Delicious simple menu of Vietnamese cuisine pho, rice sandwich or vermicelli platters. An amazing discovery of delicious food and boba tea without having to commute into nyc. Large orders take time as it's made by the owner who makes every dish amazingly delicious!!! Prices are reasonable too. Im here every chance i get!

Liked this place, welcoming and Very cozy and the food is good. Is my second time coming here and it doesn't disappoint.

The first thing I want to say is that the food here is delicious, and the woman working at the café is very friendly. The place is very clean. The food was amazing, but we made one mistake -- we ordered three dishes for just the two of us: a sandwich, soup, and chicken with rice. We were absolutely stuffed, but we'll finish the rest for dinner! Thank you so much -- we'll definitely be back!

We'll be returning to Tasty House. It's a small, no frills restaurant in a shopping center in Westbury. There's only a couple tables in the restaurant. Staff is friendly, quick and attentive. We ordered the Spring rolls, Pho Special, Pork chops over rice and Green Apple yakult. I will start off and say everything was very tasty and we were impressed by the homemade hot sauces. However, compared to other Vietnamese places we've dined at in Flushing, Chinatown and Vietnam, the spring rolls were a little small and the Pho broth was not exactly Pho but more like a tasty bone broth. In the end, I'm not sure about the food's authenticity, but we still liked the taste and service.

OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Our hostess (Manna?) was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!

This place use to be pho Maxia. Let's just say I had a hate relationship with the banh mi then. The new tasty house could be under new management/chef. I ordered dinner through uber eats. We got the beef satay pho, curry chicken over rice, spring rolls, and apple black boba tea. The beef satay pho was good, would say it need more satay flavor to call it satay. The broth was good, would consider order their pho special next time. There was a good amount of beef slices and not grimey. It doesn't have basil/mint/cilantro though. It did come with jalapeno and bean sprouts. As for the curry chicken over rice, the husband said he liked it. What he imagined. I took a bite but it was just okay for me. I think it's because they use white meat and they use the yellow curry base. I have always preferred a red curry base so I am a little biased there. If you like yellow curry, it's probably not bad. The spring rolls were small like most viet spring rolls but it wasn't all fillers of vermicelli. It had meat and it was tasty. It comes with nuoc cham sauce (carrot pickled sauce). The nuoc cham was pretty flavorless so avoid dipping in that. I would recommend just dipping it in the heavenly duo of hoisin and sirarcha. Lastly, the apple boba tea was epic for me. It reminded me of real apple in black tea from Sri Lanka. It wasn't fake tasting if you know what I mean. The boba was a good texture (not too soft with some bounce) and they give a pretty decent amount. Overall, we would definitely be back. If pho maxia started to improve the menu as tasty house . If you are new, . Thank you for being a part of the neighborhood!

TIP - your get discounted items if you eat in; maybe also if you call in direct and don't use Uber Eats like us...

So close to being PHO-nomenal! Still recommend this place but PH-rustrated because with just a few fixes, this could be our PH-avorite place for Vietnamese. Ok, no more PH word play... The brown sugar milk tea is very good but it is very sweet and the boba it's a little over cooked so a little softer than I prefer, but still pretty enjoyable because I love sweets. The spring rolls are pretty good and they give a lot of the fish sauce; probably too much. The summer rolls may have been rushed because they were so loose they fell apart and it did not help that the wrapper was sticky. Flavor was good though and while the peanut sauce was a little too runny, we still enjoyed them. Now for the pho. The broth is very good but the fillet beef is a little strange. We usually get brisket or rib-eye so their cut was a little too lean and chewy. But the strangest part was the beef balls. I have no idea what these are. They have a weird fish ball texture and it is hard to believe it is beef, and the color is this unnatural tan color. So SKIP the beef balls! We took it out and really enjoyed the pho because the broth was so PH-antastically PH-lavorPH-ul (sorry, could not resist). TIP - if you dine in, you get discounts on items as shown in picture but it is small inside so it may get crowded. You may be able to get discounts if you call in the order directly but not sure.

Bone from sandwich

Order 2 pork sandwiches and I almost broke my tooth on a bone. Then son encountered a bone in his sandwich, so beware! Taste wasn't bad, although never had lettuce before in a banh mi sandwich before. Also don't order the spring rolls, unless you only want basically no filling in your rolls.

This place has become my sons go to spot. He loves pho so much that he comes here more than once a week. I was actually surprised with how good the food was. The owner is really nice and hard working, this is one of those places that just makes you feel good going to, really chill vibe and great/ reasonably priced. I highly recommend the spicy pork noodle soup, and ask for the green spicy sauce ..

In the same location as the former pho maxia, came Tasty House. I'm so glad a place just as good replaced it! Pho special is always my go to and it did not disappoint. The broth isn't greasy like many can be. The portion size is nice and they're not stingy on the meat. We also got an order of the Vietnamese spring rolls! It comes in an order of 6 and they're definitely good, but unfortunately they're really small. We also got fruit teas: passion fruit yakult with strawberry boba and a green apple black tea with mango boba. Both were really good and they don't fill it with mostly ice. It was easy to order online and they give you 10% off for the first order which was cool. I'm just not giving it a 5 star because the the spring rolls, but otherwise definitely a fan of this tasty hole in the wall.

The food was light, full of veggies, fresh and tasty. Small business owner with a heart of gold. The shrimp summer roll appetizer was so good! This place should have WAY more people in it than it does. I could eat here everyday.

They took our order and the food came out pretty fast. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming since their seems to be a lot of choices. You can definitely ask them for suggestions. Our favorite was the spicy sliced pig ear and the tujia scallion pancake. The noodles that they use was soft but bouncy. I believe they use the same noodles for all their soup noodles. The soup for the noodles was tasty and was not too salty. Parking in front of the restaurant can be a bit of a challenge. We came here right before 6pm on a Saturday and it took a while to find parking. In addition, dinner time you might be waiting 15+ minutes for a table, so plan accordingly. Overall the food was very tasty, highly recommend.

The order: walovi/Wanglaoji (can of tea served cold) Scallion Pancakes, Lychee Shrimp Balls, Beef Soup with hand pulled noodles, special dumplings, Mashed Cucumber salad, sausage, and stir fried beef noodles. Overall the food was amazing 9.5/10 The entire meal was delicious, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the dishes full of flavor. The Leychee shrimp balls were excellent, the mashed cucumber salad was refreshing and full of flavor. All the dishes were seasoned well, the special dumplings were a little over seasoned and thus the 9.5 instead of a perfect 10. The tea was refreshing and not overly sweet it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.
