Very delicious, quick, friendly and fun. Great addition to the area. Give it a shot for something different.

Pure taste wise Mr Sushi falls quite short; the only sushi rolls that we ordered I thought were worth their price would be the Super Crunchy Roll and the Scorpion King Roll, but even those were nothing special. However, as of 3/31/2026, Mr Sushi offers some insane value - on Mondays (and another day) their speciality rolls are 50% off... kind of crazy to be selling these rolls at $8 twice a week imo. Service was average and ambience was fine, nothing much to be said there. 3.9/5

We ordered the miso soup, house lo mein noodles, house udon noodles, sashimi platter, Racine deluxe sushi roll, super duper sushi roll, and Godzilla sushi roll. Everything was okay, not stellar. Miso soup still had some flavor, but not as much seaweed as I would prefer. Usually, I would slurp up miso soup quick, but I was tired of it after a few spoonfuls. I didn't like the eel sauce on the super duper roll and I didn't like the spicy mayo on the Godzilla and Racine deluxe roll. The beef, chicken, and shrimp from the noodle dishes were tender. The flavors of the noodle dishes could have been stronger. Staff were nice. Inside was decorated nicely. A lot of people in this area will probably like the food.

When we've come with friends or larger groups, the service has been much more mediocre. The first time we visited, one of the waitresses was surprisingly rude when I asked about vegetarian options. All she said was "salad," despite there being multiple salads (2 out of the 3) on the menu, including a Caesar with anchovy and a wedge salad with bacon. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and was much more helpful and respectful. I'm not sure why vegetarian requests are sometimes treated like an inconvenience or unusual concept. I'm married to a huge meat eater and enjoy going to places he likes, but I do wish vegetarian guests were met with a little more patience and understanding. Especially when I am the one paying the bill. The atmosphere is loud and busy, but they are generally accommodating. For larger parties, they require a credit card to hold the reservation and give a limited grace period, with a fee of around $15 per person for no-shows. I understand why restaurants have policies like this, but it felt a little unfair considering we still had to wait around 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. If guests are expected to strictly follow time slots, I think the restaurant should also try to hold themselves to those same standards. It also took close to two hours for our food to come out, and we repeatedly had to ask for smaller things like water or hot sauce. I completely understand that larger parties can take longer, but we were a group of seven, which didn't seem unusually large. Overall, the food and atmosphere keep us coming back, but the consistency in service could definitely be improved.

I got the 8oz filet with a side of bone marrow, and boy was that an excellent choice! it was cooked perfectly! Needless to say everyone enjoyed the entire meal. The service was impeccable. Very sweet and attentive! The atmosphere with the low light, candle lit tables and good tunes was a whole vibe. If you are looking for a nice dinner that makes the whole family happy, I would definitely check out this place!!

I ended up coming here twice in two days--once to try the NY Chopped Cheese and then again to try…read morethe Philly Cheesesteak. Let's start with the chopped cheese. As a New Yorker, I was excited to see it on the menu. And let me say this first... the sandwich was delicious. I cleaned that thing up and didn't leave a single crumb behind. The flavor was on point. Here's the only issue: it wasn't really a chopped cheese. Instead of using chopped ground beef like you'd find at a New York bodega, it was made with sliced steak. I asked the owner about it, and he explained that they used to make it the traditional way, but they switched because the ground beef would dry out by the time customers got it home or had it delivered. Using steak keeps it much juicier. I told him, "Then it's not really a chopped cheese anymore... it's basically a Philly cheesesteak." He laughed and said, "No, our Philly cheesesteak uses different meat." That caught my attention, so I said, "Hold up... you have an actual Philly cheesesteak too?" He said yes. So naturally, I came back the next day to try it. After trying both, I can honestly say I liked the "chopped cheese" much more. The Philly cheesesteak was made with Steak-umm-style beef, and unfortunately it was a little dry. It also could've used a lot more cheese (or cheese sauce) to bring everything together. I didn't complain because everyone has their own way of making things, and I respect that. But here's my opinion: if they simply renamed that "chopped cheese" sandwich to their Philly cheesesteak, it would be one of the best cheesesteaks around. In fact--and this is just my opinion--I think it would give J. Michael's Philly Deli some serious competition. At the end of the day, that's just one New Yorker's opinion. Go try it for yourself and let me know what you think!

I don't know her name, but she wears a ton of makeup and has Gray strands in her hair. But she seems younger. I often have to wait for her to validate my existence. No, hello. No, greeting, just stand there, staring out the window, waiting for me to do my thing like she doesn't even want to look at me. The one time I had to wait for her to finish her cigarette break and chatting with another employee outside the doors while I just stood there in a store all by myself.
