We came here because we were craving Korean food and were excited to try this new restaurant. We ordered the most expensive premium option, expecting high-quality meat, but unfortunately, the meat wasn't very good. The side dishes were especially disappointing--they were dry, very bland, and lacked flavor. What made the experience even worse was that it was almost 100°F outside, the restaurant felt very hot inside, too. It seemed like the air conditioning was either barely on or not being used enough, making it very uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Overall, the meal did not live up to our expectations, especially considering the high price. The person who seemed to be the owner also wasn't very friendly or welcoming, which made the experience even less enjoyable. We would recommend 2N1 All You Can Eat instead. Their meat is much higher quality, the side dishes are fresh and flavorful, and the overall dining experience is far better. read more

I know it's hard when you first open a restaurant, however I really wanted to like this place. Our server looked nervous and couldn't answer some basic questions. We were seated pretty quickly on a Sunday. It was my first time trying this spot and I really enjoyed it. I liked the self serve banchan area in the middle. My favorite cut of the night was their beef belly. The restaurant felt very open as well which I enjoyed because it felt more welcoming. The only downside was that the grill kept splashing oil onto the table because it was higher that most kbbq grills and dipped on the side so oil from the meats would pool on the outside rim. I usually don't leave reviews but WOW this place is review worthy! You won't find this meat quality at any AYCE place in socal. Their side dishes are really good too and self serve which I prefer. Personally, I would recommend getting the premium tier. It's slightly more expensive but the cuts of meat like the ribeye, short rib, chuck flap, etc. make it really worth it for me. HORRIBLE!!! Arrived at 5:50pm. Friends were meeting us at 6:00pm. Hardly anyone in restaurant. 6 cars parked outside. Asked to be seating so we can have a drink. Told us there's a time limit at table and they would not seat us for a drink and not without our friends who arrived 8 minutes later. Manager and hostess were DISGUSTINGLY RUDE!!! Told me to sit on a bench and wait. Would NEVER spend a dime here and do not recommend this restaurant. If the manager and hostess treat customers so rude imagine the lack of care and 3rd rate food they probably serve. Ending going to RYU SUSHI down the street. Way better service! read more

This is the first Korean BBQ restaurant we've visited where gochujang was nowhere to be found, nor was it present in any of the food. The all-you-can-eat bar mainly offered Western-style sides, including chicken wings, onion rings, and zucchini sticks. Meanwhile, the authentic Korean dishes were bland and lacked the richness of true Korean flavors. The kimchi was watery and tasteless. The same goes for the Tteokbokki, which was cooked in a tomato-based sauce instead of a spicy gochujang sauce. Among the meat options, we tried the bulgogi and onjingeo, which were decent. The staff was courteous and attentive, but the atmosphere felt a bit stiff, missing the typical Korean music and other elements you'd expect at this type of restaurant. Additionally, the prices are quite high considering the overall quality of the food. I would suggest the owners spend more time visiting other local Korean BBQ spots and work on improving their overall approach. read more

The meat is pretty solid. and it comes fast. I got the most expensive menu and I would say the value isn't really there. They only let you order a small amount of meats at a time. it seems like they try to get you full off of the sides and then make it so that you don't eat a lot of of the meat. Which I understand it it's a business, but they seem a little bit too greedy with this limit, especially for customers who are ordering the most premium menu. The sides are pretty good though. The meat is good, but nothing out of this world or special compared to some of the other spots I've been to. I honestly was going to give it a two or three star review just because I feel like the owners are greedy and I didn't really get to enjoy a lot of meat. However, my server, Christian completely made up for the bad parts about this spot. he was so attentive and kind. He looks out for his customers and he knows how to carry a conversation and he does it real well. I was honestly having a pretty bad day until my interactions with him. We went on Friday for lunch, 1:00pm. We wanted the 24.99 lunch special. We were told Friday is a Holiday and we were going to be charged 34.99. When did Friday become a HOLIDAY? This is the old bait and switch, customers do not like being scammed. Some recommendations: 1. Real ice cream for dessert. 2. Large lettuce leaves to wrap the meat. 3. The salad bar needs more GREENS! Like cilantro, asparagus, broccoli, green pepper, green onions. 4. Offer a Happy Hour, to get more customers. 5. Pickled ginger on the salad bar. 6. A sauce bar needs labels on the bottles. A dipping bar, would be nice. Salad dressing bottle with the name of the dressing. 7. Tea and soda should be included. 8. Daily specials are nice. 9. Senior discounts, 10% off of the bill. A good way to get more customers. 10. CHILI OIL is fantastic on beef and pork. 11. When it is 100 degrees outside, and you have a HOT fire in front of you, please turn on the AC. When I was there I thought I was going to pass out! 12. The salad bar had crispy chicken and crispy pork, that was like shoe leather. I almost broke my tooth. It is obvious it was old and reheated to many times. 13. Highly recommend! Love that you get 3 types of meats every round! Meats were very tasty and I would say best Korean BBQ in town! Our server was Jacob and he was very attentive to our wants! Great K bbq spot! We were in the area to meet with family and they wanted to go have some Korean bbq. I live in Orange County, which has its fair share of top quality k bbq places, but I was very impressed with the quality and service we received here. They have a banchan bar where you can go and just get anything you want (kimchi, salad, glass noodles (japchae), fried dumplings, tempura). They also have their dipping sauces in bottles that you can pour yourself. I believe kids under 5 eat for free (we had a four and two year old and they were not charged) They have a shaved ice machine also where you can add condensed milk and sweet red bean, which was very refreshing considering it was over 100 degrees outside when we visited. The restaurant was very easy to get to (it's right off the freeway). I was impressed at how clean it was. Parking was plentiful on a Saturday for lunch. We were able to be seated immediately, and our server was ready to explain their menu options before we even had a chance to finish seating. There were levels of premium meats to choose from and it was all you can eat. We chose the select menu, and it was the perfect choice as it had steak and short ribs. They let you pick three types of meat at a time, and our server checked on us to see if we were ready to order our next round. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend anyone who is a fan of meat or all you can eat kbbq to try this place out sooner rather than later because i have a feeling they will get a lot busier once word gets out. read more

Even though they're still in their soft opening, everything already feels well organized and ready. The meat was delicious, and there was a great variety of side dishes, all of which tasted excellent. My favorite part was the atmosphere--the large windows make the restaurant feel bright, spacious, and comfortable. Our group of 12 friends all had a wonderful experience, and everyone agreed that the food and the restaurant were excellent. The milk shaved ice(bingsu) we had for dessert after the meal was also delicious and was the perfect way to end our dinner. We tried this place and wasn't impressed at all. A lot of their banchan at the bar and sauces were empty and we asked for them to please refil it. The soup the entire time we were there never got refilled so we couldn't even try it. Meats were just bland. Service was great, our server gave great advice on our selections of meats, they just lacked any flavor. The banchan was disappointing, they had 2-3 different cabbage kimchee, 1 cucumber kimchee, their japchae was very bland, they had a couple other items but the entire we were there they never refilled it. On the way out they had a little table that was make your own shave ice with some azuki red bean and condensed cream, sort of out of place to have that there, but tasted very good. We were very disappointed cause the owners of this place are the same owners as Sura right across the street and that place is AMAZING!!! So I'm hoping they'll get out the kinks and it'll be better next time we go. Again service was amazing, food not so much. read more

i went to their first day opening on 6/23 and i went once again! i have been waiting for months for this place to open since i have loved their other store Sura Korean Kitchen just down the street, which i also highly recommend if you're looking for a good soondubu and traditional korean dishes. the meat quality here was phenomenal! i cannot stop thinking about the marinated beef ribs and the beef tongue! the banchan is a salad bar style where you grab a plate and grab the things that you want, and each side is delicious, from the fried tempura to the pickled cucumbers! the space is huge and open, and as someone in a wheelchair, easily accessible! it is a soft open still, so the servers are still getting used to all the systems, but the service is extra friendly and helpful! will definitely be back often! love the owners and both of their restaurant endeavors! read more
