    Ōra Midori

I always walked by wanting to try this place and finally went in on Saturday night. I ordered the Ōra Midori bowl with eel sauce. There was no line and the service was very friendly and efficient! Not only was this bowl a beautiful work of art, but every bite was pure magic. Each element of the bowl was executed to perfection, blending together to create an incredible poke bowl. So much amazing flavor! I am a HUGE poke fan and this is by far the best I've ever had in Pittsburgh, possibly ever. I cannot wait to go back!

We grabbed the Poke bowl called Tuna 2 Times outside of Old Thunder. This was incredibly delicious. The fish was so fresh and it was a HUGE amount of food. It was enough for two meals. I absolutely loved it-definitely looking for their next stop so I can get it again. The bowl included: marinated & spicy yellowfin tuna / pickled red onion / pineapple / gochujang fermented seaweed salad / roasted macadamia / tōgarashi / tobiko / ponzu. We love that you can usually catch this truck at local breweries.

Just had lunch there today when I was nearby at AAA for some business. I almost walked right by it, it's so small! But I spotted the glowing POKÉ sign in the window & knew I was in the right place. This place started off life as a food truck and now - a big success story - they have their own brick-n-mortar place (heard this from what I think was the owner)! My poké bowl was fresh, flavorful, and creative -- the Scottish Skyes, succulent salmon chunks on a bed of rice (or u can do 1/2 w/ greens) topped with thin slices of avocado, daikon, slivered cucumber, edamame, sesame, pistachios, tamari, and - oddly enough but it really works: beet chips (!). I got sriracha mayo & the nice man making my bowl offered to top it with some tobiko. Two tips -- there must be some list on the counter I missed that lists sauces that can be added and other toppings. I heard them being offered later -- like seaweed salad (I would've gotten this!!), pickled onion (definitely would've added this!!), and some other stuff. It's a bit confusing -- the menu is pretty abbreviated, none of the add-ons are listed. And 2ndly -- it wasn't clear to me - the price in parentheses next to each dish is the small/lunch size. I got that smaller size and it was more than enough for lunch. The ambiance is fine - nothing fancy (see pics). This isn't date night romance! But it's good for lunch and - bonus- it's reasonably priced. To top it off, they had my fave locally-made kombucha. Definitely will be back.

New found GEM in Pittsburgh. This place is delicious, i came for my first time today and the staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming for a first timer! i ended up getting a BYOB, their menu options also seemed good, ill have to come back to try them!! The atmosphere is chill, relaxed and friendly. The quality and freshness of the food is an easy 10/10, the worker even showed me the fish they would be using in my bowl. I've never eaten fish so tender, the tuna literally melts in your mouth!! AMAZING! Not to mention the drink choices, i got a flowery / herbal kombucha. I will definitely be coming back.

Big fan of the rolls here and have had an excellent poke bowl as well. I stop in frequently to grab lunch to go and the entire staff has been super friendly every time. The quality of fish and the value here is excellent.

Fresh ingredients and delicious flavor. My server was friendly and helpful. The menu selections were creative.i I ordered the Ora Midori Poke Bowl, and I particularly loved the beet chips and fresh avocado.

First time and now a forever fan! So much ahi tuna in the burrito. Incredibly fresh tasty fish and a fantastic flavor combination. Grateful to the staff for being super helpful in guiding me through their menu. Parked curbside at Grist House in Millvale on a Sunday evening, I'll be following them on socials for my next fix around Pittsburgh.

This place is amazing. I love the rice-to-fish ratio in the rolls and the big pieces of tuna in the poke bowl was very satisfying. I'd def give this place a 10/10 and I would love to try other things on their menu.

Best sushi food truck in Pittsburgh! I've been to a couple of locations for a couple of times, tired almost everything on the menu. Love the fresh and high quality fish they have, also like their creativity in the food combinations in both bowls and burritos! Their price is also fair for the quality they offer. Will always go back for a sushi craving :)

Tonight Fermata Brewing Company had Just Roll'd Up on their food truck list. I've been craving sushi and WOW it did not disappoint! The service is super friendly, I ordered online w/ their website.. and once I arrived during my time slot he knew exactly who I was! Very personable, packed my sushi up and asked me if I wanted soy sauce. Plenty of it! It's the little details that count for me with a business. I took some chopsticks to go. Now the sushi.. fresh, flavors POPPED, nothing but amazing! The aftertaste felt forever lasting in a good way. Pricing is better than going to chain restaurants. I will be back CERTAINLY! So far the best i've had!

Living on Northside I see this food truck almost every week. However, it took a year for me to make the time to stop in to place an order. I'm so glad I finally did! The rolls were made right in front of us and looked really nice! Food seems to be priced pretty reasonably and there was a generous amount of fish in each. Would love to come back and try some of the poke bowls as well.

When I saw Just Roll'd Up was making their way to the South Hills, I knew I had to take this opportunity to finally try them out, and they did not disappoint! They recommend on their Instagram page to place your order online beforehand and allow about 15 minutes before picking up. The process was super easy, and they sent me a text with the time I should come by for pick-up. Our food was waiting for us when you get there, and we were able to easily pay with a card, contact-free. While the menu is a little bit pricey for a food truck, you definitely get what you pay for! Our poke bowls were packed with ingredients, and the salmon and tuna were super fresh. I also love that they give you the option to try numerous sauces on top. In addition to poke bowls, their menu also includes sushi and a burrito! Be sure to follow them on Instagram to see their schedule for the week.

Delicious poke bowls! Saw the truck by Commonplace coffee at Mexican War Streets so we got lunch to go. Great portion, delicious toppings.

I've been generally impressed by the quality of the sushi. We ordered takeout this time, and everything was extremely well packaged and presented. In terms of the food, we focussed on fairly standard maki rolls: a spicy salmon roll and a spicy California roll. Both were very nicely done. We also tried the veg farm roll, and that was a nice vegetable forward option. Not life changing, but nicely done. We also opted for a vegetable poke bowl, and that was also good. Basically the same combination of vegetables as the veg farm roll, but in a bowl format. The bowl was good, but it was lacking some sort of sauce or glaze that might have pulled things together. It was easy enough to toss on some condiments of our own, but the bowl could have been better. Overall, I this is my favorite sushi destination in Squirrel Hill. It's very clear that the owners are invested in turning out a high quality experience, and that's exactly the type of business I like to support.

All I can say about my recent visit is WOW! We were so very impressed by this AYCE experience…read more When comparing it to other AYCE Sushi type places my family frequents, this has become our favorite. Their selection of appetizers were great, and the quality of each was stellar. We attempted to try quite a few of them, and still have many we want to try. In our group, the tofu with an amazing dashi broth, the crab puffs, "sexy jalepenos", tempura kani, and the gyoza were the standouts. As I stated, though...everything we had was awesome. We all ordered a different ramen, and then shared. They were all phenomenal. The steak teriyaki was also great. Sushi wise, we didn't get to try as many as we had hoped. We were too busy reordering the appetizers. We did try the Crazy Mango roll, and ended up reordering that because it was so good. My kids were with me, and they love all things Mango, and this was phenomenal. For dessert, we had a few orders (and reorders!) of the fried bananas. Overall, I cannot speak higher of our experience. It is very clean, well kept up on, and the service was phenomenal. Quality wise, you can tell how much effort they put into the place purely on their presentation. I had to remark many times about how utterly beautiful some of their dishes were. This was not like our other AYCE experiences where they just rush food out to you. They actually put effort into their craft here, and it is quite obvious. We will definitely be back, and look forward to trying new things that we didn't get to before!

Our server, Cat, was knowledgeable, attentive, and immediately picked up on our social cues, blending in to the chitchat we enjoy, while we could hear her behind us giving another table the alone time they preferred. She is the best server I have experienced in a long time. I heard her tell another table that her whole family is in the restaurant business, and her comfort and skill with every table made that abundantly clear. Too bad we were not hungry enough to order more, because everything was fantastic. We had the chef's selection of sashimi and of sushi (two different dishes) and a takoyaki appetizer. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the different sauces on the nigiri and sashimi elevated the fish in amazing ways. Of course, all of this joy is just highlighted by the incredible three-river view, which my wife said was a great way to start her weekend here. What a great place! I ate the special lobster-tail roll, which was a large size and contained a Maine lobster tail, avocado, asparagus, avocado, masago, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and tobiko roe. Part of it was fried. I really enjoyed the lobster meat and sauces. The total price for these two entrees was $45 plus tax and tip.
