Yet I always had confidence in my nail guy Duy (Zee) to get the presentation of my nails very neat. And Duy accomplished that goal effortlessly & beautifully. One of My favorite things about Duy is his timing. I absolutely love that about this nail salon. My appointment was at 2pm and I got tips and toes done within 60 minutes. My nails were clean and bare and my toes were 95% clear. Coming from Gel polish. Which is perfect to me. I left at 3:12pm. Theirs never a wait at Hollywood nails. Appointments are well appreciated and RESPECTED HERE. Nothing like other nail salons. Hollywood is a family, and you'll feel it. They know all their customers by name. I decided to bring my husband to this nail shop because I had been here before for a pedicure and had a good experience. I thought it would be the perfect place for him to feel comfortable getting his pedicure while also receiving great service. When we walked in, we were greeted by a woman with the biggest smile. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I honestly thought she was going to be my nail technician, but she ended up taking care of my husband which actually worked out because I wanted him to have the best experience possible. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the moment my technician started working on me, she was rough. Every movement felt harsh pulling, tugging, and handling my feet with absolutely no gentleness. It wasn't just her technique; her attitude was just as cold. I believe everyone has bad days, but customers shouldn't have to be on the receiving end of them. Then came the polish. She asked me what color I wanted, and I gave her the exact number because I had already picked it out. She couldn't find it, and that's when her frustration became obvious. She started speaking in another language, tossing bottles around on the table, and visibly showing how irritated she was. I looked over at my husband and quietly said, "I don't think she's having a good day because she's been rough with me ever since she started." He began paying closer attention and noticed it too. When she came back, I even asked her, "Are you okay?" She quickly replied, "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." She applied the first coat, then came back with a completely different polish than the one I requested. I stopped her and politely said, "Excuse me, that's not the color I asked for. Can you please get the one I requested?" Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she stormed off visibly upset. At that point, I had enough. I refused to let someone with that kind of attitude finish my service. I told them I would pay for what had already been done, but I would not be returning. I came in respectful, spent my hard-earned money, and did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Thankfully, my husband had already finished his pedicure and had a much better experience than I did. Somewhere in the middle of all this, we even had margaritas (ha!) which honestly may have given me the courage to stand up for myself because, if you know me, I'm usually the person who stays quiet just to avoid conflict. Not this time. I'm about to be 45, and I've reached a place in life where I refuse to pay people to mistreat me. If you're having a bad day, I truly hope it gets better--but don't (ever) take it out on your customers. Customer service matters just as much as the service you're providing. Sadly, because of this experience, I won't be returning. Respect goes both ways, and my money will be spent where kindness and professionalism are just as important as a good pedicure. I'm out.

The technician who handled my manicure displayed exceptional attention to detail, consistently checking in to ensure everything was to my liking. She was incredibly friendly and pleasant, although regrettably, I neglected to ask for her name. On the other hand, the technician who performed my pedicure was decent, but I found it unsettling when she laughed while another technician discussed their client right in front of her. Despite this, the overall atmosphere of the salon was pleasant; it's a small, cozy space with a welcoming vibe. Will I return? Absolutely. My experience with the salon IS ALWAYS POSITIVE. The staff ARE ALWAYS friendly, polite, courteous and professional with me on every appointment. I've made appointments with Mrs. Diana (nails), Ms. Mimi (hands & feet), Ms. Tiffaney (hands) & Mr. Tam (feet) who in my opinion are my go to. The salon and restroom are always well maintained. Their continuous efforts to make my time there comfortable is very important to me and that's why I continue to go there. I've been to the salon at 10am when they open and have never had issue with no hot water for a pedicure. I understand there will always be a disgruntle customers who will post something negative but don't let that deter you from trying it out yourself and form your own opinion of the salon and staff. read more

The staff started rushing. While still working on my pedicure, the owner approached my nail tech and asked her to hurry and fix another customer's nails because she knows how to do powder nails. They spoke in Vietnamese (and I understood everything being said...) Then I was pawned off to another nail tech to do my manicure. I did not like that. I asked for round/oval nails and got square shaped nails. She also filed them way too short. The gel polish was thick and clumpy. She rushed on my nails and didn't even do a cleanup around the edges. I was told my nails are done and when I got to the car, the polish started smudging! I can tell it was going to bother me, so I went back inside for a fix. It was a 3rd nail tech I got now. She was sort of rude and filed down the smudged area to apply another clumpy layer on top. All in all, I was very dissatisfied with the service and how my nails came out. My toes looked great and that's where the generous 2 stars came from. Never again.

Yet I always had confidence in my nail guy Duy (Zee) to get the presentation of my nails very neat. And Duy accomplished that goal effortlessly & beautifully. One of My favorite things about Duy is his timing. I absolutely love that about this nail salon. My appointment was at 2pm and I got tips and toes done within 60 minutes. My nails were clean and bare and my toes were 95% clear. Coming from Gel polish. Which is perfect to me. I left at 3:12pm. Theirs never a wait at Hollywood nails. Appointments are well appreciated and RESPECTED HERE. Nothing like other nail salons. Hollywood is a family, and you'll feel it. They know all their customers by name.
