Ordered spicy chicken lunch plate and some hummus and it was delicious! Came with a salad and one pita bread with the spicy hummus. The spicy chicken was so full of flavor and you could taste all the spices in your tastebuds. The cashier was so friendly and hospitable. Picked up a beef shawarma wrap and a chicken kabob dinner. The chicken was dry, I had to search for the beef. The best part of the whole thing was the hummus I ordered, though they were expensive for such a small amount. I don't think I'll be back to visit. I usually go out of my way for Mediterranean food from the Nees & First location, so when I heard (through word of mouth) that the same owner had another spot on Figarden Loop, I was SO excited to try it, (bc I work right down the street) & especially since I live about 40 minutes away but work in Fresno. My family and I had really been craving it, so I made the effort... but unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. The rice was undercooked, which was surprising right away. I also ordered a side of shrimp, and the vegetables that came with it were barely cooked as well. For a $62 meal, I honestly expected much better quality, especially knowing how good the other location is. I really wanted to love this spot, but this visit missed the mark for me. My wife got the shish kebab dinner and it actually came rare like we ordered it. We have often had problems with Mediterranean food not coming rare. My wife says it was some of the best shish kebab that she has had. My daughter and I ordered the kafta kebab which is a combination of beef and lamb and it was a touch dry. One of the options on the app was to get half Bulger, but neither of our dinners came with it like we ordered. The salad was excellent with pita chips and a nice subtle dressing. I was in the area late in the evening and was absolutely tired & hungry. Was craving Mediterranean food and decided to give this place a try. Glad I did because it was delicious and the customer service was amazing!! I wanted to try and keep it light so I decided to order the Fattoush salad & chocolate mousse pie. The kind cashier told me it would be a few minutes as the salad needed to be prepared. I waited about 10 min as my order was to go. She packaged everything so nicely and when I was able to eat later on at home, it did not disappoint!! The salad was amazing!!! And quite large, mousse pie was also enough for two people. Garlic sauce is worth the hype! So good and able to be spread unlike garlic sauces at other places. Chicken is always good quality. The food was hot, fresh, and came out quickly for the 3 of us who dined in. Even the fattoush salad(which I'm usually not a fan of) was so good, I don't know what they put in their dressing but it's delicious. Two girls working the front answered questions and were friendly, they also seemed to have a lot of regulars come in. Inside is clean with minimal decor, no clutter. Just very open and fresh. Only drawback was the pita wasn't too good. Not very soft, I don't know if it was old or just not the best quality. It doesn't affect the rating, everything is great! I did not realize this place was so close to my home. I was pretty exhausted from a long day of work and didn't feel like making dinner. I called and placed my order around 4:20 PM. The clerk on the phone said my order would be ready in 20 min. I got there about 4:45 and it was ready to go. The place is nice inside with modern and clean decor. I didn't take a photo of the soda fountain but it was at the end of the dining area and kind of hidden around the corner from view of the cashier counter. They also offered sliced cheesecake and some sort of chocolate pie in the refrigerated display case. I was a little shocked when the cashier told me that my order was $51. I also always tip on take out because I know small businesses took a big hit during this pandemic. So after tip, it was $61. It was my mistake but I didn't realize there were 2 different prices for lunch and dinner plates. Dinner plates cost about $3-5 more. Dinner prices run about $19-20 an entree. It didn't even make much sense to me that the 2 beef kabob dinner plate is $20 while the chicken and beef combo is $19.75. We all know chicken is cheaper and it should have been more like $17-18. The prices are the only reason why I knocked off a star. My order was for 2 people. I ordered one beef kabob entree, one chicken and beef kabob entree and an order of 4 samosas. The kabob plates come with a fattoush salad, rice pilaf and garlic sauce. The salad was actually really good. No cheap iceberg lettuce here. It was all dark leafy greens. There are small pieces of baked pita crisps in it with an ever so light mint flavor. The kabobs come with 4 pieces of meat with a slice of onion and green bell pepper. The chicken had good flavor and wasn't dry but I really enjoyed the beef. I am eating less beef these days and prefer chicken more often but honestly get the beef! The rice was well seasoned, al dente firmness with a buttery flavor. The samosas were a little smaller in size than expected but they had a very nice crispy dough and nice soft curry potato and peas flavor inside. I think if I were to return, I would come for lunch. That dinner price is hard to swallow for take-out. read more

The only reason why I give them 3 stars is for inconsistency. There are different cooks. Some are better than others. On their good days it's exquisite- the portions are big. The veggies are cooked perfect, the fattoush salad is balanced and the chicken is seasoned just right with an ample amount of garlic sauce drizzled on top. On the bad days the chicken is still cold in the middle and not fresh tasting (taste reheated). The veggies are undercooked. They skimp me on the garlic sauce, the fattoush is way too sour and the meat portions are less than plentiful. Scratching my head here... but then again this place just opened , so they are working out the kinks? read more

The girl who took our order was friendly & honest when she said our order to go would take 25 minutes! But like I said, it's made to order. We ordered their combo plates and some spicy hummus. Their side salad that came with the plates was very good, & I especially liked the crispy pita chips they sprinkle Klee on top! They don't get 5 stars because their drink station lacks variety and fresh brewed iced tea. In addition, their floors were a little dirty & could use a good scrubbing. Staff were friendly enough but had an unexpectedly poor knowledge of the menu when my wife asked about salad ingredients. I ordered the gyro plate while my wife had the chicken kafta. The food was presented well but had less flavor than expected, which I guess might be par for a chain restaurant. The garlic dipping sauce was *really* good though, I'd put that on everything. I've always had tremendous customer service (and great food) here, but yesterday was beyond. My friend had purchased a meal from a church fundraiser to host he4cousins from Chicago. At 5:20 pm, she received a text that there was a mixup and the food wasn't ready as the restaurant thought it was two days later. So here we are with no food for 10 people. My friend calls Kabab City to order catering portions of chicken, beef, salad and pilaf. It was ready in 30 minutes! Talk about saving the day. The trays of rice and pilaf were enough for 15-20 people! The chicken/beef was enough for 15. It took me about 15 minutes to pack all of the leftovers as there was so much food, delicious food I might emphasize again. Thank you Kabab City! read more

Too hot to cook tonight so we decided to try out this spot! We had seen it in the shopping center as we drove down Figarden Dr. As soon as you walk in, they have the menu right above the cashiers. Their staff was friendly. They were very busy when I got there. There were about 5 people waiting for their order before me plus a ton of pick-up orders. They do close at 8pm and it's a Sunday so that's definitely something worth noting. The menu is pretty similar to other Mediterranean restaurants. The do have options for children. We ordered the Spicy Chicken dinner that came with rice pilaf & a shawarma dinner which came with rice pilaf and fattoush salad. We also ordered some samosas as an appetizer which were a perfect vegetarian option! The chicken wasn't that spicy but it was very tasty and delicious. The beef shawarma was also very tasty and juicy. I've had others that either let the beef or chicken dry out so it was reassuring that was not the case with this plate. We ordered extra garlic sauce on the side. Their garlic sauce is delicious . The restaurant is pretty spacious and has a lot of natural lighting which I love! The ambiance was very busy but comfortable. Everyone that was waiting was respectful of each other's space and keep a safe distance. COVID-19 phase: Lunch break! Yes please! I called in and asked what was more popular, the chicken wrap or the chicken burrito. The worker was very nice and said the wrap. I ordered that. You also get a choice of fries, side salad or rice pilaf and I picked side salad. The worker said it would be ready in 10 minutes so I went to get it on my lunch. The worker was masked and masks are required. Very nice. I said my name and my order was ready. I paid for it and the worker was very kind and wished me a good day! Appreciated! Omg! Wow! Went here the other day and I was very satisfied! There was exceptional service by the waitress working all by herself there. I ordered the Combo plate, wasn't too much of a fan of the lamb because of my own preferences but the steak and chicken is sooo juicy and good here. Their portions are heavy here and even had some leftover for dinner. We dived into this so quickly, I forgot to take pictures! I ordered from here twice in two weeks. First for my in laws and then again for my husband and my MIL. I ordered the chicken kabab, my in laws the beef, and my husband the combo plate. It comes with the meat, rice, and salad. I also ordered pita bread on the side. Everyone loved each of their plates. The salad is dressed perfectly and soo tasty. The chicken kabab is super flavorful and so were the other plates. I love that they serve onions and peppers with it too. And the garlic sauce they serve. Omg. Next time we will get a side of it. My husband loved it. The rice my son loved and there was plenty of it. I frequented the Kabab City on Nees many times and could not wait for this one to open closer to my home. Today I ordered the lamb chops, the honey garlic cauliflower and a side of baba ghanouj & chocolate cheesecake, everything was wonderful. The lamb chops were super tender and cooked perfectly.
