There's actually a line during the dinner rush especially because folks know what the good eats are. Good option for take out or if you prefer to stay and eat, there's ample tables and chairs to dine-in. I came by on a Friday night around 7:30-8pm and it was very busy. My kiddos wanted the Korean Corn Dogs at the neighboring counter but my other friends ordered shrimp tempura and some ban chan dishes to go. I come to this food court for 3 things-soy garlic wings, spicy tuna kimbab and chocolate delimanjoo (fish shaped cakes). The food here has always been consistent, service is good, and the wings are quite addicting. The kimbab are okay and the delimanjoo are probably my favorite. If you're planning on doing some grocery shopping, order your food first as it does take about 15-35 minutes to prepare. They accept phone and online orders too. I ordered take out at YEAS. Worst dinner I have ever had at any Hmart food court. First, the portion was small. Second, food quality was poor. The squid in the spicy squid dish was cheap. So was the beef. Minced beef was used in bulgogi. I ordered in person and waited twenty minutes for my two dishes. They were carefully wrapped though. read more

After hearing about korean corn dogs from different Youtubers, I've wanted to try them for myself and saw Hmart even sells frozen ones. So when I saw the food court had them, I definitely wanted to try it. We opted to have the mozzarella cheese corn dog and potato all mozzarella corn dog, both with sugar on top. The mozzarella cheese corn dog was 3/4 mozzarella and 1/4 hotdog. I thought it was going to be hotdog with mozzarella all over, but unfortunately it was not. The potato all mozzarella corn dog was very interesting combination and I probably won't try again. The mozzarella was very cheesy and good, but with the potato on the outside it was very messy to eat and very fried. The potato was hard and not like hash potatoes you would get along with a breakfast entrees. The other food I've tried in this food court has been great. The corn dogs just weren't for me. read more

I don't come here very often but on this last visit I made sure to stop by and have one of their Korean Style Corn Dogs. The dog was pretty good, crispy, and the cheese was nicely melted. This corn dog definitely benefits from adding sauce however, since it falls a bit flat when naked. My only other gripe was the egregious wait time. I was the only customer there who placed an order for a singular dog and it took almost 30 minutes to receive it, mind you nobody ordered before me or after me, it was dead. I was standing around waiting for a single item at their counter as the only customer around for what felt like forever. None of the workers even addressed me during this time and they demonstrated no urgency to get started on cooking anything that day. A very average outing indeed. read more

How have I not reviewed this sooner. I've been coming here since H Mart and the food court opened. Through the years, the prices have gone up, but their menu has expanded tremendously and the food has remained just as good as day one. Great portion sizes and while prices have gone up, still extremely affordable, way cheaper than going to an actual korean restaurant and you get the same quality food. It's amazing to me how good each dish tastes. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu, including the fried chicken and everything is good. You can't go wrong! Spicy and non-spicy options, seafood, beef and chicken, rice and noodles. Literally something for everyone. Everything is made to order so do expect to wait. But what I'm really enamored with their new addition of KFC aka Korean Fried Chicken. You have a choice of three. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of the H-Mart food court. Reviews so far seem pretty bad, but I actually think this place is good and a welcome addition to the area, as there aren't any great options for Korean food nearby from my experience. Seating is definitely a big issue, as there are close to no seats available and they get taken up quick. Coming here on Sunday after church to grab lunch is like close to impossible. There are a lot of options and pre-packaged food with reasonable prices. They even have non-Korean stuff like sandwiches and penne a la vodka. As for ordering hot food to dine in, I've gotten the yookejang (~$10) and the kalgooksoo ($11, A9 I think) and was pretty satisfied with both. The yookejang was sufficiently spicy and had a bunch of meat and veggies in it that made it pretty hearty and satisfying. The kalgooksoo's soup base and noodles had a good texture IMO. I'm not an expert on Korean food but both dishes were pretty similar to what I've had in restaurants in the past. Again, prices were pretty reasonable. Would be cool to see even more Korean food become available to Central Long Island but until then the H-Mart food court remains as one of the best options IMO. read more

Opted for the hot bibimbop with squid, which did not disappoint! Hot umami goodness...note though to not burn your tongue :). Seating then may have a 5 - 10 min wait for parties greater than one. No biggie. After shopping for like 2 hours in this Asian wonder store decided to get some KFC to go share with hubby for dinner. Ordered the c4 which is the soy garlic flavor. Wait time about 20 mins but still looked good and crispy after the drive home. Hubby loved it but i wasn't a fan because it was a bit on the sweet side. When the description states "soy garlic " i expect those to be the main flavors. Next time will try the regular or spicy. Overall not one of the best Korean fried chicken or bibimbop I've had but darned authentic and very good to be in a food court specially if you dont want to trek to KTown in Manhattan. I love that there is a Korean food court inside the Asian supermarket. Nothing like getting your tummy filled before food shopping . My regular here is the Bibimpap, but this time we were in the mood for fried food. So what is best than Korean wings?! The wings were huge and crispy on the outside, yet so moist and juicy in the inside! They tasted very fresh! No need to travel all the way to flushing anymore . They have already premade dishes at lower prices if you just want to just grab and go. That's something new I noticed. I also appreciate how they make it so easy to get what you need in case of leftovers and trust me their individual dishes are big enough to share, but if you don't want to they make it easy for you to bring home safely. I do find that some of their broths are on the bland side, but I guess they have sauces you can use to amped them up. All in all, not a bad ride for some comforting Korean meals! read more

Food is okay. Price is affordable. But time takes too way long to get the food. And the server is having not soul to be friendly.

Great place to grab lunch during the day, however, the wait can be a bit longer than expected sometimes for a place that's supposed to be ab it fast food. Also a bit on the more expensive side for a quick lunch, but don't let that deter you because you definitely get a full sized meal with it, definitely more of a meal than you'd expect for a place tucked away inside of an H-Mart. The quality of food is good, though. I've gotten the pork cutlet a few times, and has occasionally been greasier than I'd prefer, but still good. Also came with a small salad and a small soup. They wrap it up to go very well so you don't have to worry about spilling any of it. The tables and the kitchen itself are very clean and the seating area is near the little bakery inside, so it is a very inviting place to sit and eat if you have the time! read more

Always come to H Mart to shop for groceries and I was in the mood for some bibimbap. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap with beef (hot stone bibimbap). Food came out in about 10 minutes accompanied by some miso soup and a package of seaweed. The soup was good. The bibimbap has the usual fixings but lacked a decent portion of meat. The bulgogi was like 1oz and easily lost amongst the other vegetables. Flavor was pretty bland too. If you're in the mood for bibimbap and this is the closest thing to you, it will do, but I would rather drive 15 minutes elsewhere for a better meal. read more

I only tried the made to order Korean food. Have not tried the prepared foods or salad bar. The Korean restaurant is top quality and probably the best Korean food in Nassau since Korea Spoon closed. For only $8.99 I had the Udon soup which was salty but had a nice flavored broth and hit the spot on a cold night. We also tried the classic Hot Stone Bibimbap. That was excellent and only $12.99. If you get to the food court before 7PM on a weeknight you will easily find a table. After that it does get crowded. read more

My wife and I have eaten here twice now. I opted for the stone bowl bibinbap both times and was very pleased. It's served in a piping hot stone bowl that keeps browning the rice as you eat it. It's a classic Korean dish executed very nicely. Wendy had the spicy kalguksu the first time and the spicy beef with rice noodles the second time. Both were excellent. She commented on the spicy beef that if she was banned from getting pho ever again that it would be an acceptable substitute. That's a big compliment! This is solid authentic Korean food in a food court in H Mart, an incredible Asian market that is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Check it out. You'll like it. read more

Not bad... A little chaotic when ordering the seats are not too comfortable and if you sit by the door on a cold or a hot day you get blasted. Some interesting desserts for afterwords it's self serve. Food arrived hot fresh and it looked really good nice meal moderate price there are also some pre-prepare things in the refrigerated counter that you can just grab it's quick and a lot of interesting choices. I suggest eating there before you start shopping so that you don't get hungry and buy more than you have to! Absolute CROOKS! I have gone here many times over the years but after tonight I will not return. I ordered the fried chicken, all white meat no bones. AGAIN, I have ordered this many times for years! They say 20 minutes, ok, fine. 35 minutes later I notice that orders after mine are all ready. So I ask the person for my order. He walks into back, without explanation comes back immediately and hands me a bag. BUT IT IS NOT MY ORDER. It is wings, thighs and drumsticks on the bone. I tell him it is not my order and he says that they don't do "only the breast" (it is right on the menu above his head) and they don't do no bones (AGAIN, on the menu above his head). At this point I am angry and tell him I have ordered and received this many times. He denies it, while standing under the menu with these options. So I say give me a refund and he initially refuses. I point to the menu, I pulled out the drumsticks, I told him I will continue to stand in front of the register until he gives me a refund. When he can no longer take new orders, SUDDENLY he remembers how to do a refund. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. You lost a long time customer because you are lazy and crooked. This restaurant I went two times already! The one food I ate was a non spicy noodle soup and it tastes so good! I think it's called UDON! They really understand their customers. I urge you guys to try Korean dishes and foods that they have! I will go again today and try because my Korean teacher teach me Korean and the owner was nice enough to waive the fee from the $10 with his signature from her! Basic Korean fare could be found in this very crowded at all hours food court in the new H Mart in Jericho. Not not interested in one of their 15 menu items, there's a salad bar. The food is okay, nothing special. The kimchi is pretty spicy and the bulgogi is decent. The bibimbap doesn't come in a stone pot so it gets cold pretty quick. Take your order at the counter and good luck finding a seat. They'll call your number when your order is ready. In spite of the crowd, the staff keeps things moving and prices are cheaper than a restaurant. A decent place to come grab a quick lunch before hitting the grocery store. As with other large H-Marts in the area, this new one in Jericho comes with a food court that serves Korean standard fare (stews, fried rice, bbq meats on rice etc.) This one serves about 16 different items, each a decent size and pretty good tasting. Prices are about 10-12 bucks a dish and the food comes out relatively fast. There's also a hot bar (which I don't recommend) as well as a fried chicken stall and some Korean dessert cake stalls further down. Seating is a bit limited considering the size of the food court but it shouldn't be too hard to grab a seat. It's definitely a nice alternative to the IKEA cafe down the road. read more
