When using a company for your house and on maintenance to a major part of your house, you want someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. Very professional team from the sales guy doing the estimate to the installers. I got many estimates and nothing compared to K&J. These guys are honest and need to make a profit too but they are not out to gouge their customers. I got a top of line Trane furnace and decent A/C for a great price. We've been using K & J for several years for basic cleaning & maintenance of our AC and furnace. They've always been very quick to respond and are super friendly. It was time for us to replace our AC unit this time around. Thank goodness it's the beginning of Sept :) Paul who initially came out to troubleshoot and do annual service on the furnace was friendly and explained what was happening with the AC. I had a new air conditioner installed yesterday by K & J Heating and Cooling. This family owned company did an excellent job. That is no surprise because when I bought my furnace from K & J 13 years ago, they did an excellent job then too. K & J is honest, reasonably priced, and professional. I had K&J come to my house to service my furnace after I told them what the diagnostic code was and the person on the phone didn't know what I was talking about. The red light was flashing every 20 seconds or so, and the green light was flashing 4 times. I told this to the person on the phone. The service guy told us that it would be $109.00 service call for him to tell me what I told the person on the phone. He said that there was nothing wrong with the furnace, that this was normal. So, we asked him to do a cleaning instead so that it wouldn't be a wasted trip, he said yes. After a couple of minutes, he said that the furnace was already clen that there was nothing he could do for us. He then told my wife that it would be an additional cost $119.00 for the cleaning. If I could give NEGATIVE stars for this company, I would!!! read more

K & J just installed top of the line Trane AC and furnace units in my home I couldn't be more pleased. They showed up precisely at the prearranged time and were finished with everything in a few hours. They put down tarps to not soil the floor and cleaned up everything before they left. K & J thoroughly explained how to care for our new Trane units, answered all of our questions and told us to please call anytime if we have any problems. My 80 year old disabled mother waited hours and hours for a technician to call back and there was no response. It was 95 degrees and she sat in the heat all day hoping they would call as promised. Probably not the best please to call on a Saturday. read more

I can't believe I didn't write a review for this company before now. They installed our Trane furnace and A/C about 15 years ago. They did a very nice job. We had a new AC/Furnance installed about 5 years ago and began having issues last summer with the AC unit. Although I was frustrated with having to deal with on again/off again AC issues, Linda, Vince and Jeff were immediately on top of the issues and came out to our home within 24 hours each time I called. Their service is incredible and they definitely do not leave you hanging with the problem. K&J was repeatedly out here analyzing and correcting the issues until our unit was up and working again properly. They definitely stand by their product and provide great service. PS. If you call for a Saturday service run then they charge you "weekend" rates for parts. I don't mind paying overtime for weekend labor, but this parts upcharge is lame. Home Depot's price are the same 7 days a week. read more
