My niece not only has me taking her here, but also about three other family members. All staff encounters have been friendly. My only thing is that the pictures on here from Petco advertising is a little misleading. The pictures they show seem to be for a bigger Petco location, and this location just doesn't seem to have all the features the pictures on their adverts show.

It's small, but has a great assortment of exotics including frogs, lizards, snakes, and tarantulas. I didn't find what I was looking for today, but I talked a lot to the owner. He was very friendly and informative, and it was clear the store takes good care of the animals, which mostly come from local breeders. It was nice being able to easily see all the tarantulas and not worry about their health because they had appropriate housing. Plus they were labeled with both their scientific name and their common name, which is always helpful. Great shop. I'll be back.
