feels awful to have my Jeep just sitting there with very few options. read more

These guys are awesome! When my 2005 Jeep Wrangler started having issues, I called 4 Wheel Parts because I have gone to them in the past. When I explained to the guy there what was going on with my Jeep, he said Just Jeeps would be able to handle it because they have the ability to do it. So of course I called Just Jeeps. Dane told me to bring it in on Monday so they can work on it all week, and they got right to it. The customer service there is spot-on. When I went to pick up my Jeep on Friday, Dane, who I have been dealing with the whole time, was so awesome and so nice. He called me about 20 minutes before closing to tell me it was ready. I said I could be there but it would be after 6, which is when they close. But he said to come on by. So I had my roommate drive me over there in her car, we went in and he was just the nicest guy. We talked about Jeeps and candy. For staying a few minutes late on a Friday night to help a poor girl get her Jeep back after almost 2 weeks of not having it, it's just the best feeling in the world!
