They have always been very vigilant on making my dishes correctly with many additions or subtractions. The food is made with love and lots of flavor. They couldn't interpret the order properly . They mixed up the two meals ordered. It tasted like gelatinous noodles with tomato like ketchup fried tofu just gross . Never going back . Simply "OK" Thai Food but nothing spectacular especially if you've had amazing Thai Food in major cities such as Portland, Seattle or LA. For this area, this is definitely one, if not, the best Thai place around. The service was really friendly and the wait to receive your food after ordering was not long but I felt the food lacked a bit of flavor - that is, the flavor could have been stronger. Even the thai iced tea I ordered was on the weak side. I also felt their prices were a bit on the high side for the portion size they give you. The restaurant is clean and easy to find. They are also able to set aside tables for larger groups if you call ahead of time. I had a group of 12 and 45 minutes before arriving, I called to ask them if they would reserve some tables for us and they gladly did. I definitely recommend this place as a solid Thai place if you are in this area and but don't expect 'absolutely amazing' here. read more

I ordered tom yum and it was delicious. The red curry tofu, however, was very bland and tasted as if there was water to cut most of the coconut milk base. The service was very nice and accommodating and I know they work hard to keep going in McMinnville. I hope they open fine-in service and up the flavor on the red curry in the future! read more

This place has gone down hill. Their food used to be awesome, but now the flavor is so bland that I find I have to use salt and hot sauce with every meal I get. After tonight's experience, we won't be back. We ordered takeout- pad see ew and mossaman curry- no potato, sub bell pepper. After arriving home we find the curry has EXTRA potato and no bell pepper My husband calls to tell them and repeats himself literally 10x over the course of 10 minutes, explaining how the curry is wrong and we'd like to come get the correct curry. He drives all the way back, and she argues with him again! On top of that, she takes the curry from his hands, planning to go to the kitchen to scoop out the potato and add bell pepper! She didn't even prepare a new order! Who does that? When my husband asks for it to be remade, so that it is hot, she still takes our curry and puts the new curry in the same container.... making a scene. So we ended up with one hot curry because we insisted, and one cold pad see ew when it was finally time to eat- an HOUR later. Horrific customer service. Food is bland. Skip this place. read more

I know some of you might think it's harsh of me to give this establishment a 1 star, considering this is a Thai restaurant in this quaint little town of McMinnville, Oregon. But please hear me out. First, the service was terrible. We were not warmly greeted. We were not given straws for our water, especially when our water glasses were filthy. When I asked for hot water, I was told they don't serve hot water but only warm water. Say what? The lady who waited on us came by exactly twice: to bring us the menu and to take our order. Not once did she came by to check on us, which is unacceptable because the restaurant was not busy. Perhaps the food will redeem itself from this subpar service. Nope. Our party of six had each ordered at least one dish of our own and not one single dish was good. Now, was it edible? Sure, it's food, but so is dog food. The crispy wonton was overcooked and basically fried wonton wraps with a teaspoon of meat. The panang curry, the pad see ew, the pad ram (chicken with peanut sauce), and the pad Thai were all heinous. Look, I know this is McMinnville and is in the middle of nowhere, but this cannot even be compared to Americanized Thai food! Everything was either bland or linear in flavors, which is not what Thai food is supposed to be! Thai food is known for its complex flavors and lots of them! To top it off, one of the restrooms is out of order, so only one other restroom was available and it smelled foul in there. I do not recommend this restaurant even if you're willing to settle for less to fulfill a craving because what you get from this place is not Thai food. read more

They give you a good amount for the price, and you feel like you're getting your money's worth. Service ranges to be honest, sometimes it's amazingly quick, sometimes it's painfully slow. There's a reason for this: Thai Country is tasty, affordable, and convenient. It's not too fancy so I could have shown up in my cleaning sweats without looking too tacky. But attire and restaurant decor doesn't even factor into picking this place. The food is so phenomenal that you shouldn't even hesitate, just go. My pick: the pork pad thai. And try one of the soups. Coming from the South (that's where I live now, not originally from though), I'm used to friendly people. I thought small town and Thai run establishment mean people are just as friendly but boy was I wrong. There was no warm greeting, not even a smile. The place wasn't even busy when I arrived. The tom yum soup was mediocre but better than other mediocre versions that I've had in the US. No spice to it and the boss lady didn't even ask for my preferred spice level. Two things that made up for it: the small was like a medium size bowl and the shrimps were fresh. As for my entree, I got a pad prik khing. Major mistake because when they brought it to my table, all I could smell was raw onion or shallot. That shouldn't have happened with this dish because the stir fry paste usually has a strong smoky fragrant aroma to it, not something raw. Both food items were not piping hot when served to me. I'm glad I'm just visiting because the food served here really didn't work for me. If you must eat here, their fried noodles and fried rice look decent. Curry is questionable. read more

Definitely worth a visit! The portions are great and their prices are very fair! I couldn't make up my mind for which entree i wanted so I had the Pad Kee Mao AND the Pad Thai! Both were so delicious and would drive all the back to go there again! The staff was very polite and very patient with my questions! Love their yellow curry and Thai iced tea. They're always very fast and nice here. I tend to get the same thing every time and it's always good. I've had the pad Thai, it's decent but not as good as other places I've had, but that's probably just preference, it's a little too oily. Add on the peanut sauce and it's bomb! read more

I love this place. My husband and I come here often and we are never disappointed. I usually get the Pra Ram. The pineapple coconut curry is also really good.
