Do not waste your time!…read more The drain pipe of our washing machine broke and we contacted our warranty company that sent out Patriot Plumbing to handle the claim. The owner, Josiah called me shortly after to discuss my job and after hearing the issue, decided he could upsell me, and my insurance. What is just a drain pipe issue, he tried to sell us on basically an entire new interior for our house, claiming we had moisture throughout the floors of the whole house. We had several inspections done and no other contractor found this. Josiah tried talking us into hiring him for the flood mitigation as well as the plumbing issue, and stated he would bully our insurance into paying for everything, we just have to choose what designs we want. Fast forward a couple weeks, we got the flood mitigation done by a company assigned by our insurance because Josiah was trying to quote them a $100k+ job on what was only about $10k. However, because our warranty company chose to use them as a vendor, we had to contact Patriot again to come back to complete the plumbing claim. I texted and called multiple times but never heard back. So I notified our warranty company who got Patriot to get back in touch with me. However, once I told Josiah that we had gone with another company for the flood mitigation, he said "Well go ahead and go with another plumbing company as well." This is a very unprofessional and unpleasant company to work with! If you are trying to have any work done, he will definitely try and sell you on more and then turn away your business when you don't give him the $100k job.
