Wow! Where do I begin...This was THE BEST, AWESOME, AMAZING FACIAL, MASSAGE (neck, shoulders, face) EVER! Believe me, I've had hundreds of facial since my early twenties since I come from a family of estheticians and cosmetology and salon owners. I've had from low budget to high end ones (mostly here and the states). I've even worked as a clinician in a dermatology office so when I tell you it's legit, it's legit. Ok, first of all, getting here (if you are from town) is a bit tricky because it's in a new development town home area (Ho'opili) in the border of Ewa Beach and Kapolei not far from the Kroc Center. There are limited guest parking if you follow Google's direction but I believe there's street parking but be careful not to park without looking for "no parking" signs. You will need to enter from the street front as opposed from the back parking lot. When you arrive, check in and exchange your outdoor footwear to an indoor slip ons. Then you will be escorted to their super clean bathroom with lockers and change into something comfortable like a wrap and even a robe if you get cold (so thoughtful, RIGHT?!!!) Before you exit the bathroom, you at asked to wash your face with a cleanser at the sink and given a disposable towel. Then comes the fun part, your face will be professionally analyzed by head and owner Chloe (She's so AWESOME!). She will go over what you can improve on and even check moisture. She also asks detail questions regarding your own routine so you can improve your own personal skincare routine to maintain healthy skin. When completed, she will email your analysis and then you will step into another room where you receive your custom Korea facial experience. I had so much done but basically it's cleaning, massaging (best ever!), analyzing for pore and white/blackheads, laser, then super cool masking, cooling and moisturizing. I was so relaxed and I could feel my entire face glowing and super hydrated like the Korean dramas that I love. When I got home, my husband noticed I had less wrinkles and my skin was light and glowing!!! If you LOVE healthy skin and LOVE your youthful face, take care of them using Korean products and facials. It is worth the money (you receive so much more and it's worth the value). It's totally economical because it will save you from purchasing the wrong skincare products. There are both men and women clientele so don't be surprised. This is the next best thing to going to Korea!!! read more

This is the only place I get my facials and treatments done. I drive from town to kapolei and it's worth the drive. Chloe is very sweet so are her staffs. Chloe is the main person does the machine on me and her aestheticians do the rest. The results are way better than most popular med spa in town by far. Only now I go to facial and treatments on a regular schedule. Great place. read more

Oh my goodness -- an amazing facial. Everything was excellent from the parking, the interior, the bed that you lie down on, and especially the service. The ladies that work here are soooo sweet! I really enjoyed the scan as I wasn't expecting some of the results (oilier than I thought!) and have a good idea on how to improve moving forward. I wanted to love this place like Fivestars, but I guess I wasn't getting the experience that I expected from a spa. I showed up late to my appointment by 15 minutes because there was an accident on the freeway. I tried to call and speak to somebody and let them know that I would be late, but no one picked up the phone for the three times that I did call. Once I got to the spa, I told them I was sorry that I was late. they immediately showed me to the bathroom where I changed and then sat me down in front of the computer for the skin pictures for the assessment. They did not ask my name at all or ask what time my reservation was at this point. Chloe took pictures of my skin and the results were jaw-dropping. I thought my skin was in a good place, but clearly from these pictures and the assessment I had a lot of work to be done my my skin. I really appreciated Chloe going through through the problem areas of my skin, and what my areas needed to be worked on. She did not recommend any products to me which I was really hoping for good Korean skin care recommendations, but even after I finished my facial, no one recommended any products that they sold in their spa, so I was quite disappointed in this. I do like that they email you your skin assessment and pictures. After the skin assessment, you go upstairs to the area where they do your facial, which is not a private room, but instead, the beds are lined up like in a row, and you are in a room with a bunch of other people. The Lady that did my facial did not speak a lot of English and when I asked what she was doing at what product she was using she could not explain to me at all. Another lady did do some portions of the facials also , so I felt like multiple people were working on my face and nobody was telling me what was going on. I did book online to have a facial done with Chloe, but the actual facial portion was done by multiple other people. The only part that Chloe was involved in was the initial skin assessment and pictures. Overall, the facial felt really good And I wish I had known what was going on. Maybe next time if I do try this place again and I are on time I would have a better experience. But from what I'm hearing from a lot of other people, that is the similar experience like a manufacturing-labor line where you just go through the steps in the process and you're in and out quickly. The facial wasn't really a personalized experience. Since you are in this big room with other people, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs the whole time and you can hear the ladies speaking to each other in Korean and it's not as relaxing as I would have hoped the experience would have been for a spa. I hope to try this place again so that I can validate this review. read more

K Beauty Lab has advanced technology that was able to capture my skin and also compare with each visit. This review is based on three visits to K Beauty Lab. PROS: As others have mentioned, the quality of the facials given by the wonderful skincare technicians is excellent and they are very thorough and relaxing. The initial consultation with the in-depth skin analysis was unique to other salons and very educational. I appreciated that they emailed the information to me. Lastly, the salon is clean and professional. CONS: One reason that I really liked this salon is that they did not push their skincare products. However, on the third visit they tried to upsell me an entire product line and quickly added it to the total without my consent. I think it was to show me how much I was "saving" with a discount but I think that they should have asked for my permission first. Also, I did not get a skincare analysis on my third visit. I was expecting a skincare comparison between "now" and my last visit, but they did not even address my current skin status after making me take pictures. It could be that they hired someone new who didn't know how to do it, but if they are going to take my pictures again some explanation is warranted and this service should be consistent. Another feature of the salon that I think that they need to improve on is the privacy of the client. Everyone is privy to each other's consultation in the waiting room. And with the way the beds are laid out, everyone is either two to a room or four to a room with not even a privacy curtain between them. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it kind of is for me. Especially when my facial costs $175 a pop. Because of these reasons, I am giving K Beauty Lab four stars until there is some improvement in these areas. read more

K Beauty Lab has been touted so much that I had to try it out. My facial with Chin (?) was fabulous! I would go back to her again. However I was disappointed with how my facial analysis was conducted by Chloe. First of all I was under the mistaken impression that scheduling with Chloe was going to be special and that she will also be doing my facial. Thus I waited longer for an opening with her. Chloe did a computer analysis of my face and perfunctorily read off the results without explaining or making any recommendation. I could have read it on my own. It was over very quickly and then led upstairs to get my facial, which truly was a great experience. As I was waiting to pay at the end I overheard another staff giving a more personalized analysis and recommendation to a customer. My recommendation: don't wait for an opening with Chloe, but do go and get your facial. read more

I found my new favorite skincare clinic I've been to many medspas and clinics all over the island. I had a few favorite spots in the past, but K Beauty Lab has topped them all. Although I live in Kakaako, the drive out to Ewa is absolutely worth it. K Beauty Lab is comparable to the skincare clinics in Korea. Their advanced knowledge, products, and technology can't be beaten. On top of that, Chloe and her estheticians are so kind and welcoming. I love that they take detailed photos to analyze your skin-- moisture levels, UV damage, wrinkles, etc. Your consultation alone is worth coming in to meet Chloe and her staff. At this clinic, you actually get changed out of your clothes and you're able to keep your personal belongings in a locker with a key (A lot of other medspas don't have this option). I found Chloe a little over a month ago and I already saw her 3 times. I love her personality and praise her for her experience as an esthetician. I can't wait to see her again in 2 weeks!
