Wow! This is truly a gem in Los Gatos. But then again I love this city probably because I grew up in the peninsula. Back to this hidden gem. The shop owner makes most of the jewelry and you can tell she loves what she does and it's beautiful. I bought a seashell glass necklace and I love it! The coolest thing is that she carries local artist artesian items. Everything is reasonably priced and beautiful. The gal that works there which she's super cute and has wonderful customer service, truly enjoyed my visit, and the stuff sold.

Cute gift shop. Spent awhile here browsing through everything :) Bought more than few things here. Would definitely go back.

I have been going to this store for years. It's a great gift shop to find things that are unique and off the beaten path. Picked up several Christmas ornaments for the house and as gifts on the most recent trip.

Whenever I see a painting over $100 my brain says "why". Why would anyone spend that much money on art? You could buy every single streaming service for a full year instead. Filmmaking is an art...how could one painting compare to thousands and thousands of shows and movies? I don't know, maybe I'm just jealous. Jealous that a painting can't emotionally move me to the point where I feel like it's necessary to drop $100. I've never experienced that before and don't know if I ever will. These streaming services might be part of the problem. They set the bar so high. I've given so much time and emotional energy to these films and shows, maybe I have nothing left to give these $100 paintings. These movies are trying so hard to make me feel a certain way with their music, filming, acting, and words. I don't want to be told how to feel, I just want to feel. Maybe that's what these $100 paintings are trying to do for me. I need to start watching more paintings. I got to prove to myself that I don't need an award winning dramatic film to show myself I have feelings... I just need to find the right painting. Anyway, I didn't buy the $100 painting from here, but maybe I'll appreciate more next time.

    Grad gifts and cards

Cards and gifts for Mother's Day. There's a huge assortment of jewelery, art, some locally made, and also fun things for all ages. The prices are surprisingly low. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's easy to find this shop across from Los Gatos Coffee Roasting on Main Street.

Excellent gift shop with so much to see and touch that you can spend a couple of hours there browsing all they have got. All is very well categorized by styles or colors but there are so much of everything that is actually difficult what to choose. Tons of very affordable jewelry, stones, purses, paintings. The perfect gift store.

    Holiday gifts are in.

Great gift store for all occasions. The variety and price range make it easy to find the right gift. Unique cards too.

Delightful eclectic gift shop located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. After walking past this store several times and spying unique home decor on display- including cute metal frog with large opened mouth holding utensils- I decided to enter. What's the harm? I don't need to buy anything. $78 later... This shop encompasses a myriad of gifts and cards, many of which are made in the US. The owner sells fun, sarcastic greeting cards by Bald Guy Greetings, as well as more meaningful handmade cards. Found magnetic superhero books for my nephews- including Batman and Superman. And, despite my best efforts at restraint, gave in to buying two beautiful, ceramic signs with meaningful quotes for my wall. They are made in Wisconsin. The owner was nice and friendly. The business offers a 10% discount card for later use if you are having your hair done at nearby salon. Definitely a great shop with a lot to offer. Will certainly return.

The perfect gift! $29 necklace + $14 earrings

The craftsmanship is outstanding -- the design, quality, and attention to detail are truly stunning. Beyond the beautiful final piece, Misha's customer service was just as impressive. From start to finish, he was thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing my idea to life. The entire process felt collaborative and stress-free, and I always felt confident I was in expert hands. My fiancé absolutely loved the ring, and it made the gift incredibly personal and meaningful. If you're looking for a jeweler who delivers both exceptional craftsmanship and top-tier customer service, I can't recommend Vardy's Jewelers highly enough.

We appreciated the help we received from Elena and Darya who were kind and pleasant to work with. However, our interaction with Fanya was off putting and left us feeling uncomfortable. During our visit, she spoke very confidently about the history of mining diamonds in a way that did not align with well-documented historical information we are privy to. The conversation felt dismissive of a serious subject and it made it difficult for us to feel confident moving forward with such an important purchase. When choosing a jeweler for something as meaningful as an engagement ring, trust and transparency matter a lot. While we respect that others may have different experiences, this interaction ultimately led us to continue our search elsewhere. Especially after noticing many of their negative reviews revolved around the owners daughter, this was concerning to us. We wish the business the best, but wanted to share our honest experience for others who are doing the same research we were.

I went here to get a wedding ring because they seem to have not just a run-of-the-mill selection…read more When I saw the ring that I liked the owner and his partner or co-worker both agreed that the ring fit and they said so. A few months later I got married and one day while taking a shower the ring fell off. I went back to the store to get the ring resized; the owner wanted to charge me $300. I went home and thought about... Why do I have to pay if he told me it fit? I decided to speak to him about it when I went to pick it up. I told him that he had previously told me that the ring was a good fit. His response was that he gave me a good deal on the ring. Does that make sense? I mean, maybe he did give me a good deal but what does that have to do with the part where you told me the ring fit even though it didn't? The other part that bothered me was when he told me the charge was $399... What happened to the $300?? When I questioned this, he said the cost of gold had gone up. Two questions: 1. Gold went up 33% in the last four weeks? 2. What does the price of gold have to do with downsizing a ring? To me, integrity is everything. I won't be shopping here again.

Beware and Dishonest!…read more I brought a small chain in and two tiny gold "stars" to convert into pierced earrings for xmas gifts my daughter. I told the repair guy (not Gary) that I only wanted to pay about $40 each for "repair". He took the items and gave me a claim check. He called the next day to tell me they were done. I asked him on the phone the cost of repair and he replied that , "he did not know". Red flag #1. Went into store to pick up repairs and saw repair prices and was pretty stunned given my years of jewelry experience. For a 1.5 inch extension chain that was paper thin gold Gary was trying to charge me $140! I quickly took the short piece of extension off and told him I did not have $140 to pay for that. On the star earrings, the pierced piece he added was not attractive at all and he again was charging me $130 for tiny baby studs that goes through the ear that I can buy for $20 elsewhere. I kindly asked him to please just give me back my stars and my original gold chain and he refused. Instead, Gary quickly grabbed the pieces and moved them behind the counter and said. "if you pay for my work, I'll return your pieces". It took Gary exactly 5 minutes to put the stars on a pierced or post earring as he did that while I waited. And no time to add an extension on my necklace as he used a tiny clasp. My friend Colette witnessed how long it took Gary to place the posts on the tiny stars and confirmed it took only 5 minutes. Gary's attitude and behavior suddenly declined into a threatening caged animal. The fact that Gary would try to steal or strongarm $270 from me for a few minutes of his time and then to withhold and keep my jewelry upon demand is still considered theft. Would NEVER go into this store again.
