Just a quick update. "Just Pho You" has become one of our favorite places to "dine-out" and for "Take-out"! Our favorites list has grown to include Thai Tea, Fried Spring Rolls, Chow-mein, Pad Thai and the same great Pho Bowls and Wonton soup... We are going to miss this warm family restaurant (Transferring back to Texas) and we want to encourage visitors to stop in and enjoy this great little spot! We think you"ll enjoy it as much as we have!

service was super good, quick, and efficient! the seating area was so cute, a little small but that added to the cute/comfortable vibe. the food was so good, i had the vegetarian pho and it was very yummy. i also got the lychee boba which was also very good, and the boba was cooked perfectly! thank you!

The food is the star of the show here. Very laid back atmosphere. More of the established couple date place rather than the first date place. I think this would make the list of places not to go. Not anything bad just no frills. The family is sitting there eating if you get there before the crowd. Yes the crowd is coming. That's how you know the pho is where you go when you know. This broth is in the top 5 for me all time. It's not one or two. As those are reserved for places in China and CA that are just up on Pho Mountain by themselves. Service is a little slow but not something that you mind because there is a laid back atmosphere as they I assume the family take turns coming out taking your order then cooking. I got a large size. For me easily two meals but worth getting the large of you wanted to go for it a little. If you get full you could stretch it to three meals. Reasonable pricing as again I believe you're paying for the no frills. You want to eat at the place that is full. This place is regularly full in a shopping mall that does not support much else other than the Safeway. Definitely a return worthy fo the quality of food.

I ordered a small P10 - beef, basket and tripe pho and hot vietnamese coffee. The food was served very quickly and delicious. I enjoyed it very much. The service was great and the dining space was good - soft jazz music playing in the air while I enjoyed the delicious food. It was a great day!!

This place is VERY filling. I had ordered salad rolls which were rather small but very fresh. Despite being skinnier rolls, they were super delicious and the proportions of the ingredient were on point. I had the c-1 rice dish which was very tasty and filling. 50 cents for the addition of the egg roll was a no brainer! It seemed like the meat may have been marinated, but was great nonetheless! Only slight downside for picky folks is the fat that is still left on. Will definitely be back again when I pass through Newberg!

I had the bún (rice noodles) with grilled chicken and charred prawns. The first bite was good: prawns were excellent, lightly cooked, moist with a smoky sweet char. The second bite included nicely herbed noodles with fresh, good quality lettuce, mint and cilantro. The third bite, and majority of the dish unfortunately, contained overcooked, chewy chicken. The fish sauce mixture lacked birds eye chili, acid and seasoning. Dry chicken dominated, but ironically components that require more delicate treatment were prepared well. The fried spring rolls (cha gio) were greasy, missing that blistered, bubbly skin.. My companion ordered a strawberry matcha and the vegetarian bún: nice and herby and green, but lacking that good flavor (chili, acid) in the Nước Chấm fish sauce. It shouldn't be solely up to sriracha to get a dish to the right flavors. In all, a nice spot aesthetically and friendly staff but while dishes had super fresh veg and some solid proteins, other proteins were overcooked and our dishes were missed some of the flavors we love to see in Vietnamese food.

We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Over the years, I've brought friends and family here, talking it up enough that they're willing to make the journey with me. I always recommend the tofu vermicelli bowl. The fact that my tofu-skeptical father sang its praises after I made him try it is a testament to its flavor. I still think of it as the gold standard of tofu. I was recently in the area for the first time in 5 or 6 years and decided to go back to Vivi's with my mom. It was the first thing that popped into both of our minds-a real jinks moment. I was nervous that it wouldn't live up to our memory. Vivi's had moved around the corner from their old location-a cute, cozy little cafe-but their new restaurant is more spacious, hopefully to accommodate the flocks of diners that their food merits. I got the tofu vermicelli, which was exactly as I remembered, equally flavorful and generous in portion size for $15. My mom got the papaya salad for $5.50. I previously thought I didn't like papaya-I was mistaken. It was a unique and refreshing dish that I would 100% go back for. Vivi's food tastes fresh and nourishing and at the same time satisfying and rich. We were short on time and were prepared to have to take it to go, but our food was out in 10 minutes. I don't usually write reviews, but after so many great experiences over the years it felt long overdue. A small business that has maintained their quality at reasonable prices over the years deserves to be recognized with a recommendation. Give Vivi's a try!
