Stay away from this company and owner, Kay. We hired Kay at the beginning of 2025 to build custom cabinets for our whole apartment, two bathrooms, Master bedroom, kids, office, Living room, kitchen and entrance cabinets. At the beginning everything was great, Kay came in several times to our place, show us samples, design ect, by June we agreed on everything and he started building cabinets, by Sep and Oct he delivered two vanities, MBR cabinets, later office, kids and living room and by October we were happy with results. Then something happened to him or his business. He took large deposit to continue building kitchen and entrance cabinet and promised to deliver all in November. November came and he is MIA, no responses to Ph calls or emails, until I wrote strong email explaining that I will place a stop on deposit paid w CC. He replied back to email, saying he is OK, but would not be able to deliver until January 2026. we agreed and continued to wait, in January he has gone again MIA, even other subs couldn't get a hold of him, cabinet installer, cabinet painter. After several appents to contact him he responded back that he is 100% guarantee to deliver all on Feb 13. On my question whats is happening, he was just mumbling some nonsense, so we decide to wait till Feb 13. Meanwhile we could not move in to our place and have to spend money to keep two places where we live and our new apartment w/o kitchen. On Feb 12 I emailed him asking if he is coming tomorrow Feb 13 and no response. I asked other subs to see if they can get a hold of him and no success either. So after month and a half, after me calling Credit card and canceling payment to him, and several attempts he finally responded and on my question what is going on he said he is fine and still in business. After request to explain what the hack is going on he said he want to "fix" his mistake and he will deliver all in mid May, because NOW he is building others customers cabinets. Even after my explanation that this is not right, that my order was from last year and he screw my whole family and should fix this issue as priority and after that take care other customers, he couldn't get it and refused to deliver all in April. I give him 30 days to build and deliver and explained to him that I simply can't trust him and wait another month and a half , as he lied and broken promises to me already half a dozen time. So, now I will take him to the court for all the money I lost, time and all emotional damage he cause to me and my family. So, watch out and protect yourself. read more

Kay did multiple projects for us during a bathroom remodel. He built a custom vanity with matching side cabinet, a built in closet drawer system, and a large high quality floating shelf above our new washer and dryer. We loved how everything turned out and appreciated Kay's diligence. The spaces we were working with all had slanted ceilings, so the measurements were tricky. Kay and his team deserve every one of the 5 stars and more. They are professional and courteous to a fault, quote jobs competitively, and most importantly, have the expertise with cabinetry to be flexible to customers' requests (as opposed to imposing cookie cutter solutions). That's the gist. Here's a bit more detail to help others out there who want similar work done. The base cabinets in my small kitchen were the old fashioned half-shelf-on-top type with doors in front. They were nothing but a waste of space, and extremely awkward to use because one had to squat down every time to get anything out of them. After living with them for many years, I decided that enough was enough (the pandemic must have played a part!) and I needed user-friendly drawers instead. I started contacting different companies, but none could give me what I wanted - the stiles to be cut out and used as rails between the new drawers, the doors to be taken off, turned by 90 degrees and used as drawer faces for the new drawers. Some companies couldn't handle the stile (the center vertical piece of wood where the doors meet), some said (sight unseen) that they would do it only if I refaced all my cabinets as well(!) and some suggested (again, sight unseen) that I remodel my entire kitchen! My cabinet faces are in great shape and made of real wood and I saw no reason to accept any of those suggestions. So my search continued till I got in touch with Kay. I explained on the phone what I was looking for, and he said it was most likely possible but he would have to see the kitchen for himself and measure everything before giving me a firm answer. We set up an appointment and Kay came over (mask and all) and verified that yes, what I wanted was not only possible, but also that he could do it! Yay! He took the necessary measurements (he makes the drawers in his own shop) and from then on we did everything else via email till the installation day. Gordon did the actual installation. He wore a mask the whole time, treated my home with respect and was extremely careful to protect all the floors around the work area. He patiently resolved any issues he encountered and was friendly while satisfying my curiosity about his tools and methods. I also had him attach cabinet door dampers that I found online, on all the upper doors, so there is no more ruckus of doors banging shut! The result is that I now have amazing, large, soft-close drawers in the base cabinets and soft-close doors on the top cabinets. We simply adore the quiet efficiency of our kitchen now.
