The food is ok. A friend had her food catered from here for a party and one of the dishes had to be returned. They were friendly about it and replaced with another dish as they were out of the original dish. The place looks like it could use a little cleaning. Found out this place was down the street from my house I usually go to Valerio's to buy pan de sal. I decided to give it a shot, I bought a bag of pan de sal as I get home I noticed the bag looked like it wasn't as full as Valerio's I count the buns there is only 10 I headed straight back especially since she charged me extra to use my card before i went back I called to make sure how many come in a bag and the price for half a dozen the lady I spoke with told me it would be 1.50. So I head back to the store and tell them I'm missing bread the lady laughed like I was lying and I asked her for another half dozen she laughed more, I was irritated already I can tell she was racist, so when she gives me my bread she charged me 1.75 I didnt argue with her ass cause I knew I would of gone off, I told her I will never go there again I will stick to valerios cause they treat you equally to there people, she just kept apologizing after but it was too late by then. This use to be my place to go when I was working closer to this place but over the years noticed that the quality of their food and service has gone down tremendously. They give so little for their combinations probably the least of all Filipino places out there. The taste isn't all that great either. It really depends what time of the day you go there because there will be times when it's so dry and old looking and there are times when it's salty other times bland. Yep, I got sucked in because it was right next door to Snoice...so of course I had to go check out the baked goodies. I really like the pork siopao here. The bread is so soft. I wanted more filling, but the bread tastes so good that I can get over the small amount of filling. i also bought some other desserts that have been very tasty. They let me know what time to be there for the order and it was ready on time. It's your basic cafeteria style filipino turo-turo (point-point) spot. their combo plate consists of your choice of pancit or steamed white rice and your choice of ulam (meat/main entre) and a bowl of broth. They usually have sisig, adobong pusit, fried fish, menudo, lumpia, okoy, and other familiar filipino dishes. All of which are pretty good. My only gripe is that they leave in the "bones" of the squid in their adobong pusit. My family and I usually go there for the dilis, or fried anchovies, which can be bought by quarter, half, or full pound increments. these are straight up addicting with vinegar. read more
