I don't normally eat Middle Eastern/Greek/Mediterranean food often, but I do once in while have a craving for some kabab's especially lamb kababs. BUT this place did lamb kababs no justice. Not one single ounce of justice. When you eat lamb meat in general... you think of the heavenly tenderness after the first bite. You feel the juice ooze out of the meat, and you are in AWWW.... I got to have some more.... Lamb meat has to be cooked right.... Or it will taste really dry in the mouth and that is NOT A GOOD FEELING. Lamb has to be cooked, just right. If you F UP lamb, the customer will be flossing their teeth all night trying to get the lamb from sticking in between their teeth. That is a big NO NO! I came here to try this place out because I haven't had Mediterranean food in awhile, and I used to frequent one when I lived back in LA cause their lamb kababs were to DIE FOR! I ordered the lamb kabab combo. I ordered two sides which was hummus and red onions. It came with their famous garlic sauce and pita bread. The Hummus was bland. I love hummus when it has some sort of flavor. This one was rather plain tasting. Usually when Mediterranean places serve you this dish, I would taste some sorta of garlic in it, but this was pretty bland. Not enough taste. Lack of flavor. I felt like I was tasting smashed up cardboard almost. I would say 1/5 Stars for this side. The Red Onions were rather tasty. It had a lot of flavor which was nice. Whatever mixed of spices and herbs they used, they made these slices of red onions taste really good. I ate this side dish more than I ate anything else to be honest. These red onions had a very nice sweet and sour taste to it which made it very appetizing. I love sweet and sour side dishes. I give this side dish a good solid 5/5 Stars. The Pita Bread they gave was pretty soft and very edible. I love when they give Pita bread nice, soft and warm. It makes it better to dip it into the hummus. Their Pita bread was soft, chewy and moist. I give their Pita bread a good 4/5 Stars. The only reason for the 1 Stars down is because I like thick pita bread more. This one was more on the thinner side. The Lamb was the big screw up here. Their lamb was pretty dried and it lacked flavor. You know the taste of dried up meat? When it takes a few minutes of your time to chew it up and swallow? This was exactly that. If Lamb is cooked right, their juices inside comes juicing out of your mouth, and it's very easy to chew on. When it's cooked wrong, it's dried up, has no juice and no flavor. I felt like I was chewing on one piece for like forever before I can swallow. This was no bueno for me. When the meat is so dried up, it looses the luster for the taste of the meat also. Lamb has a very distinctive taste, and when it is dried up... the flavor, the taste and the juices inside are gone... even with the garlic sauce they provide... it tasted awful. The garlic sauce itself was pretty tasty. I did like the garlic sauce. I give this 0/5 Star... Overall, I give this place a 2 Stars. The decent Pita bread and the tasty red onions gave it the full 2 Stars. Will I come back? Maybe not for the lamb, but maybe try the other meats like beef or chicken? I don't know. Decided to give this place a chance. Apparently they've been in corona for 3 years! I've been eating at Kaza maza and Dvine for a few months but this place tops both and closer to my house! I came in here on a Tuesday because my normal Kebab place in Riverside was closed. This place had really good reviews so I thought I would try it out. Everyone in my party are Mediterranean food aficionados so we had high hopes for this place. But after waiting an exceptionally long time for our food we were extremely disappointed. First off they only had enough lamb for one plate which happened to be mine, so others that wanted lamb were forced to order other items. When we got the food nothing had flavor, I didn't taste any spices or salt. Lamb was overcooked and oversized for a kebab. I needed a knife to cut every single piece. My kids also said their food was very bland as well. We had ordered the falafel and it was the worst falafel I had ever had. Beans not completely ground, very greasy and again "0" flavor. Their hummus was extremely unusual as it had chunks of chickpea instead of being a smooth consistency. I also ordered a side of baba ghanoush and it was the worst I've ever had. Thick, not creamy and flavorless left me wishing my normal go-to spot was open. After all this I regretted paying $117 for this meal that fed four people. In the middle of our meal a family came in and their children were bouncing a basketball off the walls and floor like it was a gym. I really had hoped the staff would have said anything but they did not. I left this place disgusted, irritated and like I had been robbed for what I paid. I will not come back here. read more

I would order your food to go because the indoor dining is outdated and uncomfortable. I went on a warm day and they didn't even have adequate cool air to make it comfortable inside. The staff was very friendly and helpful navigating through the menu. I ordered the chicken kabob entree which comes with 2 sides, so i got hummus and cucumber salad. It also come with pita bread that I felt was as thin as a tortilla and got stale pretty quick. The rice was not as light and fluffy as I thought it usually does. As I walked into this establishment I was greeted by Nicole who was very nice and recommended (because I asked) the chicken shawarma and this is what I had. I must say it was delicious! For my sides I got hummus and potatoe salad both of which were yummy! This plate came with rice as well which was delicious! There were also some veggies that appeared to have been pickled and oh my it was a perfect blend with the shawarma. They also served quite a big portion. All in all a very tasty experience and I am definitely going to make this one of my all time favorites to visit when I feel like having Mediterranean cuisine! I am giving this place a one star review because of the irresponsible employees that look like teenagers working here. I came in on a Saturday evening, 12/4/2021, very hungry after a workout. I was excited to order some chicken shawarma, as this is one of my favorite dishes. A young girl took my order, and as she was taking my order, I was distracted by the employees who were fooling around behind the counter. Thinking nothing too much of it, I placed my order and waited. I decided to sit right in front and wait for my order so I could observe how they were making it. As the employees were cooking the food, I observed them picking off pieces of food, which could have been my order, and stuffing it into their mouths! That is not right! You should never be eating any customers food, and in light of Covid, that is very unsanitary. I was upset, however I did not want to make a scene. Upon receiving my order, I left and tossed it in the trash. I refused to eat any food that the employees had tampered with. I saw that this place was graded a B, so I never went. Just arrived home from this place. I ordered a large beef kabob and a medium chicken kabob. I've been here several times and the other location in cerritos. When I arrived home I noticed I was missing 1 kabob it should've been 3 there was only 2. I called them and let them know I was missing food and the girl began to argue with me that they did give me 3 kabobs. Good, solid Mediterranean cuisine with generous portions, nicely executed. While nothing out of the ordinary is offered on the menu, they wisely present what are predictably the familiar favorites to the masses. Any place that offers lamb chops has Mr. B's attention. There were 3 thick, juicy, savory rib chops, the prime cut from the rack. It comes with a plateful of rice pilaf, plus your choice of 2 sides. The chops were wonderful. This deliciousness comes with a price tag around $16. The Veggie entree, priced around $9, is a nice, non meat offering that starts with 3 big pieces of falafel, grilled vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, tomato, onion, placed on a bed of rice pilaf. Two sides of your choice are included, as well as some pickled vegetables (carrot, peppers, green olives). I thoroughly enjoyed my selelection. So, about those sides. Our choices are pretty predictable, always including hummus, smokey baba ghanoush, and salad (in this case a cold, chopped cucumber, onion, tomato salad in a vinaigrette). These were decent. The final side was called "potato salad", which Mr. B described as a cold mashed potato dish. This was bland and did not particularly impress. The experience is informal, with you ordering at the cashier, finding a table, then keeping your ears wide open to hear your order number being called. Serve yourself drinks. Bus your own dishes and trash. The dining room is spacious, many tables, but not squeezed together. This would handle a large group easily, as well as accommodating families with strollers or wheelchairs. Everything is cooked to order, which I appreciate, but there was at least a 15 (plus) minute wait for our order to be ready. Our visit happened to be during non-rush hours and there were only a few other tables occupied, so if timing is a consideration, perhaps call it in ahead of your arrival? My only negative observations were quite fixable. For one, the pilaf lost points for being on the al dente side, needing a touch more cooking liquid. The flavor was good. The other, the table appeared to be clean but was unpleasantly sticky. A good wipe down was needed. The expectation of cleanliness is not unreasonable, customers reminding staff to do their job is annoying at best. But second chances are reasonable. This is a very convenient location, with plenty of parking. To its advantage, this large center hosts big anchors: Costco, Home Depot, Ranch 99 Market, Starbucks, and many other restaurants and retail stores so you can accomplish much at the same time. read more

Very dissatisfied with the food. I ordered a small entrée consisting of a chicken kabob, rice, hummus, tabouleh, pita bread, and a can of coke. The price was $19.01 which is of market value for a similar meal from other local Mediterranean restaurants. The tabouleh was the most disappointing because it obviously was not fresh, watery looking and mushy in texture. It also wasn't very lemony as a tabouleh should taste and it was not crispy like freshly chopped parsley should be. They also charge an extra $0.75 for a side of sriracha sauce where this is complimentary at most restaurants. Other local Mediterranean restaurants such as Elia's Pita in Riverside, the Kabob House in Riverside or D'Vine in Corona are highly recommended over this place for similar food items. read more
