    Lunch buffet
    Claudia C.

Yummy quality Indian buffet with a great selection of options for a reasonable price. I came to dine by myself on a Thursday during lunchtime. When I arrived the place was completely empty but quickly filled up as I was finishing up my meal. The options are plentiful (a salad bar, sauce bar, at least 3-4 curry options both meat and vegetarian, a bunch of fried dishes, and lots of dessert options). I appreciated the quality of all of the dishes. The buffet also comes with plain naan or specialty naan options for an extra cost. I tried the garlic naan which was fresh and flaky. I also ordered samosas on the side which didn't disappoint. It's not the best Indian buffet I've been to but definitely hits the spot when I'm craving Indian food. Service is also around the clock even though there's only two servers helping the patrons. No complaints. Overall, I recommend checking this place out.

Went for their lunch buffet on a Saturday around 12:30pm and was seated immediately. Not too busy. $18 and included regular naan (other breads extra) and Chai tea. There was a nice variety of food: vegetable, goat, chicken curries, dal, variety of fried foods, fresh vegetables and fruits. The food was pretty decent overall. The best dishes were the tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala, chicken are all very juicy and tender. Not the most comprehensive Indian buffet offering I've had at a similar price, I've had better. Medium sized, clean, spacious restaurant. Decent service. Shared parking lot and street parking

Best indian resturant ever! Been going here since I was a kid with my parents and its been about 15 years since I've been back and It's safe to say they've kept the same great quality of food! Amazing food and at such a great price point as well! Also, not to mention they don't accept tip!!! Saw some other reviews complaining about the service or discriminatory behavior but saw none of that. Service was fast and efficient, and it was so diverse! Saw many different races eating inside and being east-Asian I did not feel out of place at all as mentioned by other reviews! Would definitely recommend anyone to check out this place!

I came back again because I was recommended this place yet again by another Indian friend. Food-wise they have definitely redeemed themselves, but the wait to get our food was still incredibly long. I'd say about half an hour. At least this time all the food came out fresh and piping hot! My mom and I tried a bunch of items and I have to say the flavors were all so good. The meat in the goat curry and chicken tikka masala were super tender. Everything was really flavorful. I really have no complaints when it comes to the food aside from everything being slightly on the oily side. But that's what makes it good! I think they just have a lot of organizational issues. Workers honestly seemed confused and untrained. We received our bill to sign but were not given a pen. Then when we took a closer look at the bill, there wasn't even any spots to write for tip. We were not checked on throughout. Overall, terrible service but great food. The place itself looks much better than when I visited back then. Brightly lit, spacious, and clean!

My paid order they didn't even process it.

I always ordered Online and buy Lamb Biryani and among other stuff, Here at Kabila. Today 10/03/2025 I ordered online around 8:39pm I received a receipt indicating takes 20-25 Minutes for order to process. I arrive at 9:13pm at Kabila to pick up my order the place was newly renovated with glass door. I went to talk to Cashier a young lady and showed no customer skills at all, she was talking to a coworker completely ignoring me while I'm standing in front of her, then she look at me I told her I'm picking up my order then she did other things going inside the kitchen hiding from me. There was other worker there counting money also ignoring me. Then an Indian Customer comes in and the worker counting money entertains the Indian Customer. From there I understood that this workers are racist towards none Indian. I am not Indian I was standing there waiting for my paid online order but no one is even talking to me and the Cashier just hiding from me. At this point I understand what's happening so I decided to leave. I never felt so discriminated in my life.

Ordered to go from here and the food was ready immediately. The portions were huge and Dal Makhni had a medium thickness to it and has a good flavor but could use a bit more spice as it tasted a bit off by itself. We made wagyu beef and added it to the soup which made it taste a lot better. The maharaja naan was delicious; the portion was huge and was super flavorful with the nuts, coconut, and cherries. I would like to try one of their curries next time!

Found my new fav Indian place. Came here for a friend's meet up. Not only do they do dining but they also have desserts to go! Their mango lassi was very good as well as their chai! It was rich in flavor. We ordered two paneer dish and naan to go with it. Will be a my go to spot for Indian food now.

Came here really hungry after a massage and got my food to-go. This is not my first time here... and I feel like something has changed with the flavors. My lamb biryani and goat karahi tasted different than I remember it. Both were less spicy, which is actually good for me as I have weak tolerance for spicy food. But the flavor was also not there... it leaves much to be desired. I am unsure if it could have been better if I ate it at the restaurant... but my next destination was close by so I was able to eat it warm without microwaving it.

Chicken Tikka masala and baingan bharta. Generous portions for takeout

I've been coming to Moon Indian Cuisine in Hayward since I was 17, and now I'm 29 -- that alone…read moresays a lot about how amazing this place is. Over the years, the quality and flavor have always stayed consistent. Their butter chicken, curry, biryani rice, and samosas never disappoint, and the jalebi and gulab jamun are some of my favorite desserts ever. The food is always flavorful, comforting, and authentic. The staff has always been welcoming, and it truly feels like a hometown favorite for me. If a restaurant can keep you coming back for over a decade, you know they're doing something right. Highly recommend!

Came here during lunch time with the bf because he keeps mentioning this place and how he likes…read moretheir mango lassi and butter chicken. We got the pani puri, the samosas, and we both got their lunch combo. The pani puri was like eating stale tortillas, like they bought the economy pack and will keep using them regardless of freshness. The samosas were good, not really rememberable or better than other Indian food spots. The bf got their butter chicken and the sauce was good. But I don't go to Indian places to get the butter chicken. I actually don't remeber what I got for my lunch combo, but it wasn't anthing to write home about. Pricing was okay given it was the lunch time special pricing. Honestly the atmosphere felt like a family shop where no one wants to work there but it pays the bills. There's a counter filled with unlabeled treats. They looked good but I had no idea what they were. Service was the minimum which doesn't really bother me but some people enjoy it. Felt really cramped filled with tables and people who think they're having an exotic lunch instead of McDonald's. This place is not for me and after I told by bf this he agreed. Kinda hard to find, it's like a blink and you miss it. Parking is sparse, I parked down the street.
