First thing I ordered was an appetizer. The Samosa. It's not what I expected. It's a fried dough stuffed with potatoes & peas. I can taste the white pepper & the curry. I give it 3/5 stars. The dough was lightly crisp. I didn't like the lingering pepper aftertaste after every bite. It was served with a dipping oil. While I was waiting & eating. I kept hearing someone coughing. It was staff standing next to the food counter. Yah, that kinda ruined it. I don't want to get sick. At least volunteer to wear a mask for customer peace of mind. Next was my entree, A Kabob City Bowl with Shish ( Lamb). The portion was huge. I hate the fact that my first bite was nothing but chewy fat. It was a big piece and I would have appreciated the cook to just cut that piece off. Dinner was 2/5. Flavor was ok. Idk, the Hanford shop tasted a lot better than this. Ambiance. Loud music. This place is small. It does have a large party long gathering table, but the light fixture above it was Meh. In the very back was a small alcove with nook seating. Like your own private dining area. Idk. I'm not impressed today.

    $10 for all this.

This location and the Fowler one are my faves. I love the chicken wraps and the kabab plates. They serve a lot and can be split into two meals. I do not live nearby so I usually do Door Dash pick ups if I'm out shopping in the area. The food is always ready to go with no long wait times. I have also dined in a couple times and had pleasant experiences. The interior space is bright and modern with clean fully stocked restrooms. I like that the kitchen is open so you can see the food being prepared. Overall this is solid option for Mediterranean food.

Beef kabob skewer ... comes with beef, rice, hummus, and a pita

Another great experience here at kabob city! Wonderful service... great food! My hubby and I shared the beef kabob skewer. Totally enough food as it comes with a generous salad, plateof rice, hummus, a freshly baked pita bread, and a large beef skewer. The highlight of this plate is the flavorful, tender beef skewer and the hummus. The warm pita is also really good.... so we ordered a extra one. We'll definitely be back! Love the atmosphere here too!

I was expecting more of a "fast food" vibe, but Kabob City blends the fast casual and dine-in restaurant very well. All of us loved the decor and the open kitchen area where you can see them making fresh pita in the brick oven. We ordered hummus and pita, samosa, and I personally ordered the chicken shawarma pizza. Everything was delicious! I love how the pita looks like carby balloons; that once ripped open are the perfect hummus eating tools. The samosas were very good, but a little on the small side. My chicken Shawarma pizza was incredible and was huge. I got about three meals out of this one pizza. My family all loved their meals as well, especially my son who ordered the salmon as a side and every single bit of it! One thing they need to work on is the food timing. We sat down around 7:10 and didn't get our check until about 8:45, with a large gap between drinks, apps, and our mains. I think the issue is they're taking care of the pick-up and to go orders first, and then getting to the diners in house; when it should be the other way around. I saw numerous orders being pickup by door dashers. Slow service, but amazing food. Note to self next time I'll place my order for pick up.

Super cool casual vibe! Dine in with great service! Came in for a daughter lunch date and it was delicious! The hummus is honestly the best to my taste buds. We had the spicy chicken and the chicken kabab which both come with rice pilaf and fatoush salad.

Today a friend invited my daughter and I out to an early dinner. Kabab City was the destination. Never been, love new places. Walking in , first look, pleasing. Greeted and taken directly to meet my friend. Tables big and roomy, lots of space. The menu was easy to read, and waitress was cheerful and able to answer our many questions. Our drinks were ordered and delivered in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken kabob bowl and my friend and my daughter both ordered the vegetarian platter which came with pita bread. All of our food was wonderful! Definitely hot and very tasty! I will go back because t want to try other things. The plates are huge, we brought half home. We did not feel rushed to hurry and eat. We visited and enjoyed our time together. Thank you Kabab City, we will return! Good job!

Incredible. This was a great experience overall. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She made sure everything was perfectly the way we liked. There is ample seating and also a covered area with tables outside. And the food is really flavorful! Everything was seasoned to perfection and the ground beef shish kabob tasted just like my family's recipe which was comforting. The food came out in a timely manner and the presentation of the plates were appetizing. I don't have anything negative to comment about this place. Everything was impressive to me.

Went here with a buddy on Sunday and were seated within a few minutes. Service was fast and efficient despite it being busy. We started with a pizza as an appetizer, and I had the spicy chicken plate (not pictured), which comes with a side salad. Definitely one of my favorite Mediterranean spots in town.. consistently a hit. Portion sizes are big, The place is pretty clean overall, and I like the aesthetic, especially the green wall outside. They also offer both indoor and outdoor seating, including booths.

The beef on the skewer was juicy and tender cooked to perfection. The star of the show is the mediterranean chicken pizza they are cooking in a fire oven. They use a garlic sauce and they even have ranch to dip the pizza in. Seriously so unique and different I highly recommend it. The rice is pretty basic it could be better

Lamb Chops came with rice, hummus, bread and salad. Garlic sauce on the side.

I been wanting to try this place for their lamb chops and man it did not disappoint!! I ordered it to go over the phone. It was pretty pricey when I went to go pay. Like $40. It was a good amount of food tho. Four lamb chops and rice, hummus, salad and some bread. The lamb chops was nice and juicy. Not tooo gamey. I was afraid of that. I had forgotten to grab garlic sauce when I picked up so I went back n got it. I grabbed two. I think it's $1 a sauce?? I don't remember. I tried it and I wasn't a fan. It was lacking the garlic flavor!! I still ate it tho. The salad was alright. Cucumbers was kinda soggy. The rice tasted good on its own. I really liked the hummus too. I had enough left over for the next day.

The lamb chops-- is a chefs kiss! It was definitely cooked to perfection, so just and tender-- like it says on the menu "seasoned to perfection" The portion size is good to share between two-- since it came with fattoush salad as a starter. My husband and I also ordered hummus, and the pita bread so very delicious! The server was very attentive. All in all, what a great spot in Fresno for Mediterranean food!

My husband and I actually started coming here because we received a gift certificate on our wedding day, so every visit has always been meaningful to us. Unfortunately, our most recent visit completely changed how I feel about this restaurant. Our waitress was Brenda (a middle-aged Caucasian woman with glasses). I want to be clear about who served us because my receipt also listed the name Brenda, and I would hate for another employee to receive this review by mistake. We were seated fairly quickly even though it was a very busy night and the restaurant was full. I want to say upfront that I completely respect how hard servers work, and I understand busy nights happen. However, after sitting for quite a while without anyone taking our order, I politely told Brenda that we were ready. I am diabetic and was not feeling well, so the wait was starting to affect me. Her response was, "Sorry, we're really busy tonight and there are only three of us waitressing." I understood that they might be short staffed, but at the very least she could have taken our drink order. Instead, she continued cleaning tables and serving other customers. I watched four different tables get seated after us and receive drinks, salads, and appetizers before we even placed our order. As someone who has been coming here for years, I have never felt so uncomfortable or overlooked in this restaurant. In 2026, no customer should feel that way anywhere. When our food finally came, everything arrived at once -- our hummus, salad, and entrée -- which made the experience feel rushed and poorly handled. When I asked Brenda for more napkins, she never returned to our table. We eventually had to go to the register ourselves to pay because she never brought our check. Before leaving, I explained to her how the situation made me feel. She responded with several explanations about being busy and short staffed, but that was never the real issue. The issue was the way we were treated. She forgot who we were all night but when it came to pay my tab, she definitely knew what table we were sitting at because her response was. I'll get your tab for table 3.. The food was amazing as it has always been, but sadly the service we received completely ruined the experience. After nearly nine years of coming here, this will unfortunately be my last visit.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
