Just like many of you reading this review, I placed a few items in my cart and let them sit there for a bit, adding more items and taking some out. After a few hours of thinking about the order I was about to place, I finally committed and ordered them. One of the parts ordered is the Ultimate Performance Primary and Secondary cat kit. The shipping price was reasonable and actually came fairly quickly. I went to work so I could install them; taking the old ones out is certainly easier than installing the new ones that I had just ordered. Luckily, I am a Kia Certified Master Technician, so I have all the tools and a lift at my disposal. Needless to say, after trimming the driver side secondary pipe about 2.5 inches and modifying one turbo exhaust nut to fit it, it has been installed. I am very pleased with the quality of the stainless steel used as well as the quality of the welds. I should also mention they sound great, and I can't wait to get the cat back installed next. A few days later, I received an email from the K8Stinger Store to leave a review about the parts I had recently ordered. Instead of leaving a review at that moment, I decided to draft an email to the company explaining my experience with their direct bolt-on kit. I kid you not, literally 3 minutes after sending that email, I get a call from the K8Stinger Store. In fact, the owner of the company reached out personally to investigate what had happened with my order. After a pleasant and lengthy chat, it was agreed upon that in fact, I had placed the order for an AWD kit and not the RWD kit, which is the one needed for my application. Not only did he go into detail about how the site mechanics work but also was able to give me statistical data of how many units were sold, zero returns, and where and how they are made. I was even given contact information for the facility that produces this kit. At the end of the day, I learned a valuable lesson. Always double-check before you check out. Also pay attention to those follow-up emails from companies which also show the contents of your order. I had about 3-4 chances to catch my mistake before it shipped, and I didn't fully pay attention. I was also given an option to return the product so that I could receive the correct one I needed as long as they were not installed. Being as I have already installed them and plan to add the cat-back system in the rear future, it was not a big issue for me to keep the AWD kit, and I was able to make those slight modifications and make everything work out. I can say this is a first, where I have sent an email to a company expressing concerns or issues with a product, and the owner personally reaches out to rectify an issue. I've placed a lot of orders with K8. The vast majority processed as you would expect. Product ordered, product delivered, product installed, everything is great. Two orders though did not follow form; how these played out exemplify why I love K8 and why I think they're the absolute best place to shop for Stinger parts. On the first order, I purchased the wrong part. Once I recieved it and realized my error, I went to the site and ordered the correct part. I then contacted K8 to find out whether and how I could go about returning the wrong part and mentioned that I had already ordered the correct part. I wasn't expecting him to grief me for not contacting him first. He was annoyed with me because how I handled it meant he couldn't refund me as much. ...wait, what?!? Yup, i made an error and he was annoyed that he couldn't get me the best refund. Amazing. The second order was one that arrived late and broken. I had already contacted him because of the delay to let him know I thought the item might be lost. He advised the manufacturer of the potential issue and let me know it was still within the normal post-COVID19 delivery window. Sure enough, it arrive. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged. I sent him a note (early on a Saturday afternoon) to let him know and included some pics of the damage. I wasn't expecting a response until normal CA business hours on Monday, but this joker...he responds in 11 minutes that he isn't happy with the situation and is going to work with the manufacturer (shipper) to make things right. Sure enough, the manufacturer jumped into the conversation, validated the damage, and set about making things right. I have other companies I've shop with that can't update their website to show what's actually in stock. Others can't be be bothered to let me know when things ship; I just have to hope thing's will arrive sooner or later. Still others can't be bothered to respond to order status requests for products ordered back in December that still haven't shipped (looking at you @ADROUSA, a company you should 100% avoid...they're very responsive, until you order anyway. Then you get no product and no response to requests for status, and no refund when requested). David though...this dude always has his website up-to-date, goes above and beyond to take care of his customers, promptly responds to order inquiries (even when prompt responses aren't expected), and takes care of customers when things don't go right. How a company handles things when something goes wrong is, in my opinion, the ultimate test of a company. Based on that, K8 and David deliver with perfection and have definitely earned my continued business. I would recommend K8 to anyone looking for Stinger parts. read more

When i first bought my 2021 GT1 the service manager at the Kia dealership owned a 2018 GT2. While i waited for my keys we started talking about different mods, websites, forums, etc. he was giving me the lay of the land which i really appreciated seeing how i was a new owner. Flash forward 7 months and i gotta say... two of the most comforting feelings I've ever experienced when owning a car are.... 1. finding out there is a community of owners like those of the Kia Stinger. His site not only has every thing you could ever imagine adding to your car but on top of that every product has a detailed description of what the product is, how it works, and typically what the result of adding that product will be. He also includes a link to a video or video(S) for each product that consists of a customer who has installed that specific part/product themselves so you get a visual step by step and not just an instruction manual BUT on most products you get both a video(s) and a pdf instruction manual. If all else fails you can just shoot Dave a message and he will provide all the advice and information that you need. If i dont go on the stinger forums to ask a question, ill shoot Dave a message. I trust his word 1000% whether bad or good. He shoots you straight and never tries to upsell just to bring in business. If a product isn't good enough for his car, you wont find it on his site but if for some reason there is a product with an iffy history, he'll warn you. Ask him anything. Literally anything.... Ask him "how do i make my car work" and I bet he'll respond with a detailed response explaining how to turn your car on and put it in gear. At this point most would think there isn't much more a dude could offer. Not Dave. Shoot him a message and if asked he'll provide you with whatever deal or discount he has available. First off I never leave reviews for company's and I think a lot is due to the fact that some part of the process wasn't great, BUT in this case of dealing with k8 stinger store I HAD to leave a review because companies like this don't come around everyday anymore. I ordered exhaust for my 2023 kia stinger and was constantly given an update for my order and when I asked a question I was answered very fast and was very lucky to have dealt with David, he answered every question I had very professionally and quickly. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome by David, at the sales counter counter. I am new to modifying cars and he patiently walked me through the process of putting on my new emblems. Wow! This company is everything you could want and need for your stinger parts. They have amazing customer service and great delivery times. When I say amazing customer service, I mean AMAZING. I recently just bought some downpipes for my car and didn't see that there was a waiver that I needed to feel out for them to be shipped. The customer service with this company is amazing. My HKS BOV was set to ship when they received the wrong flanges from the distributor for my car. This obviously delayed me getting my package when I anticipated getting it. David made it right and did overnight delivery w Saturday delivery when the correct flanges came in.
