Stopped there on a whim for lunch since I really do like Mediterranean food. I got the lamb plate. The people were very nice but I felt that the dish was a solid B minus. The pita bread was not fresh. The hummus was over mixed and tasted a little processed, too smooth for me, and could use more tahini maybe some lemon and garlic. The rice was boring and the cucumber mixed salad that comes with it tasted like it had been sitting around a while, which surprised me considering that I was there at lunch time. The lamb was okay but not spectacular or as juicy as I had hoped, and the portion size was a little small. I felt the price was good and the atmosphere was fine but yes, a little disappointed in the food. I'd probably try again because they could have just been having an off day. If I go back and it's better I'll update my review. I wish them luck because we do need more healthy food options in this town. read more

Upon arriving at the place, the ambience was nice and quiet. The decor was cute. Now the food, it was AMAZING! The flavors in this dish were perfect for every bite I took. I usually don't leave reviews but a lot of people are sleeping on this place. If you are in the mood to try a new dish and get your moneys worth, try this one. You will not regret it! Finally tried this spot out thanks to delivery. We ordered the mixed shawarma and gyro plate, chicken shawarma with a side of fries. Everything was fresh and good. The gyro was actually very tasty. The chicken shawarma was a not dry the second time, but had good flavor. The salad and hummus was on point. Towards the end of the meal I opened up the garlic sauce and was kicking myself that I waited until the end to try it. It was so good! I had assumed it was yogurt so that is why I waited to try it. Let's start off by saying I found this place just off of yelp. I wanted something healthy, flavorful, and fulfilling. I got all 3+ more as soon as I walked in the place was completely empty, which made me feel a bit skeptical their reviews as of lately have been fairly good so I wanted to give them a try. The owner greeted me with so much hospitality at a point it felt like I was in his own home, I let him know. This was my first time, and he explained everything to me as I am familiar with Mediterranean food I still extremely appreciated his attention to detail about his craft. Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. The pita bread came out fluffy, airy, and delightful. The veggie mix plate came out fresh and bursting with flavor. I did the half chicken kebab and lamb kebab, and the meat was juicy and tender. The rice was cooked to perfection with every grain of rice having its own personality to top it off I washed it down with a blistering hot fresh tea. Very tasty food. This is the first time I try this place and I'm glad I did. Was I'm the mood for some middle eastern flavors and found this place. I ordered the kebab plate, the shawarma plate and the gyro plate just so I could try the main dishes. The meat was very fresh and full of flavor, the portions were pretty generous and the freshness of the food was very palpable. I love that they give you three different sauces to accompany your meal. I have bummer food allergies/intolerance and can no longer process meat so I am an involuntary vegetarian. But I've also never had a Philly cheesesteak. So. OMG, both were soo flavorful and delicious! Make sure to get extra Tziski and garlic sauce! I also got extra pita bread for the delicious hummus! The rice was a little dry, but still packed a lot of flavors! The only thing I would change is the "salad" on the side of the plate is just cucumbers and tomatoes. My husband and I came to eat here to try out the food. We are big halal foodies and we're excited to have a Mediterranean food spot close by. We got there, the environment was clean, spacious, not too bad. When we god to order, the service was good too. We got there at around 5:30pm on a Saturday and there was about 3 other families dining in and people cooking and going with pick up orders every couple minutes. We ordered a gyro plate, a chicken shawarma plate, fries with taziki sauce and chili sauce on top and one fountain drink. Total came out to $29 and some change. Typically what we pay at other Mediterranean food spots so no big deal, expected. Time goes by and we started to noticed people that came to dine in AFTER we already ordered were getting their food before us. We've been waiting roughly 40 minutes for our food at this point. My husband went to go ask about our food and was told they were working on our plates "now". 10 minutes later, our food comes out. We are thinking they probably overlooked our order and that's why it took so long and why others after us were getting their food out first. The food and presentation was underwhelming. Small portions, DEFINITELY not worth the price. The meats and rice where pretty dry. The pita bread had an unpleasant taste that i cannot describe cause i just don't even know how to. Also, if like to mention that the fountain drink costed $2-something for a kids size cup (they only have one size). There's no way it would take them an hour to get our food out, half the plate was hummus and a salad.. other half was maybe a scoop of rice with some gyro on top. This whole time there was 2 other people that were waiting on to go orders and were starting to complain about the wait too. One ended up going to wait in her car after a while and after complaining. As we were leaving my husband went to give feedback to the manager (we have never had the need to do this before, we hate having to point out bad experiences), my husband was not simply trying to give feedback and the manager kept talking over him and getting flustered. He refused to accept what my husband was saying and kept saying "we apologize for the mistake on your order" so we asked "what mistake?" Cause we didn't notice one. He couldn't even tell us what the mistake was so he was either not even listening to what we where saying or they actually made a mistake on our order and just didn't want to go into it further. This is one of my favorite places. It's expensive but the food is absolutely worth it. The flavors are on point. I'm often the only non-middle eastern person in the restaurant. The Turkish coffee came out towards the end of the meal. Really cool setup. There is sweet and low by the soda machines, otherwise it comes just as is. My boyfriend drinks black coffee, so liked it. It has a slight sweetness to it, but not over bearing. We don't know if the caffeine content is higher with this type of coffee, but just know that it is a small cup. But it is a fun experience.
