I was in Newberg for a couple of days last week and was looking for a healthy go-to option for takeout. Most of the restaurants in town are fast food. I got the golden curry with silky tofu and it was delicious! The vegetables were really fresh, the rice on the side was perfect and it also included a fried egg roll. Newberg is getting more diverse in the restaurant world. I can eat Vietnamese soup any day but I had to go to Beaverton. Very glad Just Pho You is only 2 miles away. We arrived close to 3:00 and two couple just finished so we ended up by ourselves in the restaurant. We were greeted with a big smile which continued through our stay. She was very happy and helpful. I am sure the lady was one of the owners. Definitely takes pride in her business and enjoys her customers. We started with the Veggie roll that came with the peanut sauce and crushed sprinkled peanuts. New to my husband, so I didn't even ask, but his roll disappeared quite quickly. I had the Chicken soup and it was good. Standard Vietnamese Chicken soup with a side of basil, sprouts, habanero/chilies, and a slice of lime. I was told I could add any other vegies if I choose ( extra cost ) but she was up front with that. My husband had the Teriyaki Chicken with Yakisoba Noodles. This was also good without being too sweet and over powering. I will definetly be back to try other dishes and keep up on this review. read more

The appetizers were very very good the deep fried spring rolls and potsticker. Their homemade sauce for potsticker is the best compare to any places I been. I had pho special isn't was that good, there was no basil and traditional fish served with my dish. Not a lot of protein in my bowl. The ice coffee wasn't good. My sister had the rice noodle. We requested for the grilled shrimp and pork combined and received the grilled pork and egg roll. A little disappointed. The pork itself was very tasty and good. One of the best Asian restaurants anywhere in the greater Willamette Valley. I always order the Spicy Pho; it's not too spicy and incredibly delicious. The Spring Rolls are a delight as well. My wife and I eat here often and neither of us are ever disappointed in the quality of food or the service. Today's visit to Just Pho You was just meh Pho me. The service was great but the food wasn't anything special. I ordered the vermicelli with lemon grass chicken. First, I could barely eat the chicken with chops sticks as it wasn't sliced all the way through so I ended up pulling it apart with my fingers. The chicken itself wasn't all that tasty... bland actually. Thankfully there was Sriracha sauce for the rescue. I miss the teriyaki place that was here before. read more

This place was friendly and really nice, you walk in to the smell of fresh pho and are greeted with a smile. The vegetarian pho was slightly lacking in flavor but was overall really good and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The beef pho was amazing and usually I'm not a fan of beef pho. The fried rice was damn good! I really enjoyed the Thai tea because it wasn't overly sweet. We also got the shrimp and pork salad rolls which were alright, though the peanut sauce tasted less like peanuts and more like soy sauce. The service was friendly, the portions were plenty ( in the best way possible I'm not gonna get that super bowl again... lasted me 3 meals), and the overall feel was very relaxed and kind. Fun experience! Our visit made for a memorable date night. Never had pho before and wow so good! The restaurant smelled amazing from the moment we entered. The service was excellent. There were only two waitresses up front on a busy night, but they totally had it down. We had drinks immediately and the appetizer only took a minute. This place is a true gem. Best vegetarian pho I've ever had, hands down. The service was friendly, the place was super clean, they had a nice selection of the essential condiments (a lot of pho/Vietnamese places I've been to in the Willamette Valley don't have a chili, hoisin, fish, and schriracha caddy on the table). B1 - House Special Vermicelli Noodle Bowl: Grilled Pork, Egg Rolls and Shrimp... Get IT! Best I've had in the PORTLAND metroplex. Not that I've had them all, but I'd guess I've tried it at a dozen other spots. Very fresh vegetables, flavorful, tender pork, great rolls, great mix of condiments so you mix your bowl to fit your palate. Aside from Joann B's homemade Pho, this is our go-to in Newberg!The owner makes us feel like her family, always asks about our kiddo and whatever friends we took with us last time. I recommend the spicy pho. The noodles are a little larger and can be slippery to pick up but the spicy beef broth is delicious and well-balanced. If you are a control freak you can always spice up your original pho broth which has some complex notes that remind me of Chinese five spice and lemon grass. In either case let loose and don't avoid the beef tendon. The cartilage is good for your joints and the texture is a fun change from my usual American diet. read more

Great spot for take out during COVID. We ordered the large beef pho and a vermicelli bowl (lemongrass chicken + spring roll) - both dishes were full of flavor and came with plenty of vegetables/sauces on the side to add fresh herbal flavors and spice. We were worried about the uncooked beef slices that come on the side for the pho, but it took just seconds for the thin beef to turn from pink to brown when you drop the pieces to cook in the broth. Plenty of food for two people with some leftovers. Way better value than alternative options in/around wine country. read more

I love this place, period! I have tried quite a few places that serve PHO and I continue to come here when I'm out in Newberg. The place is small, can get a bit loud at times but food is good, served fast and prices are on par with other restaurants. As for the PHO, it's pretty darn good. The restaurant was pretty steady on a Sunday night but the food was so very good and the server was polite! We got the vegetarian pho and it is now my favorite location for pho! The only negative comment I have is that I ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer alongside my vegetarian pho, and when the wrong rolls came out (with meat) the server said oh I'm sorry they're already made, maybe next time.
