I stumbled across this spot on instagram. Honestly the drinks caught my attention lol, Im a boba girly the luxury pedicure was amazing. Kim didn't a wonderful job and i can not wait to come see her again in a few weeks. It is connected to a boba spot. I don't even know where to start... my wife comes to this place specifically with VAN. I am very upset that I had to find out that my wife's nail tech VAN had hit our daughter while my wife was using the restroom all because my daughter which is a kid was looking at and touching her jewels. My wife comes out from using the bathroom to finding our daughter shaking and crying. Once my wife asked her what was wrong, she mentioned that VAN had smacked her hand.. mind you us as parents we don't believe is hitting our kids , so what in the world made this VAN lady think it was okay to hit MY kid?!! I get my nails done literally once or twice a year on special occasions, my birthday or Christmas/New Year and I always go to my girl Van. I show her what I want done and she gets it done and on many occasions, made it better than the original idea and I always leave happy. I hate those thick looking nails but Van makes it look thin and very natural and shaped down evenly. And she's quick! It's almost my birthday in a few days so I am due for another new set and I can't wait to see what she'll do for my birthday nails! Right now, she's only taking appointments so you'll have to text her to set that up. Promise she'll take care of you like she's done for me the last couple of years. I just have to say, I have been faithful to another nail salon since I moved to San Jose but when they could no longer consistently give me what I want (my nail tech isn't working there currently and the person who did my nails last couldn't gave me square nails when I said coffin) I had to find a new place. I am BEYOND pleased with this nail salon - so much so that I was texting my friends and in-laws about it while I was sitting in one of their chairs. For reference, I did call ahead to book an appointment and was running 10 mins late (I did call to update / let them know) so I didn't mind having to wait a few more minutes when I came in. After all, I was the one running late. Upon sitting in Nancy's chair, I let her know my expectations of my nails and told her how I was so disappointed in how my nails turned out the week before (from a different nail salon). Not only was she able to fix the shape of my nail but she also somehow was able to fix the gradient color change / ombré. The yellow definitely pops out a lot more than when I had originally came in and I absolutely love how my nails look now. Nancy also thinned out the acrylics to my liking, and believe me, when I came in, they were so thick I actually got them stuck in a keyboard prior when I was typing at my computer. Super, super thankful for her speedy and amazing work. Oh, also for reference, there's a boba shop connected to this salon. It's not inside the salon. They share a wall / doorway. You can order boba while you're there and have it brought over to you or you can go into the store and purchase it yourself, before or after your nail appointment. Just a heads up, K3 Nail & Spa is cash only. There is an ATM inside that charges $0.25 to withdraw cash. There's also a Chase bank down the street. read more

The 3rd time, I went in for just a polish change on my nails and a polish change on my feet. I specifically wanted to use the DND brand this time because im more familiar with their products....I was short on time and only needed a polish change due to the orange polish peeling twice. I asked Van why did she think that my nails were peeling, because I had never had that experience before and she said she didn't really know but she was going to contact the nail polish distributor and let them know that this is an ongoing problem with their product. That kind of made me feel like if you knew that this is something that happens with this particular product, Why would you keep putting it on people? Started my journey to grow out my own nails with an acrylic over lay. Now to start I've gone to the same nail tech for the last 9 years but I've been wanting to try somewhere (not for any particular reason) so started looking in my area and came across the cutest place the staff is great and so welcoming I went on a Saturday early afternoon and I was seated right away didn't even have to wait . They gave me a complimentary, cute fruity drink which was super tasty. This photo is of my second set after going here and I must say I am super satisfied. The nail tech handled with care and was so sweet and very talkative. My first set here lasted me about three weeks. First time I've been here. Everyone was very nice. I was disappointed in a couple of things. When I was getting my pedicure the timer was started before the actual massage. As soon as my massage started I started to time it. And it was only 3 mins when it was supposed to be 6. When I moved over to get my nails done I was talked into getting dipped Instead of gel? I don't know much about either. But it cost $60 but did not include a massage or trimming of skin around the nail / cuticles. A regular mani would be cheaper. But we'll see how they look in 2 weeks. Not till I left did I realize there were a few issues with my nails. I was in a hurry to leave for an event. I will give this place another try. Came in today with no appointment, only a 15 min wait! New location with beautiful interior. Walked in and was greeted from the nice ladies. I believe the lady who did my nails was Van. She did a wonderful job on my nails at first but when I left the shop I noticed she missed a spot on my pinky finger. My set came out to be $90. I heard a lot of good things about Van so I decided to make an appointment with her. The nails look fine but nothing special. A few of the acrylics were filed crooked but I can look past that. The worst part was that she cut me twice. She was really rushing at the end when she cleaned my cuticles & she cut a small piece off the side of my finger and also made my cuticle area bleed. I also noticed she did not switch out or sanitize her tools for the client after me so that was a little concerning, especially since I just bled in them! Overall, not a great experience.
