I said if they need it. Evidently it needed it. I saw the technician pull my car out of the bay & drive around to the front so I was expecting to get my car & go. Waiting no car in the front or side lots???? Where did my car go? I walked around outside & saw my car in the back lot. That's when they told me they did the alignment but hadn't done the tire rotation yet? After the alignment they forgot to do the rotation so I had to wait longer @ 11:30am to get the rotation.

At first I'm thinking I'd be there for a considerable amount of time, as four other people were waiting for repairs. The TPMS diagnostic check is free of charge. And a new sensor is just 100 bucks plus tax. That's not bad for the convenience. To my delight, they popped in a new sensor and reset my TPMS indicator light in only 20 minutes! I give the highest recommendation for this store and will be back in the near future.

Later that day they recommended rear brakes to be done because they were at 15% life, which I said let's go ahead and do. Later that same day they said that my front sway bar links could potentially be replaced if I wanted and that it *might* resolve a rattling noise that my car was making. For years my car had a slight rattle when idling so I figured let's go ahead and do that too for ~$500 they said it would cost. The next day I got my car back from them and all seemed fine initially. But when I took it on its first trip of real distance, I noticed things happening with it that weren't previously happening: the front suspension was very noisy, large pop noises were coming from the front of the car often, and the ride quality had massively degraded. At this point, I was pretty mad to put it nicely. It was disappointing to have done an "elective" repair to my car with the sway bar links and suddenly felt like my car was heavily affected in a negative way. Next week I reached out to them after not seeing any of the issues get better (and I would say they got worse) and they said bring the car in and we'll make it right for you, which, spoiler ... they absolutely seem to have done for me. I brought my car in Thursday morning, and later that day Chad called me saying they immediately found one issue with the sway bar link installation that would be fixed. But that the other issues still needed to be investigated. They ended up ordering parts for the car to address various side effects of the work that was done. I was given a loan through this entire process (Thursday - Tuesday) and Tuesday they said come on by the car should be ready. They did quite a bit of work for me on the car during that time frame, because Kyle said they were having a hard time tracking down the actual cause of the popping sound. But, regardless of that, the effort they went through the "make it right" and give me my car back in excellent condition was truly amazing and I might never see this level of customer service again in my life from any other business. Major props for how they handled this and I can't say thanks enough. So far, so good with the car since I got it back from them. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I respect the no weekend hours thing for the employees to have work-life balance, that just means you have to think ahead when scheduling your oil changes, no biggie! The only time I was disappointed by that schedule was when I got a nail in my tire and had to take it somewhere else to get patched up. I appreciate that when I go for my oil changes, they also check the tires, brakes, etc. to make sure that the car is safe. In an "emergency," when my battery light popped on, they squeezed me into their busy schedule and let me borrow a car to get my daughter to and from school. Outside of the exemplary service, I appreciate how Busse is involved in the community. There is always a thank you note hanging on their wall and I know from my daughter's activities that they put money back into the community by sponsoring. I trust Busse with my car. I trust that they are doing what needs to be done to keep the car safe and not have me spend money. One piece needed to be replaced before the warranty on the work was expired and it was fixed in a jiffy at no additional cost to me. They always explain to me what is going on and always answer my questions patiently. As my daughter gets closer to the age of driving and cars, I look forward to her being the 3rd generation that utilizes their shop!

I normally go to other places when I don't have the tools, time, and or knowledge needed for some things. I will go over my first experience with this shop and why my wife and I go here when needed. I had an issue with an oil pressure sensor leak. I could see it, I know how much the part costs, and I know what needs to be done. However to actually access it would be a pain. I called them up and asked them how much it would cost to replace it. I believe I spoke to Steve and he mentioned generally about 200 or so. Now, that would be the case for many cars, but not this one. So I asked Steve if he could check book time. Book time is basically the amount of time, in a perfect scenario, it should take a mechanic to complete a task. They can then give you an estimate with respect to their labor rates. For example if hourly labor is 150 and book time for say changing a starter is 1h, they can say the labor cost will be $150. Steve looks at book time and is surprised because it's higher than normal about 2x more time and was wondering why. I mentioned, that to access it you have to essentially remove a few other components. He mentions, well, you can bring it in and we can take a look. I was hoping maybe they'd have easier ways of accessing it and mentioned I'm going to think on it a bit. I went under the car again and decided, "Nope. Too much work." I called back and setup an appointment. I drop off the car. I'm not happy with where the car manufacturers' engineers decided to shroud the oil pressure switch and essentially up the replacement cost but it is what it is. Anyway, I get a call back and the price I have to pay is essentially 1h and the part. I head on over and am very surprised. I forget the name of the mechanic (think it started with an M) but I asked them, "I'm surprised that you got it done so fast ... how?!" They mentioned they'd dealt with those cars before as they're common so they rigged up/made a special tool to reach in and do it. That was when I decided TrueTech is a stand up place. They could have charged book time and believe me you, I would've paid it. However they had a seasoned mechanic who knocked it out and passed those savings in their time, as savings in my pocket back to me. This isn't just a good honest mechanic being a good honest mechanic but also the higher ups, the managers and or owners. It seems that is their standard too as they've always been pretty booked which says they're more about doing good work in good time and if they make good headway, you may luck out. You may not, their call :-) but again, book time is perfect world setup, not rusted through, seized on, broken off ... stuff. It is still a good way to understand what you may be looking at aside from the actual part. Since then if and when needed, we go to TrueTech and we've always been happy. P.S. Once they have you in their system (i.e. e-mail / phone), their estimates app, progress, etc and everything is great. Especially if you have a smart phone. I saw where someone mentioned they had difficulty with getting a response and I haven't ran into that. If anyone does run into that, call them and just verify they have the right info.

I did call first and spoke with someone regarding the price for a set of certain tires and the cost. When I arrived the dude at the desk didn't honor the price I was quoted over the phone so at that point I should have walked but against my better judgement I paid a little extra. About a could weeks into driving the atlas and then some months I started noticing some real bad vibrations from the front. Since the oil needed changing I took it into my local VW dealer where they did a complimentary inspection and noticed the wheels were not even balanced right but since they charge to much for simple balancing and alignments I took it into a reputable mechanic I was recommended. The other shop also said whoever balanced these tires should be fired or retrained.

After some research on Yelp I found that Tire Boss had overwhelmingly positive reviews for the services that I was looking for and my experience was consistent with others. I bought a car fairly recently and had developed a very slow leak in my front tire. I brought it into Tire Boss where my technician Eric greeted me in a friendly manner and proceeded to inspect my car in a short amount of time. Once he was done inspecting the tire, he explained to me that he found a puncture and quoted me a price to repair it which was lower than I expected to fix it. He did not push for any other unnecessary repairs and I even asked if my wipers needed replacements, of which he provided a detailed explanation of why the replacement could wait with an explanation of when I should get them replaced (when streaks appear). Once I agreed to the repair and price, the team quickly performed the service and I was ready to go -- in and out in less than 1 hour including a short wait. After it was done, Eric proceeded to check me out with an explanation of the services performed including filling up all the tires to the manufacturer's suggested pressure and pulled up the vehicle directly to the door. Overall I was quite happy with how quickly service was performed, the reasonable prices, no hidden fees, not being upsold on any items, and having the same technician work with me from the beginning to end of the process.
