Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap
Jessica S.

I order from here at least 3 times a week! It is such a great lunch for the work week. I always get the honey crispy chicken wrap with light dressing mixed in. There is a generous portion of chicken and it is filling and energizing.

Really enjoyed this salad. It was simple but packed with fresh flavors. The dressing complemented the ingredients perfectly, and the portion size was good. The restaurant had a nice vibe, and the staff was friendly. A great healthy option.

Just Salad... ilysm. Please can you come to Milwaukee? I come down to Chicago now and again to visit our office in the Merchandise Mart, and this spot is always, always my go-to for lunch. Here you'll find customized salads, wraps and smoothies (aka my dream). When I say customized, let me tell ya, you can literally make anything you want, or make alterations on an existing menu item. Most recently, I oped for the Thai Chicken Crunch salad and it was a delight. The romaine was extra crispy, and all of the toppings paired well together: roasted chicken, sliced carrots and cucumbers, fresh cilantro, shredded cabbage, and wonton strips. Oh and let's not forget the best part, which is the spicy Thai peanut dressing + squeezed lime. The whole thing was very light, refreshing, and tasty! Also, they have drink options that I love (but are often hard to find), like the Poppi prebiotic soda. I went with watermelon flavor and it was great. The staff here are immensely fast, like it's no joke. If you approach the restaurant and think "oh that line is long," fear not! Because they are so, so speedy. It doesn't make for them being the most friendly, since they clearly have a fast-paced job to get done (no time for chit-chat), but hey, ya come for the food, em-i-rite?

Crispy Chicken Poblano

I loved this spot. I was staying at the Hyatt Regency next door to the Illinois Center and came by here a couple of times. It was really great to get a fresh and healthy salad for lunch a few days. I like how everything is customizable but they have such great combinations. I tried the chicken poblano one day and that was kinda like a zesty caesar type salad. I had the vegan salad the next day and that was also good. I feel like the portions are a good lunch size. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. I did wish they were open on the weekends though I understand that they mostly cater to folks who work in the area and not the tourists who come by.

Yum! So many healthy choices to choose from. I think I have completely overdid it with all the toppings but my salad still turned out to be quite delicious. I'm taking one star off because I wasn't asked about my choice of the dressing, my salad was tossed with Buffalo sauce which is not my favorite. Oh well. I will certainly be back and will recommend this place.

Delicious and convenient food that is reasonably healthy too. Good place to go to for lunch if you work in the area. A better sweetgreen.

My custom warm bowl with sweet potato, balsamic mushrooms, cucumber, avocado, chicken, sweet potato, and turmeric tahini sauce
Lexi L.

I ordered Just Salad for the first time ever during my lunch break, and I think I'm in love. I built my own warm bowl with the broccoli/cauliflower rice, oven-roasted chicken, golden beets, balsamic mushrooms, avocado, cucumber, roasted sweet potatoes, and the spicy turmeric tahini sauce on the side. The broccoli/cauliflower rice is a MUST (so good) and I loved this dressing. I ordered online and it said the expected wait time was 20 minutes, but it was ready to go in probably 10 or less. I love the sustainability aspect of this company too with compostable materials! The ONLY reason this isn't getting a 5 star review is because the cost of my bowl was $15.50 after tax (a little pricey imo), and I felt like it wasn't big enough of a portion when compared to Sweetgreen's bowls.

PETITION FOR NANDO'S TO OPEN AN LA LOCATION!!!…read more it's been over a month since i first tried nando's during my chicago trip & i'm still dreaming about it. Went here Saturday morning after the boat tour that's a couple minutes walk away! Immediately was impressed with how clean + nice the dining room was. Spacious & I liked how attentive the staff was with cleaning tables. We ordered family style chicken meal w/ 2 sides of choice (we opted for rice & fries) for a group of 4 & it was more than enough for all of us for lunch. I was really impressed with the variety of sauces they had. I'm a big sauce girl & need it for all my meals, & i loved how flavorful + tangy all the sauces were!! LOVE that there were spicy sauce options too. I didn't have any expectations coming in for the chicken. I know chicken tends to be on the dry side at restaurants but this place proved me sooo wrong. The juiciest, most flavorful chicken i've ever had! It was seasoned very well + cooked the right amount. i appreciated how often the staff checked up on us as well to ask how our meal was & if we needed anything else.

I ordered a Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wrap (Medium). The chicken was grilled, juicy and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and overall absolutely delicious. Affordable and flavorful Indian food (4/5 Green Stars)…read moreBombay Eats began as Bombay Wraps in 2010 and has just completed a name-change and rebranding. Considering the old name, I ordered wraps, figuring they do them well - and they did! I ordered the cheese paneer wrap ($6.99) and the potato cauliflower wrap ($6.49) to go and they were assembled fast in front of my eyes. The server explained that the mild sauce was a 3/10 while the spicy was 7/10, so I went with the mild and I'm glad I did as it had a bit of a kick! The wraps (choice of paratha or whole wheat roti) themselves are delicious and the spicy fillings are nicely balanced with some shredded cabbage/lettuce. For $17 including tax + tip it was a lot of food - a large dinner for one or lunch for two. I highly recommend Bombay Eats for quick flavorful Indian street food and will visit again when I (hopefully) make it back to Chicago. I want to try all of their "messy" sides next. Messy sweet potato fries, topped with paneer, tikka masala sauce, chutney & fresh cilantro? Yes please! I'm also rating Bombay Eats 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Bombay Eats seems to be a well-loved by locals and the owners are known as a decent people. * They have a Bombay Cares program where they participate in fundraisers. Coming up in June - the Alzheimer's Association. * A good spot for vegans and vegetarians. The website has a nice guide (vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, Halal, etc.) to each component (wrap, filling, sauce, etc.) so everything's clear. * The biggest thing that Bombay Eats could do for the planet is to stick with chicken as the main meat offering and ditch the beef and lamb. The environmental footprints (carbon, land, etc.) of beef and lamb are more than10 times higher than those of chicken. It would be nice to see seitan or other plant proteins instead of the beef and lamb. * Packaging for my wraps was fairly minimal: foil-coated paper and a small paper bag.

I added rice, lettuce, and pickled onions. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. At. At checkout, I forgot that I had also so ordered a roti, and that it hadn't been put in the bag yet, so I left. As I started walking down Ohio Street, I heard a woman loudly shouting that I forgot my bread. I stopped and saw the employee calling to me to come back. I did, and they apologized for the mistake; so did I. I wish I had gotten the woman's name because she really went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate that she called me back. The China Masala itself was delicious, but I found the rice to be a bit dry. Also I wouldn't have paired it with the lettuce and pickled onions even though they tasted good on their own. The roti, however, seemed dry to me. Top-notch staff here! If I lived in the area, I would definitely come by again.

Kind of a bare bones place, but the flavor is what counts obviously. The prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing. Cool place literally when getting a bowl of what they put in it. It's got a lot of fruits and toppings to put on. They also have tacos for some reason. A healthy place to start a morning or afternoon. They're also okay at lunch if wanting tacos. It's about $13 for a bowl. Kind of a lot to be honest. I got the Açaí Berry Bowl. This is made with açaí blend, mixed berries, oat milk, and strawberries. This is topped with bananas, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut, granola, honey which I replaced with agave, pumpkin seeds, and strawberries. Has a lot for breakfast and lunch. It's closed Sundays.
