I came here with a friend a few weeks ago. The inside is lovely! We were quickly seated and they did a great job accommodating my friend with a peanut allergy. Food came quickly and was good. After our food arrived I think the server checked back once, but we never had our water glasses filled the whole time we were there. Food is really good, my daughter had a vermicelli platter all by herself. She's 4. My son had the fish ball pho and gobbled that up and I had the #1. It's good food, great service - very on top of things but price is steep for pho. I do understand that it's in Lake Oswego but man inflation is hurting everyone. We wanted something light for dinner and found this place on Yelp and we're so glad we did. We got the woven rice with pork and the kalbi plate. The woven rice was fantastic. Stopped by Pho PT Good for a quick lunch and overall had a great experience. I started with the grilled pork salad rolls, and they were super tasty--fresh, flavorful, and wrapped perfectly. Definitely a standout appetizer. For my main, I had the beef brisket pho. The broth was fragrant--I picked up on a strong note of what I think was star anise. While I appreciate a good aromatic broth, this one was a little too overpowering for my personal taste. It was good, just not quite as rich or balanced as I prefer. Really not a good spot. First of all, they make you write two 5 star google reviews for a discount (first red flag). Each dish (that we ordered) was $20+ and came with hardly any meat the overall flavor was just not worth the price. We bought food for 4 people to bring to the hospital and there were no napkins or plastic utensils and had to eat Pho with our fingers. We got a strawberry tea and it was honestly so bad. It was wayyyyy too syrupy and came with literally HALF a slice of strawberry lol. Honestly would not recommend and would definitely try another spot! :/ read more

We went in for a quick dinner last night. There were only two other tables occupied, but service was slow and inattentive. The best dish we had was the Combo Woven Rice. Interesting and delicious. The fried rice was so, so. My husband really enjoyed the vermicelli bowl. It was another Vietnamese restaurant before. They have changed up the decor a little bit. It is good looking space. There were two females working in the front of the restaurant. One seemed older and would not interact with us at all, even when we needed something. The younger woman was clearly a student and was doing homework in the back of the restaurant. We were left with a table full of dirty dishes and, in order to pay, we had to go to the back and ask for the bill. We ordered a bunch of items including calamari, grilled pork banh mi, homemade sausage, PT good plate, woven rice combo, super vermicelli bowl, pho good special, and sugarcane shrimp. My favorites were - sugarcane shrimp: tasty flavor and the sugarcane was very juicy - super vermicelli bowl: a crowd favorite with great flavor - woven rice combo: another crowd favorite with great tasting meat, fresh veggies, and more sugarcane shrimp. - pho good special: generous sized bowl of pho with comforting flavor As one of the very few, if not only, Vietnamese spots in Lake Oswego, this is definitely a great spot. We came in with a party of 5 on Wednesday night around 7:30 PM or so and there were a few parties dining but as soon as we got some food, it cleared out. Completely different from the thai tea - I would take this off the menu if you don't know how to make it - calamari - dry and tough. I noticed was the fish sauce tasted a little watered down for my taste but that's my preference as a Vietnamese person Service: The servers were very friendly and accommodating! Overall, a pretty decent spot if you're in the mood for Vietnamese food. The prices are on the higher side but the portions are a lot bigger than anticipated. With all the dishes, we were able to fully feed a family of 5 and take two sandwiches home for the next day. We enjoy this place and frequently pop in when we want something fast, relatively healthy, and reasonably priced. Though Pho is one of their signature dishes, I actually prefer their noodle soups, the barbecue pork won ton soup with rice noodles and shrimp is one of my faves. Another must-try here are their bowls. The lemongrass grilled chicken and grilled pork bowls with vegetables and rice vermicelli noodles are both outstanding. One thing I think they could improve on are their side sauces. The peanut sauce is basically tasteless and bland and the fish sauce is fair but is missing something. It's just kind of meh. I also feel that, while the service is adequate, it could be a bit more attentive. The last couple of times we were there, our server never checked back with us or refilled our water glasses. And often we find ourselves having to chase down our bill up at the counter which isn't a huge deal but sometimes they bring it to the table so the protocol is inconsistent. Lastly, please keep the heat on. At times, it's been so cold that we've had to eat with our coats on. read more

We were on our way to Portland and were hungry but not many spots were open as it was late in the evening. This pho restaurant popped up on our maps and we decided to give it a try. At first impression, we noticed that we were the only customers inside and were a little bit reluctant to eat here but decided to stay as there were not many options open. We ordered the beef pho special, egg rolls, spring rolls, and teriyaki chicken. To our surprise, the food was delicious and had a very authentic Vietnamese flavor. The pho had that staple aroma from the spices and had a big portion of meat. The egg rolls and salad rolls were also very good. Overall, I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. The service was also great with our server being attentive but not overbearing. Ours was a takeout order but it was dazzlingly good across the board. We had three dishes. The No. 80. Super Vermicelli Bowl was a feast. I had the pork version and the grilled meat was delicious. Included was a crispy egg roll plus a skewed of three grilled shrimp. With the vermicelli noodles and a bed of fresh bean sprouts and other veggies was such a great spectrum of flavors and textures. We also ordered No. 51. Grilled Chicken Plate. Again the grilling and marination skills are hard to come by as the dishes across the board were never dry (over grilled or reheated) and tender. Lastly but certainly not least was an outstanding No. 62. Grilled Meat Banh Mi. The meat was excellently grilled and even for this late in the day order, the bun was fresh and crunchy crust but fresh interior. Be careful of the potent jalapeño. The added fries came with a dab of a sauce of mayo with horseradish that was far too stingy. We started with No. 25. Coconut Fried Shrimp that were gone in a flash. The order arrived hot and promptly in our telephone order. After eating here several years ago and abandoning the so so food, we will be back to dig deeper in the menu.
