I rarely leave negative reviews, but homeowners deserve to know what they're walking into with KK Coatings. My experience was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating contractor interactions I've ever had. KK Coatings caused significant damage to my brand‑new flooring and carpet during a basic interior painting job. Despite multiple reminders, no protective coverings were used, which led to paint drips, smears, debris, and staining throughout the home. Drywall dust and paint were left on surfaces, trim was sloppily finished, and several areas were simply painted over instead of being properly prepped. When I raised these issues, the company refused to take responsibility, dismissed the damage, and even tried to charge me extra to clean the stains they caused. Instead of addressing the problems, they chose to argue, deflect, and ultimately threatened to file a mechanic's lien on my home -- all while the property was pending sale. To be clear: - The workmanship was subpar. - The lack of care for my property was unacceptable. - The refusal to remediate was unprofessional. - The intimidation tactics were the final red flag. I ultimately paid the invoice solely to move forward with selling my home, not because KK Coatings was in the right. I documented everything, and the record speaks for itself. If you value professionalism, respect for your property, and basic pride in workmanship, do yourself a favor and hire a different contractor. There are plenty of companies that take their craft -- and their customers -- seriously. KK Coatings was not one of them. read more

We had Brian and crew come to clean carpets throughout our home. We were set to replace several rooms with new carpet due to significant staining. K&K was able to clean the carpets so well the texture even came back to life! They went above and beyond cleaning area rugs as well. Brian is a very nice guy and did a fantastic job cleaning our very light carpets. The truck-mounted system had a lot of power and suction, so my carpets that looked quite dirty now look amazing. His prices are very reasonable, as well. Many companies tack on an unnecessary extra $25+ fee for stairs and/or area rugs, but Brian provided a very reasonable, all-inclusive quote without a million a la carte charges. I had K and K come top my office because I needed an area rug and some lounge chairs in my office cleaned. From the start of calling I got a really good VIBE from the person that answered the phone. They told me they would be at my office in an hour and ended showing up in 30 minutes. Very Prompt! 2 guys showed up introduced themselves and got right to work. One on the carpet and the other on the chairs. They did a very good job, they were also very quick too. I also felt the price was extremely reasonable also. I set out to paint a small bathroom in my uncles house only to realize there was extensive damage to the wall under the top coat of paint. Talk about DIY (do a favor) project gone wrong! I was under a time constraint because I was hosting a wedding shower for my girlfriend at his house the next weekend.
