I went in originally for a pedicure and then decided I'd like a manicure as well. Well I was a walk in and was seated quickly but during my pedicure my tech was changed 3 times! At that point my French tip looked different from different techs and you could tell they just wanted to get to the higher paying customers/regulars. The way they treated the girl next to me and me were completely different. Now I was quite polite and respectful but that shouldn't be taken advantage of. Do they expect me to tip all 3 techs?! Next my manicure. Should have just left when I had the chance. Requested a specific tech only for her to set me up sitting down and have another girl do my nails while she click clacked on her phone the rest of my time there. So tipping an additional 2 people? 5 people in total?!?! I don't think so. I wish they treated everyone the same. Unfortunately not every customer matters here. So here we are. If you can't give a customer your full time then don't take them. Poor business model if you ask me.

I am now seven weeks out from my service, and even more frustrated about my nails. It ends up that…read morethe tech ground off enough of the thickness of my nails that I now can't get them to grow past the end of my fingertips. They are tearing, they're splitting, and they're peeling...they're catching my hair, and they catch on my sweaters. They are so thin, and any pressure on my nails causes discomfort, and my previously super strong, natural nails are now thin and actually deform when you press on them. It is incredibly uncomfortable. They are still only about a third of the way grown out, so I will be dealing with this for probably six months more at least. There is literally nothing I can do about it. I don't wear gel nails or fake nails because it weakens my nails, so I can't even put anything artificial over my nails to strengthen them. I've just been putting on Sally Hansen Strong as Nails to try and stabilize them until they grow out. I was trying to peel a sticker off something today, and it tore my nail again. I also tried to pry a plastic shaker top off of a spice bottle and it broke another one. I did end up calling and talking to somebody, and they did apologize, and I was appreciative. I've always had good service here, but this is beyond disappointing.

So I'll start by saying I travel frequently for work and have been to MANY different nail salons…read moreand have pretty high standards for quality and cleanliness. With that being said...this is one of the worst places I have been to. I went a total of two times which is my own fault because I should have never returned after the first visit. However, there aren't many nail salons on the island and the one next door was not great either. Over the two trips here are the issues I encountered.... 1. Head lady was very rude! She even told the girl getting a pedi next to me that her eyebrows looked fake and were the wrong color. Who says that to a customer? She was trying to convince the customer to come to her salon to get her eyebrows done but that is not the way to do it. 2. Very unsanitary. I was glad to see that they had individually wrapped nail kits. Except they don't actually use them. They have them in a basket with an already opened pack which they seem to reuse. I witnessed it in the almost 2 hrs I was there. The man also wears gloves....which is nice except he reuses the same pair. Disgusting. 3. When it came time to get the manicure the lady left the pedicure kit in the basket and had new pack in the drawer...except it was already opened? When asked she says she always prepares it for the next customer. Not falling for it. Customers always want to see a new kit opened in front of them. 4. I always get a gel manicure and the quality at this salon was awful! Looks like a child did it. Check out the actual photos. I didn't have time for her to fix them, plus I was anxious to leave but I was so embarrassed running errands after bc they looked so awful and cheap. 5. For my pedicure they used the toe separators, they cheap "disposable" ones. During my manicure she took them off me and put them back in the drawer. In the drawer there were several individually wrapped new ones, however they keep reusing them for different customers. Just gross. They also took the toe separators and disposable flip flips off another lady and put them back in the drawer for reuse as well. How are other people ok with this!? It's not like they cleaned them between customers. 6. On several different occasions I politely questioned their practices, such as "that nail kit was already opened when I sat down...is it new?" Rather than just say yes or no they became very defensive and even more rude. This lead me to believe that they were guilty and just trying to hide their wrong doing. All in all there may not be many nail salons in the island but it's worth it to take the drive. This place cuts too many corners and I'm not risking catching some kind of fungus or infection. I am not even sure how they are still in business.

They did try to sell me on an upgrade, but that's a given at nail salons. I got the organic pedicure which is one of their higher ones. Great experience until the gentlemen began painting my toes. Mind you I was reading my book, so shame on me for not paying attention. But he used a color I didn't pick. I had specifically explained I wanted to see between 2 colors to match my fingernails. Once I realized, I stopped him, it was the first coat. He said that's the color. I explained that it's not either of the colors and I wanted to see between the 2. He gave me a hard time and brought all the books EXCEPT the one I originally chose from. I gave up and just said it's fine, just finish the color you're doing. He finished, only did 3 coats, and 1 top coat. Got up, said, "you're done" and walked away. No fans, nothing. Didn't help me out of the chair or assist in putting my slippers on. I'm sitting in the salon as I write this with a $62 regular polish wet pedicure as he talks shit a few chairs down to his coworkers. Todays my birthday. I'm not a confrontational person. Been doing my nails religiously since I was 23. What started off as a relaxing birthday treat has turned into a sour experience.

His answer to the blood was pouring acetone ... i also thought the price for a regular pedicure ($45) was a little much. Will not be back.
