I took my Kawasaki Backpack blower to K&M to have the primer bulb replaced on 5 May 2025. I called about two weeks later to see if it was ready for pickup. I was aggressively instructed " when it's ready for pickup we'll let you know". A further three weeks later,14 June, I called again pointing out that they had my equipment for Five Weeks. I was instructed that as soon as the guys finished unloading the truck they would work on my blower. On 06/30, two weeks later, my wife who was in the area went to the store to pickup what should have been my repaired blower. She was "informed" that " we are busy and will call you when it is ready". Today, 8 July, over TWO months later, I went to the store to "reclaim" my blower. I identified myself and then was asked, " blower, when was it dropped off, what brand was it???" I had my drop off ticket/receipt and produced it. Approximately ten minutes later my back blower was brought up front, UNREPAIRED and Filthy with dirt, oil and grease. This was not how I keep my equipment nor it's condition when I dropped it off. It was so filthy that when I placed it in the trunk of my SUV it stained the carpet with oil and dirt. I have a lawn tractor that needed all four tires to be installed, but I needed a service that could come to my residence to do it. I called K&M-the owner advised me that they only do repairs at their shop only. However, the owner quickly told me that they could recommend a very reliable mobile service to meet my needs. Further, she advised me that if that operator could not do it at this time to call her back to help find another. That kind of positive helpful attitude is extremely rare indeed. Had pressure washer for a month. Called, waited and waited longer. Finally determined the problem, ordered part. Part came in, did not repair. Finally picked it up after paying for a useless estimate. I wouldn't bring my goldfish there. Poor communication, poor customer service all around. read more

The absolute most horrendous people to deal with ever. Should definately NOT be running a business. Had a lawnmower serviced there to the tune of $500 and when we got it home, it of course it was immediately malfunctioning. When i contacted them to possibly walk thru the issue and fix it myself or bring it back, i was met with the worst service i have ever encountered. The lady on the phone was sooooo nasty. I mean foul as all get out. i was even prepared to spend more money if need be, but not now. not there. not ever!!!! Seriously everyone, there is a reason that there is nothing but bad reviews here folks. These people should NOT be in business. DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT use this company. Absolutely terrible people. And they clearly don't know what they are doing anyways. BAD BAD BAD business. I brought my Troy Bilt in for a busted cable. They said it'll be 2 weeks before we can look at it. I said ok. I called them at 2 weeks they said 3. I said ok. After 3 weeks they said the parts on "the truck". After 4 weeks they stopped taking or returning my calls after 5 weeks I bought another lawn mower. So not too interested in saving money by repairing my lawn mower anymore. After 6 weeks I stopped by for the umpteenth time late one Friday and they said "we finished it this morning but we were too busy to call". I'm giving this business a 2 because I think the mechanics are ok and if you're a business I think you might get better service. So if you're a professional, this might be an ok place to have your mowers repaired. read more

I am only giving one star because I have to, they don't deserve any! What a terrible repair service. Took my Troy Built trimmer in 6 weeks ago to have repaired (under warranty) told the part would be ordered right away and fixed in no time. Each time I called (they NEVER contacted/called me) I was given a different story as to why the trimmer hasn't been fixed/repaired and now after being told the part was in and it was fixed, I'm told the part is on back order and they have no idea when they'll get receive it. Picking up my trimmer and taking elsewhere, highly recommend you don't bring anything in for service at this place, AWFUL! read more

I had a brand new Poulan chainsaw that ran great but would not hold an idle. I called the manufacturer who stated this was a common problem and it probably needed a carburetor adjustment. They directed me to K&M for a warranty repair as this saw had run all of 30 minutes prior to my dropping it off. K&M had my saw for 34 days (I had called for a status several times only to be told it would be done "next week") before calling me to say it was ready. I was then informed that the repair was not considered a warranty repair as they blamed the gas for the problem. The same gas can had fueled a weedeater, an edger, a Homelite chainsaw and a leaf blower all used the SAME day I was having trouble with the new saw, yet they all ran flawlessly. On top of that, K&M also adjusted the carburetor and charged me for it just as the manufacturer suggested. In the end I was charged $39 for what assuredly was covered under warranty. My recommendation is to take your business elsewhere! read more
