Every single person I interacted with went above and beyond, and their communication was outstanding. I've been having trouble with my Jeep on and off for about three years. It finally broke down in April. I had already taken it to two Jeep dealerships that weren't able to help, and even back in 2022 I tried another shop (Just Jeeps), but my Jeep broke down again just a week later. Baldi's is truly different. Within one week, they were able to figure out what no one else could. I can't recommend them enough! I should have read the negative reviews before I went. They are 100% believable after my experience. Baldy's had my Jeep MON-THU and the communication was rough from the start. I dropped it off Monday at 9:00 for a 10:00 appointment and was told I'd get a call around 10. By 12:30 there was still nothing, so I called and was told they were looking at it. By 3:30 I called again and learned they had forgotten to even write down two of the original items I told them about at drop-off. I didn't get the estimate until 6:02, after they were already closed. ​ One of the items I asked for Ana estimate on was the return power steering hose (the estimate said I needed both hoses replaced) On Tuesday morning I approved only the P/S hose repair. I didn't hear from them until I called Wednesday afternoon and was told a hose hadn't come in yet and they hoped to finish Thursday. I heard nothing all day Thursday until at 2:00 I called again and was told the Jeep still hadn't even been started, so I went to pick it up. When I got there, it was buried behind other Jeeps and even a dead Jeep shell, and they had to use a forklift and move everything around just to get mine out. ​ The estimate also felt off. I told them the return power steering hose was leaking and asked for that hose to be replaced, but they quoted both hoses. They also wanted to replace all four door hinges when all I wanted was a slight adjustment to the driver-side door hinge, maybe 2 cm. When I questioned that, they said trying to fix those can bend or break them. So instead of adjusting one hinge, they wanted to charge around $500 to replace two hinges on the problem door and the two hinges on the door that had no issue at all. They also initially wanted to replace the front coils even though those BDS springs had less than 500 miles on them. That's hard to justify when the real issue was more like spring orientation and isolators, not worn-out springs. A few of the things they pointed out may have been necessary, but the whole experience felt slow, sloppy, and way too eager to jump to expensive parts replacement. I'd look elsewhere for a Jeep shop. read more

Update: They installed the wrong ring gear bolt during my regear and lift. After the break in, and a shakedown run, I drove from Waco to Moab. One Mike on to the first trail, the bolt backed out, tore up the gears, and blew four holes in the diff. I asked for credit for the parts and labor to apply to an upgrade, and they acted like they did me a favor. I asked for a $500 shop credit for all the money my blown trip cost; they said no. They treated me awfully, even accusing me of extortion on the day I paid an additional $4,700 for the upgrade axle assembly! Now, the axle seal is leaking. Two shops have told me that it is another installation error. Once is a mistake. Twice is a BAD shop. And as horrible as the customer service is I would recommend them even if they didn't screw things up so badly. read more

If I could get zero stars I would. The owners treat customers and their employees with very little respect. With zero evidence or rational reasoning, I was accused of insurance fraud by their manager, Ryan. Trey, the owner was there and completely avoided the conversation and bailed out of the shop, which only demonstrates his inability to work with customers or show any strength as an owner. I've spoken to current and previous employees of the shop and heard only bad things. Avoid this place and then headache that comes with doing business with them. read more

Baldy's rocks! I bought my '14 JK Rubicon in Sept, and was introduced to the shop through a Jeep group I joined. I've had them do a partial lift as well as upgrading my tires to 35s. Their prices are spot on! Labor is incredibly reasonable for the skill of the mechanics they employ, and parts are the same or less than manufacturer prices. Trey and Darby, the shop owners, are some of the most affable people you'll ever meet. Informative, welcoming, and accomodating every time I visit the shop. Brad is an absolute treasure! He's incredibly friendly, and has helped me make so many informed decisions on parts to help me stay in budget. Brad is quick to respond, has made himself available after hours for me, and has always gotten back to me very quickly when I've requested quotes. Tim, the mechanic who handled my lift install, did a stellar job working with whatever fresh hell lived under my Jeep. When I asked what I needed to upgrade next, he suggested some priority items, but was quick to assure me that it wasn't an immediate necessity. While I've not had work done by them, I would not hesitate to trust my Jeep with Frank or Greg as well. Really friendly guys, and I've seen the quality work they've done on friends' Jeeps. 1. They charge for work they do NOT perform. I had to double check, and found out they never did the work. I got a refund, but that's pretty bad. 2. Jeff / Frank thought I had a stuck lifter or spun main bearing - It was the Water Pump - the Water pump was Counter Clockwise for serpentine belt, not clockwise for V-belt. They had No clue. My friend dropped her jeep off at this place today for an inspection. The customer service is pretty good the guy was really nice. The only thing I didn't like is that I made an appointment for 11 AM, and they didn't start working on my car until almost 12:30ish. When they finally did bring it back for the inspection, they did do it pretty quickly it took about 30 minutes. I was just kind of disappointed on lack of ability to keep the appointment time. I don't really have a comparison for prices to other places, but this inspection with all the repairs costed $1800. read more

TERRIBLE communication be prepared to call them a couple times a day cause the "I'll check that and get right back to you" never happened MULTIPLE times with MULTIPLE people. Also gave them the fault code and after a $500 service I had to call them to find out the code that came up (which was the same code from before) is a code that they don't service. I feel like it should have been expressed to me that they couldn't fix it before they suggested changing fluids that don't have anything to do with the code. So after spending money with them I have to spend more money at a different shop that can actually fix the code. Will I go to baldys again for my Jeep? Absolutely not. Called to get some estimates and Trey and I ended up talking Jeeps for a good minute. He suggested I get an alignment, which he said they didn't do in house anymore. I attempted to align my Jeep myself and found my tie rod was bent. I fixed that and went to the shop Trey pointed me to and everything is great now. I had Baldy install a rancho 2 inch sport lift on my JKUR. So, I left a voicemail yesterday for someone to give me a call back. I called this morning and spoke to a person who said it would be over$500 to install a set of side steps on my Jeep Wrangler. I explained to him I am a disabled veteran and could probably do it on my own but since my injuries from a Iraq I might need some help he was understanding and I told him I was not willing to pay $500 on steps that only cost me $159. That's not where the problem is. A few minutes ago a Mike called me and I explained that I had already spoken to someone this morning. However, I did say to him that I've had a chance to take a look at reviews on yelp and noticed several women have said they were treated as if they were ignorant and studied. I started to tell this to Mike who said he's only worked there for 3 weeks and he would NEVER treat women like that but, as I continued my explanation he then hung up on me. So much for not treating women like women said they were treated. I called back and Mike answered again.... I said " this is exactly what these women are talking about! Hanging up on me and not listening because you don't care is just the mysoginstic views they are talking about.! The problem is..... you don't even understand what you've done wrong. I as I've stated before an a retired Army Soldier that worked on many vehicles, the only reason I called is because After being blown up in Iraq , am unable to get I get vehicles to install the equipment myself. SHAME on you and I hope you get everything that's coming or in this case no business from any women who now own more than half of all Jeeps!!!!!!! read more
