Great fried chicken and some of the best ramen I've had. Staff was very nice. A great addition to Mt Juliet

The website stated they had lunch specials which didn't appear on the menu. I asked about it and the server retrieved the lunch menu which had a number of choices priced at $10.99 each. I had the Soft Tofu soup and chose seafood as my protein. While waiting for my entree they brought to me 4 delicious ban chan dishes - broccoli lightly seasoned with sesame, kim chi, a delicious warm potato dish, and a macaroni salad. There were very generous portions of each. When my entre arrived - a bowl of rice and boiling hot soup I cracked an egg into it so it could cook while I enjoyed the rice and side dishes. I often order this dish at other Korean restaurants, and this was the most flavorful soup I've had, with plenty of tofu and some seafood. There was so much food I had to take some home and had it for dinner. I felt it was a bargain to have 2 meals for $10.99. The menu showed that the restaurant also offers tables with grills so you can have that experience, but it requires minimum of 2 diners, and not part of the lunch menu. I will be returning to the restaurant for lunch and may try the grill option when I'm not dining solo. I recommend this place.

We ordered the bulgogi and prime rib to cook ourselves at the table, which made for an interactive meal. Both were flavorful and cooked up really well. The galbi came which came cooked, was a bit different than expected, and while it was a little fatty and not on the bone, the flavor was still there. The banchan (side dishes) were all good, and I enjoyed the variety they brought to the table. Overall, service was good & attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and food was decent.

THIS IS THE BEST ! If you love Korean food in a sexy and sophisticated atmosphere. Look no further…read morethan this gem! I had a power dinner with a friend who is coming into my business... it was his first time eating Korean food, and Onda blew him away ! We started with a seafood pancake, which we split ...absolutely delicious ~ with a nice dipping sauce on the side Drinks from the bar were very nicely prepared Then we moved on to the best Kalbi I have ever eaten in my life and I've eaten a lot of Kalbi even in LA!! They call it LA Kalbi here. Being a business dinner I sure wanted to impress so I also ordered a plate of beef, Bulgogi and spicy pork Bulgogi both ROCKED ~ all three meats came out on sizzling iron plates All of the sides were as good as anything I've ever had, including the kimchi, which was extra special This is a VERY Classy, upscale, wonderful Korean restaurant with food that is impossibly good ! By the way, it's full of Koreans ..and a couple White folks. so that's always a good sign !!

The flavor was really well balanced! I had just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming, paired with a subtle sweetness that made it super enjoyable to keep eating. It came out on a sizzling plate, which not only kept everything hot but also added a nice touch to the presentation and overall experience. The portion size was very generous, which I always appreciate. I ended up having enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and it held up really well! The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing over the top, but definitely a place you can sit down and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. That said, the experience wasn't perfect. The side dishes were a bit limited compared to what I was expecting, especially if you're used to a wider variety. Service was also on the slower side. The staff was friendly and polite, but it did take a few attempts to get their attention when I needed a water refill or wanted a to-go box. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's something that could definitely be improved. Overall, I'd still recommend Onda if you're looking for flavorful Korean dishes and generous portions. Just be prepared for a more relaxed pace of service. I'd come back again, especially for that spicy pork bulgogi!

When we got there, the waitress was initially confused and thought they didn't have it available, but she quickly rechecked after we mentioned it was why we came and they made it happen for us - and I'm so glad they did. The short ribs were stewed to perfection: fall-off-the-bone tender. The sauce had pineapple which gave some unexpected sweetness but overall satisfied our craving! We also ordered the following dishes: -Jjajangmyeon: we all enjoyed these chewy noodles with black bean paste. -bulgogi fried rice: a forgettable dish but scratches the itch if you're in the mood for fried rice. I packed some leftovers for lunch and added a large squirt of sriracha to the top to spice it up. Cheeseling korean fried chicken wings: I'd come back for these wings over and over again. So crispy and juicy with every bite. The cheese powder was a unique flavor and I loved the savory dipping sauce it comes with. -banchan: solid kimchi and daikon, but we were thrown off by the mac salad. Overall i wish this place had a little more spice in the dishes or at least had a bottle of gochujang that I could add in to my liking at the table. We will come back to see what all the hype is about for the BBQ.

A Neighborhood Gem That Exceeded All Expectations! I've…read moredriven by Mad for Galbi countless times, and I'm so glad we finally pulled the trigger and stopped in. For a first-time visit, it blew our expectations out of the water. This isn't just great "local" food; it's some of the best Korean BBQ and soul food I've had in the Nashville area. The Experience & Service: The first thing you notice is how incredibly welcoming the atmosphere is. The woman running the floor (who I believe is the owner) was super friendly and attentive--she really went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. It's a very kid-friendly environment, which made our family dinner so much more relaxed. The Food (A Total Feast): * The Galbi: This was the star of the show. The meat was so tender and perfectly marinated that my 4-year-old was obsessed! We had to keep refilling his plate because he couldn't get enough. * Seafood Soondubu (Soft Tofu Soup): This was a huge surprise. The broth was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor--honestly better than the versions I get at my "regular" spots. * Korean Fried Chicken Wings: We tried the hot fried wings, and the flavor was spot on. Just a heads up--the wings are huge! You definitely get your money's worth here. * The Banchan (Side Dishes): I love that they aren't stingy with the sides. They gave us a generous amount of fresh, delicious banchan and were happy to refill, which is always the sign of a top-tier Korean restaurant. The Verdict: I'm thrilled to have a spot this good so close to home. Between the high-quality meats and the warm hospitality, we will definitely be frequenting this place. If you've been driving by like I was--stop in! It's worth every penny.
