I randomly came across this place when I was going to Costco. I'm so glad I stopped by because it was so good. The chicken was flavorful, the hummus is good and the rice is amazing. The service is solid and they get the food out pretty quickly. It's a great pit stop before you do your shopping in the area. For starters, it was our first time. Chicken shawarma Arabic style is 10/10 But the low rating is due to two main things: cleanliness and soggy falafel pita. Usually everyone's go to for falafel is Sababa in Anaheim. We decided to give this place a try since it's nearby. The falafel wasn't fully cooked on the inside, not sure why they were extremely rushed into making our order. Once we got it, the pita was alllll soggy, completely cold and wet. Not sure if it was heated up at all. But for the main main point that I wish the business owner and workers would read is that I've never smelt a more disgusting smell in any food establishment before. You walk in and right when you get to the counter you smell something really odd, like the machines haven't been cleaned in ages or the dirty floors behind the counter - not sure. Then we tried to go into the bathroom to just wash our hands and we couldn't even get to open the door because it smelled like absolutely number #2. Did someone do that in the bathroom then walk around with it on there shoes... did they not clean the bathroom in ages!? Not sure! But once we smelled that we immediately left and won't ever be back. The lamb chops were great and seasoned well however the rice it came with was extremely salty and I couldnt eat it. The other side dishes were amazing and went super well with my lamb chops even though I felt like the lamb chops were kind of small for the price. The TVs are really loud inside of the restaurant and it echoes so if you're OK with loud noises there is seating inside. The pistachio baklava was a little disappointing for me because I am used to going to Persian markets and finding baklava doused in honey. Some places, their side items are set (in stone Lol and they will not let you substitute). Here, I can pick any two sides I prefer and not be forced to get hummus for every plate. This is one of the reasons we keep coming back: being able to select different sides. Taste: 5 stars. I like their Kefta (mixed ground beef and lamb) because it's not tough nor dry. The kids enjoy the Chicken and beef shawerma combo $14.99 because they're thinly sliced marinated pieces with a lot of flavor. The two cold appetizers of your choice such as tabouleh, Mediterranean salad with crisp cucumbers etc, the white cabbage salad, and turshi (crisp sour pickled carrots and cauliflower) all go so well with the meat and rice. Good portions too so I'm not still hungry after I finish a whole combo (unlike a previous Mediterranean restaurant we used to frequent). There's only a couple things and that is the falafel is kind of salty and their flat pita bread is not as soft as other places. The white garlic sauce is very tasty though. Atmosphere: ? This was my favorite place to get Mediterranean food. Unfortunately today we were greeting by a woman who couldn't understand English and could not take our order properly. Upon further inspection we noticed there was not the third combo added to our order so we went back to order again. The woman had to have a translator (fine) but everything felt like my family and I were in the wrong. We get our orders and drive home. An hour drive later, our orders are incorrect. Not one meal was correct. This was partially our mistake for not double checking but NEVER have they messed up our orders in the last 5 years we have been coming here.
