Ordered for the First time on Line for pick up the next day. I was really excited because we always eat here and enjoyed the Food and more so even after awhile of not passing by the restaurant. The order Menu on Line was pretty straight forward for catering items as I was having a gathering at home until I picked it up the next day. Ordered the catering Menu of chicken with Rice and salad along with hummus and another beef that said catering beef but no sides with it. This is for a party of 6-8. The beef that was presented was an entree not catering portion which the hostess claims Its what i ordered but on my receipt it says catering beef not beef lunch special and there are two to choose from. I paid for the catering but received the other. She was arguing with me that I was wrong when I had reciept to prove it. She also said I should be looking at the price of the item not the name of the item when ordering! Its actually deceiving. I got the chicken kabab lunch special, a solid high-protein anchor for the daily grind. The charred meat and massive rice portion are the only things grounding my physical form right now. I think the sauce they use is really good and makes everything even more savory. The indoor ambiance is pretty good but the outdoor area isn't bad either. First thing I ordered was an appetizer. The Samosa. It's not what I expected. It's a fried dough stuffed with potatoes & peas. I can taste the white pepper & the curry. I give it 3/5 stars. The dough was lightly crisp. I didn't like the lingering pepper aftertaste after every bite. It was served with a dipping oil. While I was waiting & eating. I kept hearing someone coughing. It was staff standing next to the food counter. Yah, that kinda ruined it. I don't want to get sick. At least volunteer to wear a mask for customer peace of mind. Next was my entree, A Kabob City Bowl with Shish ( Lamb). The portion was huge. I hate the fact that my first bite was nothing but chewy fat. It was a big piece and I would have appreciated the cook to just cut that piece off. Dinner was 2/5. Flavor was ok. Idk, the Hanford shop tasted a lot better than this. Ambiance. Loud music. This place was hyped up by my family. They love it, and were positive that I would love it too. I tried to join the bandwagon , but it didn't meet my expectations -if I am being honest. Maybe, it was the lackluster service we received during our visit . Our server never offered a drink refill , took forever to bring us a box for our leftovers, and was pretty much missing in action-the entire time we were there. Mediocre service to say the least. As for the food, we started off with the samosas for an appetizer. This was an interesting take on what I am accustomed to. The dipping sauce was sweet - not spicy which made for an interesting twist. I ordered the kefta burger and fries. The burger itself was Ok, but was bland on its own. The only thing saving this burger was the delicious garlic sauce. I also think the jack cheese on it was a miss. I don't think I would order this again. I have had much better other places, and could make it better myself. My wife ordered the chicken kabab with rice pilaf and salad. The lunch special was a nice size portion . The chicken was tender , and the rice was really good. Unfortunately, the lunch special did not come with pita bread , so you will have to order separately. The star of our meal was the pita bread. It fluffs up like a pillow , and is pretty damn good. I think I would be happy with a ton of pita bread and hummus on my next visit. This location and the Fowler one are my faves. I love the chicken wraps and the kabab plates. They serve a lot and can be split into two meals. I do not live nearby so I usually do Door Dash pick ups if I'm out shopping in the area. The food is always ready to go with no long wait times. I have also dined in a couple times and had pleasant experiences. The interior space is bright and modern with clean fully stocked restrooms. I like that the kitchen is open so you can see the food being prepared. Overall this is solid option for Mediterranean food. read more

I was expecting more of a "fast food" vibe, but Kabob City blends the fast casual and dine-in restaurant very well. All of us loved the decor and the open kitchen area where you can see them making fresh pita in the brick oven. We ordered hummus and pita, samosa, and I personally ordered the chicken shawarma pizza. Everything was delicious! I love how the pita looks like carby balloons; that once ripped open are the perfect hummus eating tools. The samosas were very good, but a little on the small side. My chicken Shawarma pizza was incredible and was huge. I got about three meals out of this one pizza. My family all loved their meals as well, especially my son who ordered the salmon as a side and every single bit of it! One thing they need to work on is the food timing. We sat down around 7:10 and didn't get our check until about 8:45, with a large gap between drinks, apps, and our mains. I think the issue is they're taking care of the pick-up and to go orders first, and then getting to the diners in house; when it should be the other way around. Today a friend invited my daughter and I out to an early dinner. Kabab City was the destination. Never been, love new places. Walking in , first look, pleasing. Greeted and taken directly to meet my friend. Tables big and roomy, lots of space. The menu was easy to read, and waitress was cheerful and able to answer our many questions. Our drinks were ordered and delivered in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken kabob bowl and my friend and my daughter both ordered the vegetarian platter which came with pita bread. All of our food was wonderful! Definitely hot and very tasty! I will go back because t want to try other things. The plates are huge, we brought half home. We did not feel rushed to hurry and eat. Incredible. This was a great experience overall. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She made sure everything was perfectly the way we liked. There is ample seating and also a covered area with tables outside. And the food is really flavorful! Everything was seasoned to perfection and the ground beef shish kabob tasted just like my family's recipe which was comforting. It was a good amount of food tho. Four lamb chops and rice, hummus, salad and some bread. The lamb chops was nice and juicy. Not tooo gamey. I was afraid of that. I had forgotten to grab garlic sauce when I picked up so I went back n got it. I grabbed two. I think it's $1 a sauce?? I don't remember. I tried it and I wasn't a fan. I went here for dinner with a friend, and we got seated quickly. The server was attentive and very nice to speak to, which made ordering easy. When it gets crowded, it tends to get somewhat loud, but my friend and I were still able to have our conversation. The place is very clean and well-kept, so props to the staff for making sure it stays in great condition. The table layout towards the back is a bit strange since it's a little more cramped, but I didn't mind once we were finally eating. We ordered the samosas and a rice plate, and everything tasted great. Our family ordered a large catering order for Easter 2026. My aunt placed the order over the phone and asked if someone could assist her with loading the food into the car (She cannot walk without the use of walking sticks so she is not hands-free when mobile.) She said the girl on the phone responded "we'll try our best". So my aunt calls me to meet her there just in case she doesn't get help. I drive over and my aunt is paying at the front. 4 employees are standing near the food window, three of them are leaning against the counter and one is filling sauce bottles. The server who got payment from my aunt starts slowly bring out the silver catering tins. I starting grabbing them one by one and taking them to my aunt's car, which is parked right in front in the handicap spot. No employees help me AT ALL. No one even opens the heavy front door for me when I have a large, hot container in my hands. No one even OFFERS help. I made about 4 trips back and forth and every time I came back in I see the same employees leaning at the kitchen counter. Really crappy experience and I don't see myself willing to go back solely based on that. I've worked in the restaurant business for years and we would've bent over backwards to help a customer out. When I entered, the environment was bright, there were no TVs, and the patrons all appeared happy. This automatically gave us an indication that Kabab City's ethos was to encourage human interaction while devoid of unnecessary distractions. We think that this is awesome! A truly family-style restaurant. A hostess greeted and seated us in under 5 minutes. The server, Ashley, got our drink with 2 minutes and our food order 3 minutes after that. I will say that, unless I'm missing something regarding her personality or some level of neurodivergence that we couldn't read, she was distracted. From looking elsewhere while taking our order, to having already turned her back on us while nearing the completion of our order/dropping off our food/requesting additional orders. She visited the table surprisingly infrequently. But the other server and hostess were good enough to assist with our needs. My concern is that there were only 2 of us, and with the lack of attention we got from our server, we'd be concerned if there were 3 or 4 of us, as we definitely had less moving parts to attend to. In fact, of the 3 ladies that assisted us, only one was personable. She was the other server in the room. We would definitely look to be seated in her section next time. We ordered the Beef Shawerma Skewer (see picture), and it was phenomenal. The beef was on a large skewer and was tender and flavored throughout. It sat over the pilaf, dripping some wonderful au jus on the rice, which was flavored perfectly. There was a roasted lemon that we could use on a variety of items. We preferred it on some of the pilaf. The salad was very good and had some crisped flatbread and yummy tomatoes. The puffed pita was very good as well. Lastly, the other star of the show (other than the beef) was the hummus. Their hummus is the second best in the valley! (The Armenian Church wins that prize, but this isn't a conflict of interest post because a) they're not a restaurant and b) they sell it once a year for charity.) Their hummus was smooth and creamy. It tells me that they took great care with preparation of the chickpeas at all stages of producing this extraordinary side. The olive oil had a certain quality to it that didn't take away from the dish. The 3 out of 5 stars is due to the imbalance of our experience and previous experience. Great food does not make a great restaurant, it is only one of many factors, though a much more heavily weighted one. I'd hope that they understand that it's just important how we feel leaving the restaurant as it was our excitement coming to it. And considering we spent a great deal wondering why our server and hostess were so disengaged from their work gave us pause as to whether a sit down experience will ever be warranted in the future. This ties into my wife's previous experience that I will share in summary. Previous experience: My wife and her friend were given the impression (after initially) ignoring the first few glances and anti-hospitality vibes that the employees didn't want them at their table for very long. They were eating and hanging out there for 35 minutes. They left after feeling for uncomfortable frequently enough to get a coffee and hang out at the adjoining cafe. When they passed back by to get to their car, they noticed that two ladies who were there before them were still there, greater than 2 hours, so were unsure of why they were rushed to leave. read more

TO: Owners of Kabab City We ate dinner at Kabab City tonight and were very disappointed in the service. The food was good and tasty! We had the Shish Kabab dinner with the Greek salad and pocket bread. There was a group of us. After telling the server NOT to turn in our dinner order until we were close to finishing our salad, she brought our dinner and salad at the same time. We had her return all 3 dinners which she had put under a heat lamp. This caused the food to be luke warm. In addition, our bread was sitting for awhile, so when we asked for butter, but the butter didn't melt. In the past, one of the owners told us that they shouldn't charge for an extra garlic sauce. She insisted that she had to charge us $1.04 each for additional sauce. We had to request additional butter chips, since she brought only enough butter for 1 person. The service was extremely poor, as we had to track our server, Mia, down several times to ask for silverware, "to go" boxes, refills, etc... We had to wait for silverware, since the server said they were short silverware and needed to wash silverware in the dishwasher before we could receive ours. The server needs to be trained better. Hopefully, you could relay this information to the owners and rectify these issues or you will lose good customers. This message was sent to the owner also who never responded and doesn't seem to care about issues at his restaurant! I expect an immediate response or some type of compensation! read more

Absolutely rudest waitress ever! I like the food here usually. They have a good spicy chicken. But it's definitely not worth putting up with rude service. I was meeting associates for lunch. I was the first one there. I was advised to sit anywhere I'd like. I saw there was only one booth available and there was going to be four of us, but I was being cleaned. So I went to the restroom in the meantime. When I came back out, there were still dishes on the table and it felt awkward standing by the table waiting so I decided to scoot all the way into the booth and sit while I waited for the rest of our group. All of the sudden I hear ' Can you hop off the table while we clean up??' in the rudest most condescending snarl! WTH!? Couldn't believe it! A little stunned and unsure how to respond, I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe I hear her tone wrong, but the look on her face matched her tone! (She was one of the taller ones - brown hair blue eyes. - older than rest - maybe head waitress?) Anyway, another gal comes by. Much more relaxed. I mentioned that being seated while table is cleaned has never been an issue anywhere else. She politely replied that it's not usually a problem on open tables but they prefer not in booths so that crumbs don't get dropped on someone's lap. I thought to myself that it's never been an issue and if they careful it's not a problem and even if crumbs fall on my lap, well then it's my fault! Lol. But I politely responded that I understood - appreciating her friendly and professional demeanor. The older waitress needs to stay home when in a bad mood because it costed her employer a group of 4 today. I don't think we will be going back to this place again unless we know she is gone. We will be waiting for a Mediterranean place opening soon on Nees and Aluvial. In the meantime, we will do like we did today and drive 15 minutes to downtown, wrestle with parking, and go to Gus' Grill Mediterranean because we know the food will be consistently good and the service consistently great! read more

Servers were nice and helpful. We waited for the back table for two and as soon as it opened up and cleaned we were seated. We ordered lamb chops & spicy chicken entrees which came with fattoush salads, rice pilaf, hummus and pita bread. I ordered a beef skewer also to try it out. All meats were cooked perfectly, soft and juicy. The spicy chicken was very good and flavorful (I typically don't like curry style dishes). The rice was good, soft and moist. The salad was refreshing, good amount of vinegar... not overly done like some places. Good amount of food where we had leftovers for another meal at home. Pretty good food. Been there a couple times recently. Decided to take my kids after a day of family time. Pretty busy but the service was not very good on this day. Almost like we were being purposefully ignored. We were told that available seats were outside to which my kids were happy with. We sat there without menus or really any acknowledgment that we were even there. There were some older guests at the other table outside with us and were being acknowledged and waited on. The food was delicious here! We came for dinner on a weekend and were seated immediately. We ordered the spicy chicken plate and the chicken skewers plate. The spicy chicken was a saucy curry-like chicken and it was so delicious and I loved all the spices in it.
