Terrible food, ordered Yugaujung, kimchi fried rice and they all tasted like they were made premade.

Can a single guest cook at the table or does there have to be 2 or more persons?

We don’t have BBQ grills at the tables. All BBQ menu items are prepared and cooked in the kitchen, so you can enjoy them even if you’re dining alone.

Finally! Home grown entrepreneurial high quality barbeque available for delivery and catering in…read morethe beautiful miracle mile Northshore long Island area! Owned and operated by chef Hugh Goldson, this is some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. I love that it's so close to home for me too! Must order is literally everything on the menu. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. Unctuous and moist with very little fat on it. It would literally make a bubbe cry for joy and the recipe. The bbq ribs were fall off the bone and smoked to perfection. The show stopper for my picky af mother was the bbq pork belly bites: smoked and then lacquered in chef Hugh's signature bbq sauce and addictive to the very last piece. The on the bone chicken thighs were also lacquered in this elusive luscious bbq sauce and had the most perfect smoke ring as well when you cut into them. Everything was balanced out by his addictive braised southern collard greens, smoked mac n cheese and smoked mashed potatoes. Usually the corn bread is forgettable but not these! Beautifully balanced between sweet and savory in every bite. Chef threw in a tin of his famous smoked cheezits flavored with his signature dry rub seasoning. So happy for this new addition in the area! Delivery had every protocol in place for covid safety and I cannot wait to order again and again! Eat local! Support local!

They have a beautiful dining patio outside and a humble interior. The bathroom is easy to get to and spacious. Everything is at grade level which is even better for handicapped people. I had a party of six and we sat outside. There was a good mix of shade and sun for those who didn't mind being a little cold or hot. The restaurant was able to accommodate us on Easter Sunday an hour earlier than they originally do open, so we would be guaranteed a place to eat. (Every other option was fully booked a week in advance!) The food was really good. We had a mix of beer and boba shakes for those of us who are sober. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!

Great sushi spot for a nice intimate dinner!…read more The spicy dumpling soup was my fave of the night. All the food options are delicious! It does get packed so make sure you make a reservation

The restaurant itself was cozy and intimate - it kind of gives you a NYC restaurant kind of vibe which was nice to see on Long Island. I would note that it was freezing out and all the cold air came in when the front door opened. This made it very uncomfortable - I wonder how it is when it's really hot outside. Also, because it is a small restaurant, noise levels could be elevated. Spicy dumpling soup - very good but dumpling had no flavor. Probably store bought. Fluke carpaccio - very good. Some shrimp appetizer - shrimp was small and sauce was almost like a curry sauce. I would pass. Sushi platter - very good. Nigiris are pretty small. This won't fill you up. Grand wazoo roll - this was okay, torched squid was a little tough. Isn't she lovely roll - this was okay. Steak with potatoes and brussels sprouts - not much steak but very tender. Brussels sprouts were nicely cooked. Overall, a good experience especially with the service being top notch. While sitting on the high top worked, it took away from the experience. I would get a regular table or sit at the sushi bar. We were also distracted from the cold air coming in that my wife had to wear her coat. If you like a modern take on sushi, I think you would like this place but if you're looking for something more traditional, I would look elsewhere.
