Delicious!! I found out about Just Kabobs from an Instagram video. The commenter said the food was fantastic, so I decided that I'd check it out. We visited on a bustling Saturday afternoon. There were several people already in line who were still looking at the menu, so they told us to cut the line. My sister and I both ordered the chicken kabob plate. Neither of us are big pita fans, so we didn't eat that, but everything else was delicious. The chicken was well cooked and succulent. The rice and potatoes were both seasoned to perfection, moist, and tasty. We were both pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted. The salad was great too. It was fresh and offset the carbs perfectly. I had the Italian dressing which had a light and refreshing taste. We ordered takeout and ate the food a few hours later. It warmed up well at that time and the following day. The portion size is extremely generous, so there's enough food for a few meals if you tend to eat smaller meals. The restaurant is bright and comfortable. The service was fast and the gentleman that rang us out was very friendly. Both plates cost about twenty dollars, which is very reasonable for lunch. So they chicken is a little dry and I don't care for the pork. However, I love the shrimp kabobs and grilled vegetables they offer. It's pretty consistent. This place is excellent. Clean and staffed with efficient and friendly workers. There's more folks behind the counter than at a 3x bigger Portillos but they're a well-oiled machine. Everything was ready quick and tasted great. The chicken prepared on the grill is great and the Gyro meat is some of the best I've tried. They are flavorful and somewhat tender. I get the dinner, my husband gets the kabob on pita sandwich. It's all fast service, it may not look very appealing overall but this place is busting with character. The food is good. I am in the mode of the flavor Mediterranean cooking. They use best oils , best cuts of meats that are not fatty which is essential, and the salads and hummus is delicious. I don't care for the potatoes, but the plates are huge. I decided to go thru the drive thru and didn't know what I wanted but the cashier was nice and patient. I ordered the Greek rotisserie chicken what was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. I've had takeout from here a few times and it is always yummy and inexpensive! A great combination! I can get a meal for about $10 which is wonderful! In the past, I ordered: The gyro which is delicious but has so many onions! Hahah. The gyro plate: delicious again with mixed meat! In addition to the protein, their plate come with potatoes, rice pilaf, salad, and pita. It is almost always more than I can finish in one sitting. Their pita with tzatziki is awesome! I had it a few times prior and it had wayyyy too much garlic. They must have changed their recipe because I had it the other day and it was perfect! The roasted chicken plate and added skewer of shrimp: the chicken was good but the shrimp was awesome! I loved it so much, that just the other day, I ordered the shrimp plate. Yummmmmy! The shrimp were smaller, but it came with 3 skewers worth- so I think a total of about 15 small shrimp. That along with the rest of the plate was a good sized meal in and of itself- as I said before, I usually don't finish the sides, but I decided to order an extra side of grilled veggies (without onions), and it was great. They were cooked well, perhaps a few were grilled a little too long because they got soft, but most were still crunchy! The green zucchini and the peppers were very flavorful. This place is terrible. I ordered a salad and paid 50 cents for extra dressing. The salad was dry with no dressing on it. I also ordered it with no peppers nor omatoes it had everything on it. I live 7-10 miles away. I called and they want me to bring this salad back to make it right. How about you make it right on monday Monday the order was wrong. I offered to send a picture to confirm it's wrong with no dressing and they declined. A reputable business wod offer a new salad on the next visit but no. They want me to lug this salad back on Monday and that's the o ly way they will correct it by giving me 2 salad dressing or a freshly made salad after I bring the wrong one back.
