This is such a nostalgic place to visit! They have all the classics like burgers, hotdogs and shakes. Their roast beef and corn beef are made in-house which have no preservatives. Small space so come at a less busy time if you really want to spend time inside or use the drive thru if you are pressed for time. They are open late which is nice! Stopped in town for a few hours on a quick business trip. We were looking some great local food and especially a good polish sausage. Well we found it! Ordered a polish sausage dog and a patty melt. The sausage was out of this world good. Then I tried the patty melt and it was possibly even better. They were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly as well. I got the chance to check out this staple in Midlothian Illinois and I can definitely understand why it's been around 45+ years! From the immaculately clean dining area to the friendly customer service they make you feel at home and want to come back. They also have fresh bread that they bake daily that is warm light flaky and soft. Their Cream of Potato soup is simply delicious! Their corn beef and roast beef is slow cooked and piled on their fresh bread! The patty melt was legit one of the best I have ever had! Subport is the heart of Midlothian and the only reason to visit this town. The subs put subway and Mr.Sub to shame. Their garlic fries are quite simply the best and a must have side for when you go yourself. The service was never a problem amongst the many years of going there. This place is fire. I usually don't rate place at all probably my first rate ever. I fast all day and decided I want something to eat at 1am and this was the closest place open beside lame ahh McDonald's and other fast foods that I didn't want. I called and they answer, usually places that stay open late dont like to answer so that's the first good thing. Got there and seen to hard working women, I didn't expect the perfect service cuz it is 1am you gotta understand how they feel working all day till 2am but it was smooth. They sell cold or hot sandwiches which I thought was dope. When I received my food it was hot and toasty and the fries were perfectly salted and crispy but they do get a lil soggy (like all fries) after they cool down but barley I mean barley, best fries I had from a spot in a while. The sandwich was delicious and tasted fresh, just wish you can taste the cheese a lil more. They actually stuff the sandwich so I didn't mind it. Portion size is crazy, you have to have a big back to finish all of it or a beautiful lovely parter to dig in with.
