I've been in…read morethis neighborhood for over 20 years, occasionally I will pop into the store because they do have a good selection of items for gifts. Some of their jewelry is interesting, using local artists, their baby selection of clothing, gift, glass selection, and home decor it is a pretty good mix and always a great place to grab a quick gift. Quite a few things are from Creative Co-op with a 30% to 60 % markup, but that's OK. Pacific Cinics needs to make money. The customer service is abysmal. You do not get greeted ever, even if you pass in front of them and interrupt their conversation to walk between them so you can get through to the the aisle. (I was the only customer they were talking amongst themselves.) After being in the store for approximately five minutes, I decided it was time to go. Didn't see anything I wanted. It's sad to have this level of customer service in our town. If you don't care to be greeted or acknowledged, but only watched to see if you might take something, then this is the place for you. If you're Caucasian, no problem at all you will be greeted and treated like a valued customer.

During the pandemic, I thought the store had closed. I was so sad. Maybe they did close temporarily, I don't know. However, I was thrilled to learn they had re-opened their shop on Main St. just a few blocks away! Why didn't anyone tell me!!! I finally visited at their "new" location a few days after Christmas. Azuca has retained the same charm and whimsy that their original store did. It is beautifully merchandised which made me want to linger and look at everything! I was hoping to find some mezuzahs, which I had seen in their store before. Unfortunately, I did not see any. Maybe on my next visit?!!! I'll definitely be back!

I had a specialty vegetable cleaver that I needed repaired and sharpened. It had been used by someone to cut something they shouldn't have and there was a nice chunk missing. I brought it into the store and dropped it off. It was ready in a matter of days and the price was more than reasonable, despite them having to do some extra work to get rid of the chip. What j I appreciate it is that they did the repair in a manner that maintained the integrity of the Knife when they could've just had their way with it. I wouldn't have known the difference. They also have a nice variety of kitchen accessories and I was able to pick up a knife sheath to protect everyone from the now razor Sharp clever. It's nice having a local business that does quality work and took the time to explain my options and what was done. They deserve 6 out on f 5 stars!

He came home with money burning a hole in his pocket, and the desire to own a chef grade knife. So, we walk in on New Year's Eve eve. Yes, you read that right, the day BEFORE New Year's Eve after going from Asian market to Home Goods, and any possible place to find a better knife than the under 100 cheap, not very well taken care of knives that we own. There were many questions, and Eden patiently, and ENTHUSIASTICALLY educated us, for over an hour about knives. Knives forged in Japan by old sword makers, knives blacksmithed by specialty metalists. There wasn't a detail he couldn't say, but most importantly, he was just PASSIONATE about his craft. We returned the following day and bought a VERY expensive knife. It's everything my beau dreamed of and more. And the amount of knowledge he spread in that interaction was something that I knew needed to be recognized. So thank you for that. The person who ended up making the sale was not at all on your level, but friendly enough. Thank you Eden for reminding me of how important it is to work at a job you truly enjoy.
