Got to the racetrack at 2:45 pm and wasn't able to purchase our tickets until 3:15pm. They gentleman told us it would be about a 1hr 45 min- 2hr and 30 min wait. We decided to run over to top golf and eat while we wait... we came back over at 5 pm (1 hr 45 min) and they told us that we missed our time. They stated we had to wait another hour wait (understandable we missed our time).. which was super disappointing but we decided to make the best of it and enjoyed their arcade (more money!!) After about 45 min I decided to check back in and the "acting supervisor" told me it was going to be Another hour and a half. We obviously got upset at this point and the "acting supervisor"- Collyn stated that since we didn't "show up" for our race we pushed everyone back and they were now behind schedule. We instantly got upset because we came back within our stated wait time AND waited almost the extra hour!!! He was so unprofessional and rude we couldn't believe he was the acting supervisor. He continued to tell us we have to wait the 1.5 hr and refused to give us a refund. He stated we could only get a "credit" and continued to be more upsetting and unhelpful. This is not a supervisor! If anything he escalated the situation. He actually proceeded to go and hide in the back.. this is when the associate, Jackie (male) came in and was SO nice. He apologized, gave us a refund and continued to talk to us.. THIS IS A SUPERVISOR! He didn't give us what we wanted (to race) but at least he was professional and understanding. Long story short, I don't recommend coming here. Long waits, staff doesn't seem to care or move at a fast pace... My dad drove 1.5 hrs to get to the track and we NEVER got to race- Super disappointing! **In regards to the managers comment- like I stated my dad does not live in the area and drove 1.5 hrs to come here with my brother and I. So suggesting to come during the week is not an option I also notice that this is a trend in a lot of people's reviews. Might be something to consider? Also, we came back in the estimated time frame! THAT is what is disappointing!!! You expect people to sit and wait 2-4 hrs with only a minimal arcade that is overpriced? Might need to be much more accommodating in the time frame and when people come back. When we came back we were told since we missed our time we would have to wait ONE more hour... we waited that additional hour and wasted money at the arcade... checked back in and was told ANOTHER 1-2 hrs. Many words were said to get the refund. Your "acting supervisor" refused the refund and another associate is the one who stepped in and made it right. HORRIBLE I WILL BOT RETURN. Order 4 pizzas and didn't get the kinds i ordered. Payed 18$ per pizza that was 8 slices...ended up being the size of a small personal pizza cut into a ton of tiny pieces. Tastes like microwaveable pizza yet still took over an hour to get. Very over priced food. Awful customer service. Staff was extremely lazy. I didn't see them sanitizing any carts or helmets. Edit: As the person asked, I did email them, but in the email they asked me to call them, I replied saying all communications could be done over email and I never got a response. Even the district manager has bad customer service. When we arrived we were told 45 minutes to wait. After an hour I asked again and they told me 45 minutes. Then my husband asked and all the sudden it was 20 minutes. Then we're told a larger group paid $700 to have the track blocked for hours. Which would only be fair to tell us when we walked in. Instead of lying and saying it would be 45 minjtes From the time we walked in the door to the time we raced was 2 hours. The entire staff was unprofessional, no one could give us answers. Just had my 15 year old sons bday party here. What a great experience. A pat helped us out with what was needed and all the kids had a great time. Clean track and facility. The carts are well maintained and go pretty fast. The staff is really friendly and awesome at giving helpful suggestions on how to make your track times better. They also do a great job of making sure everyone is safe on the track. They get busy on weekends so it is best to call ahead of time to see what the current wait times are so you are not surprised once you arrive. Even with a wait it goes by fast because you can watch the races ahead of you and see what people do right and wrong on the track. They also serve food and drink, but obviously won't let you race after you have alcohol. I find myself going back time after time. It does become addictive. read more

Lack of leadership, organization and enthusiasm everywhere. Customer service is embarrassing and the check in structure is weak to say the least. After standing in line for 20 minutes (three groups of three in front of us) just to be told that we need to create a profile then stand in line that now has 23 people in it. Then the manager frantically comes to the front counter to announce to the already impatient group waiting to pay for races that it'll be 2.5 hours from the time they check in until their race. A some sort of display to guide guest to check in or create a profile would be helpful, race stats/ race heat numbers/ time till heat X starts. I don't think this was a poor experience just because it was a Saturday night. Judging by the condition of the restroom I believe this lack of leadership and pride is an ongoing problem. read more

This was so much fun! We had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. My only suggestion would be to have the option to race with just the group you came with. There were 5 of us and they put us with another group of 4. The problem with this is that everyone has different race decorum and we ended up having a few mishaps causing myself and one of my friend's to spin out because the people we didn't know kept bumping us. , which is against the rules. It was a little disappointing and annoying but overall it wasn't enough to make me feel like this was a waste of time...it really was an excellent thing to stop and do while we were in the area. read more

I've done this twice now and have a couple of observations. #1. This is a fun activity, but is over really quick. 2. I know the place is new, but the check in process needs some real improvement. The last visit, there were three people at the front, two on the concessions stand and one checking in people and explaining how it works and trying to upsell. 20 minutes to check in is too long!!! An hour wait for a 10 minute ride, well, that's pushing it for me. #3. efficiency in keeping the track running is something they could work on. Get the next race out there so that your turn time is a bit quicker, but maybe that will come as they get it figured out. #4 Turn the volume down in the main area so you can better understand when you call people to the track. My first race was with a full complement of racers. It gets crowded and passing is difficult, so don't expect stellar lap times. Second time was with 7 cars on the track. That was a lot of fun, but obviously going faster means the ride is over sooner. Those carts really get moving. It's fun to test your skills. No spinouts on the second run and no hitting the barriers. This is a great activity. Best deal would be to buy multiple rides. I think you can carry them over. Try to go when it isn't busy to get the best experience. read more

Went to race as a family and we were told my son who was taller than the measure required height that he was still to small?!? Not really sure what to do or say as it was really a power trip in my opinion. There was a group of young adults 18-23 who were the same size as my sons and they were allowed to race?!?! We stopped on the way out with the group and yep same size. We are taking our money for 4 people 3 race package each to the other kart place on weds when they open. K1 is great! We got our son the 1 on 1 lesson for his birthday and first time in a go kart. Nate, the instructor, was amazing, low pressure, patient and very fun. He had our kiddo going flat out by the end of the time, and he can't wait to go back. It was well worth the money and the lessons are done prior to the general opening, so it's like having the place to yourself. We stuck around and had more races once they opened and getting a chance to immediately apply what is taught in a real race is a fantastic experience. read more

I would have liked to race here but they make it so hard to figure out. First tried to do a group reservation (Courtney in corporate office is great) but need a minimum of 8, which was not doable for us during COVID. The other option I think is walk in. Tried to reserve online. Webpage was broken. Tried calling but it rang and rang. Left a message but no return. Drove 30 minutes with kid (10th birthday), got in line. Then was told to get out of line to fill out forms. Another family got ahead and got in kid's race. They were rude and told us we had to wait two hours, which we could not do. As I was looking for new things to do with my team at work, we set our sights on K1 speed. I know it is newer to the area and we had already been to Top Golf, so thought hey why not. I had not actually been to a K1 before. First impression walking in, is that they take this seriously and are professional. The person who greeted us at the counter Jasmine was very courteous, friendly and made the process for all of us (first timers) super easy. Generally when you go into these types of places, sometimes you are made to feel like you should already know what you are doing, but Jasmine did not and I can appreciate that. So after that great first impression we get to the track and are given great instructions on how to race. We had a blast and will return. Highly recommend for team events and that you make a reservation if possible. read more

Left message for a return phone call as instructed left phone number no call no message left that they returning plus email with no response to try and make a reservation for my 4 grandson's. Live not far from establishment really wanted to treat the boys. They went about four weeks ago were turned away no reservations there 14-15 years old didn't realize they needed a reservation no-one offered to set them up with an appointment for later or a different day. They are not adequately cleaning the helmets. They appear only be relying only on the hoods for 'infection control'. There's a spray of some kind next to the helmets, but the outside of the helmets are gross with greasy handprints. The staff is ok. They don't excel at customer service, but it's adequate. I'm shocked how this place handled my nephews friends birthday. All 18 year old, smart and responsible kids. Take a day off basketball practice to drive an hour to get there and the way the staff behaved is pretty horrible. We came in person reserved spots to do the racing. They said 3 hour wait and we were fine with that. We ate at near restaurant and waited 2-3 hours for a call. Never got call we came back they told us they called us 4 times. We never got the call because they had written the wrong number down. This place sure is very slick and modern-looking. Everything all looks very high-tech and such but it really takes the fun out of the whole racing experience. I brought a group of kids to this place. It's not cheap. It was on a weekday so it wasn't that busy. Had to pay for a few kids and was a little sticker-shocked.. I mean this was go-kart racing. But I guess it's nicer than some other establishments so, I was willing to go along with that. With the payment for 4 tweener boys, you get this balaclava/liner for the helmet. We lined up to get helmets. Even though this place had someone walking around wiping down tables (kind of silly since it was pretty quiet and no-one was eating) in a bit of Covid theater, not once did I see the helmets being sprayed or UV-lighted or any other means of disinfection. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any obvious process to my eye, for the disinfection of the helmet. I mean really, come on, are you more likely to catch something from a table that very few people are actually using, if at all. Or from a helmet in which people are breathing in and out of all the time??? Then the boys finally got to their cars. They were in a mixed group of people. It was obvious that some of the people in their group had been racing before. Some of the kids in my group were not great drivers. It was their first time. Some spun out or hit each other. But I guess that annoyed the race proctors enough or the people who were there trying to set course speed/time records. So they pulled our group of kids out, made them wait and then out them in the little cars. Pretty humiliating. This is a racing track built in a freaking warehouse. It's not real. Kids are supposed to not be great drivers. Part of the fun is to make mistakes and giggle about them. This place just sucked all the fun for the benefits of the "serious" drivers. Like really? You're an adult that squeezes into a go-kart so that you can pretend you're the incarnation of some famous Formula One driver and now you're annoyed that some kids in the same go-karts are puncturing your sad little dream bubble? So we tried to visit, but we're not successful in getting in. I had a couple concerns during my experiance, both of which affected my review today. The first was the level of service offered by the minimal staff on duty. The three employees working were heads down focused on the guests in front of them. When one did break away, they simply yelled at the line of people to say it would be a two plus hour wait and then went back to the line. I walked towards the back with my son to see if there was anyone to answer questions as it was my first visit. As I was in the arcade area, another employee walked out of the doors (between us) and nearly ran over my 11 year old son. He never slowed down to apologize or excuse himself. Just walked towards the track. This brings my second point to light, which is that they appeared to be extremely under staffed for a Saturday. There was literally no one available to answer general questions and those employees they did have all appeared to be high strung and stressed with what they had going on. It was certainly not a great first experiance. I'll be sure to update my review if I decide to give them another chance. read more

Don't get me wrong, the electric karts are pretty good. But the customer service is a joke. The only time you get a response to any sort of review is if you post it online. The first time I took my daughter there, they let me pay for races not even telling me that her and I wouldn't be able to race together. So my daughter was left to race by herself with no instructions. Keep In mind the how much I just paid. The time I took my son in to race I knew he'd be close to the height requirement. He measured out at 49", and their requirement is 48". So they kart checked him and said he doesn't fit. Why have a height requirement if you're not going to have karts to meet peoples height. Either change the requirement or setup the kart to fit people that are 48" like to require. I would recommend to future patrons to save your money and go over to sykart where you get more bang for the buck. K1 is a total joke read more

They advertise "racing" but when you and your friends spend a *buttload* of money for a *private* racing group, they don't let you actually race, they kill the power to your kart to let people behind you pass you. The people working there aren't even into racing, the "steward" even said that he's into baseball and didn't know what I meant when I asked if we were going to be rolling started or grid started. I will never spend another dollar there, and neither will any of my friends, and neither will anyone else that I know. I'd give zero stars if it were possible. None of us are happy with the very expensive "racing" experience we had. Don't waste your money there expecting to be able to actually race with your friends. read more

Bought $55 package as birthday gift and kiddo absolute loved it. No smelly gas here is #1 reason. Either we were lucky or went at the right time. Not only that we waited only 10 minutes to start junior race, the guy at the track were pretty kind while he went over the rules. Junior race is not as fast as adults and the kart is a little smaller so that means dad and son can't race... a little disappointed but it makes sense. When we wanted to do it again it's was about an hour wait so we left. However there are arcade you can play while you wait, or eat/ drink. If you have kids just think about the right time for them. Waiting could be long if you go when people get off work or weekend. read more

Track staff are great at explaining the rules of the track and how to work the supremely fast top of the line electric karts for your 12 lap race. The races are pricey as it is and paying $2 a lap for golf cart speed is a ripoff. Maybe group the people who are comfortable driving the track at full speed separately from the fully grown adults who very very clearly aren't?
