This is a fun place to visit, they have an eclectic array of things for sale, from Christmas ornaments and hand fabricated steel art to t-shirts and wall clocks "and even a fossilized mammoth tusk" like I said eclectic. I bought a really cool Los Gatos Christmas ornament $19 and a chicken clock $60 Parking is nonexistent in front of the store, honestly I'm not sure if there is parking behind either. We parked about an 1/8 mile away a just walked to the store. IMHO The last time I visited Azuca was pre-pandemic and it was located on North Santa Cruz St. It was my favorite store to browse through and to get my favorite whimsical socks. During the pandemic, I thought the store had closed. I was so sad. Maybe they did close temporarily, I don't know. However, I was thrilled to learn they had re-opened their shop on Main St. just a few blocks away! Why didn't anyone tell me!!! I finally visited at their "new" location a few days after Christmas. Azuca has retained the same charm and whimsy that their original store did. It is beautifully merchandised which made me want to linger and look at everything! I was hoping to find some mezuzahs, which I had seen in their store before. Unfortunately, I did not see any. Maybe on my next visit?!!! I'll definitely be back! read more

Wow! This is truly a gem in Los Gatos. But then again I love this city probably because I grew up in the peninsula. Back to this hidden gem. The shop owner makes most of the jewelry and you can tell she loves what she does and it's beautiful. I bought a seashell glass necklace and I love it! The coolest thing is that she carries local artist artesian items. Everything is reasonably priced and beautiful. The gal that works there which she's super cute and has wonderful customer service, truly enjoyed my visit, and the stuff sold. read more

We have been here twice after discovering this beautiful store. The ladies are so nice and welcoming. They have a fun eclectic collection of beautiful rocks and interesting things to look at. Parking can be a challenge so try to get into downtown Los Gatos early. Of all the shops in this area, this is my favorite. This store is the perfect place to bring a future rock collector. I had the pleasure of bringing a curious four year old and no one seemed nervous or uncomfortable at all. His unique choices were carefully packed and placed in a lovely little shopping bag. He was thrilled to carry his treasures out to the car and held on to the bag for the whole ride home. He was so pleased to be so well greeted and thanked for his purchases. There's a couple of shops in DT Mountain View that sell crystals, rocks, and other cool, random items, but the price is always so ridiculous it makes me wonder if I'm having a quarter life crisis because I want to spend $40 on a rock the size of a bean. Azuca has way more items and types of items, and their prices are amazing. Cute, small gifts and trinkets for a few bucks, and I feel like I'm just treating myself to something cute without feeling the crisis. Got a special star shaped rock with a cut in it that shows the crystal interior, and a teeny glass hedgehog--all for about $20! Okay, I know it sounds like a lot, but I already know that the prices at the other stores would be at least $20 PER item. Los Gatos is a bit far from home for me, but I fell in love with this place within the 10 minutes I shopped. read more

Whenever I see a painting over $100 my brain says "why". Why would anyone spend that much money on art? You could buy every single streaming service for a full year instead. Filmmaking is an art...how could one painting compare to thousands and thousands of shows and movies? I don't know, maybe I'm just jealous. Jealous that a painting can't emotionally move me to the point where I feel like it's necessary to drop $100. I've never experienced that before and don't know if I ever will. These streaming services might be part of the problem. They set the bar so high. I've given so much time and emotional energy to these films and shows, maybe I have nothing left to give these $100 paintings. These movies are trying so hard to make me feel a certain way with their music, filming, acting, and words. I don't want to be told how to feel, I just want to feel. Maybe that's what these $100 paintings are trying to do for me. I need to start watching more paintings. I got to prove to myself that I don't need an award winning dramatic film to show myself I have feelings... I just need to find the right painting. After walking past this store several times and spying unique home decor on display- including cute metal frog with large opened mouth holding utensils- I decided to enter. What's the harm? I don't need to buy anything. $78 later... This shop encompasses a myriad of gifts and cards, many of which are made in the US. The owner sells fun, sarcastic greeting cards by Bald Guy Greetings, as well as more meaningful handmade cards. Found magnetic superhero books for my nephews- including Batman and Superman. And, despite my best efforts at restraint, gave in to buying two beautiful, ceramic signs with meaningful quotes for my wall. They are made in Wisconsin. The owner was nice and friendly. The business offers a 10% discount card for later use if you are having your hair done at nearby salon. Definitely a great shop with a lot to offer. Will certainly return. read more

I stopped over at this place by accident because I was looking for a birthday gift for a friend who happens to be a fisher Man. Thursday afternoon I rushed into Los Gatos to find a present for my boss. I figured jewelry would be appropriate and in my rush down Santa Cruz ave. I came across this store. It was SO eclectic and has hundreds of styles of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, trinkets, treasures, home goods, ornaments, decor, EVERYTHING. You could buy a beautiful gift for $10 or for $50. There is something for everyone. The front display had beautiful glass bead bracelet/earring and necklace pairs. I was in awe. I walked around the store and picked up several items and thought to myself, "why have I not been here before?" I picked up a beautiful salt water purple pearl necklace with matching earrings, (see my picture). The necklace was $29 and the earrings were $14. It was the perfect gift for my boss and I split it with a coworker @ $25 each. They also gift wrapped my item for free! beautiful wrapping and extremely nice service. Not so secret guilty pleasure of mine, but I'm a huge Pokémon fanatic and this place happens to stock up on Poké dolls, which are hard to find in most stores around here. Every now and then, when I'm in the area, I love to stop by here and pick some up for my collection and as well as check out some of the other gifts and trinkets that are here. Like others have mentioned, the store has quite the eclectic offerings and it is a nice, cozy little part of Los Gatos. Cashiers are very friendly each time and whenever it's less busy, we enjoy conversing over Pokemon (one of them is Level 40 in Pokemon Go. The customer service here is five stars! I had a problem with a bracelet I bought here and called them to tell them about it. They offered to fix it but I had to get it back there for the free repair which took me awhile to get back to Azuca. Then when I finally got there, I decided to return it altogether and get a refund. The lady was so nice about it and promptly finished the return. She made the return very easy. I hope I find something here on my next visit which I'm sure I will. read more
