Kabo kitchen. They got a banner that says no processed food. Everything fresh. And I can tell Kevin and Chris were super cool and helpful. With their help. Decided to get a fish bowl. And a salmon burrito. Both were really good. Fresh tasting. Good amount of food. And priced right. The burrito did get a bit soggy at the bottom but it was still very good. Plenty of fish. Salsa were good and their sauces. They are apart of the fresh of the boat group. Overall loved the experience and the food

Chicken Kabob Salad so fresh and delicious, plus the portion is very generous

I've had a few of their menu items and they were all delicious! My favorites are their carne asada and chicken tacos, grilled zucchini, and the hummus and warm pita bread are always delicious!! I recently had their garden salad with sliced chicken kabob and not only do you get a nice portion but the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned. The staff is super friendly and efficient, there is plenty of parking. I've had lunch inside once and it was super clean with a simple nice decor. They also have a breakfast menu with a variety of coffee drinks, come check them out!

ordered to go for the first time here and everything was pretty decent. chicken can be a little bit on the drier side but i'd recommend mixing in the garlic sauce and some hummus with the basmati rice and chicken to moisten up the dish, but also add good flavor. the zucchini was roasted/grilled nicely as they were soft but still had some bite to them. the pita was soft and the hummus was very garlic forward, but i love garlic so i'm not complaining there! i'd order here again

New restaurant! They sent a promo in the mail for a BOGO entree so thought we tried it out! The workers are really nice and welcoming, the food is also really good! They also have a Taco Tuesday deal, $1.95 per taco. Ordered the Lamb Gyro plate ($13) and the fish and chips ($10) as well as an iced Baklava latte ($5) very unique coffee! The lamb was pretty good! Lots of flavor and comes with rice, pita bread and hummus, which. Was really good. The fish and chips comes with Cole slaw and their "crazy sauce." Very crispy fish and nice Cajun fries. Here is where there were some kinks they need to work out... 1. When I ordered there was some miscommunication. He asked if I would like my lamb gyro plate with just grilled veggies or with rice, hummus, and pita bread. I said rice hummus and pita sounds good, but he added grilled veggies and was charged $2. No biggie, the grilled veggies was nice but miscommunication, because I didn't really want it. 2. He asked if I wanted my Baklava latte with oat or regular milk. I said oat, there was a $1 charge, wish this was mentioned. 3. Since they were new I thought I'd check the bag before leaving, and good thing I did because they forgot the Krazy sauce for the fish and chips and coleslaw. 4. Also fries were lacking for the fish and chips very small portion (as you can see in my picture). I had more fish than fries! So lots of things they need to work out, but place has potential! I really enjoyed the food.

I ordered their Cold Brew. It was okay. 2.5 out of 5

The service here was absolutely great. The conversation I had with one of the owners was a bit awkward. The vibe of the place was up beat and lively. Servers bring your food to you if you're dining in. It gets busy l, but I was given my food at a reasonable wait time. The food... They had nicely seasoned fries. The burger was of decent size for being two patties. It got a little messy to eat after each bite. I think the patties were a little overcooked, but that just might be how they're supposed to be? I don't know, but it's definitely worth given l giving them a try nonetheless. I would give this place another shot.

Kabo Kitchen is located near Santa Ana College and is the sister restaurant to Fresh Off the Boat. The have breakfast offerings, as well as bowls, plates, burgers, and various coffee drinks. The offer a mix of Mexican, Mediterranean and American fare. Medi-Stack Burger ($9.50) - This came with two stacked patties, krazy sauce, Jack cheese, fresh greens, tomatoes, and crunchy Persian pickles! Each patty must have been at least 1/4 lb, because this burger was filling! Everything tasted great, the only negative I have is that the burger can't be cooked medium rare and comes as it is, which is closer to well done. Chicken kabob salad ($10) - This came with a flavorful and juicy marinated kabob served atop some fresh greens. It was definitely reasonably priced. Baklava latte ($5 - large) - I got this iced and I felt the drink was a little too sweet for my liking so I would probably ask for it half sweet. I didn't taste much in the way of baklava here, but it wasn't bad. Overall I enjoyed the value proposition of the burger and the chicken kabob was fresh and tasted great.

My first time visiting when we wanted an easy dinner after the day. We went with the gyro plate, ground sirloin plate, baklava and a side of gyro. I liked the gyro, rice and pita. The hummus was a little salty for me. Overall, I enjoyed the meal between all of us and plan to be back. Service was great for takeout and the stare was attentive and brought my Togo over to where it was seated. I enjoyed the place and the proximity to our home near Riverview Golf Course.

We ordered take out for our company lunch meeting and I got the lamb gyro salad with added guacamole. The lamb was very flavorful and surprisingly very filling. It may be due to that it was takeout but the gyro felt tough and not very meaty. Still delicious though The hummus was amazing, they seemed to have added garlic straight into the hummus making it very flavorful and garlicky. Seasoned fries were also very savory. Overall would recommend and would want to try their bowls next time!

Opening week for this new Mediterranean Mexican fusion casual breakfast, lunch and dinner spot. It's right next to the Santa Ana College campus and it has a drive-thru. The Medi-Burger was amazing! And the chicken wrap was just as good! We got the rewards punch card and after trying every dish, you get a free meal! There's a couple that we were chatting with that mentioned they've been dining here every day since they opened. Yes it's that good! We will be back, and soon!

So colorful! Food has variety. Fountain drinks have added agua frescas. Didn't know what to order so they offered a sample of their chicken and I was sold! Staff was friendly. Food flavorful. Quick service. They have a drive through as well.

First time eating inside but my second time getting food here. Last time I got the gyro plate which was delicious! Good portions and lots of sauces. I also got a baklava latte which was amazing. Very rich tho so be warned. This time I got fish and chips and my partner did the gyro plate. The fish and chips were fried well, the breading is a bit dry but it's fish and chips so they give you tartar sauce and malt vinegar. The fries were seasoned very well and was a good portion. This time we also split a brownie and a baklava. The brownie was really fudgy and a big square (not gigantic but a nice size). The baklava was fine, a bit underwhelming, BUT we got here close to closing, I imagine they're better in the morning/early afternoon. As for service, everyone was super nice and helpful. They brought our food quickly and offered condiments and sauces, and brought napkins too. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! Today I tried the plate, it had rice, chicken and pita bread. Let's start with the chicken, it was mouthwatering, and delicious, it had a like flavorful hunt of lime in it, this has got to be better than most places. The rice was also superb, it was cooked perfectly with expertise. I added the garlic sauce they have and the Diablo Sauce, and yes it was spicy. The kind gentleman gave me a sample of a Mexican Mocha drink, it was also delicious. He mentioned it was spicy because they add the dia lo sauce to it as well. The vibe was also great, it was lunch hour and they had just about every table filled, overall I would strongly recommend this place.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. They were charging for parking so we paid $30 plus processing fee. Kevin the manager couldn't care less that we were here as customers not for the monster truck thing so they didn't give us a table and we had to sit at the bar. He initially said that there was a 30 min wait even though we could see empty tales. We had already paid so we had to stay to get the $30 discount on your bill when spending $30. He was not willing to refund since they were not technically the ones charging you. Once we sat at the bar, the bartender was nice and made us feel comfortable so we could enjoy our night. The place was crowded with families with kids, adults just overindulging and being very loud. The moment the event started time got closer, all of this crowd started leaving which allowed us to really enjoy our night. The food was great as always. The poke nachos are really tasty with a good balance of fish and nachos. The fish and chips is one of our go to dishes they are always perfectly cooked. Some of my favorite beers I tried in my flight were the Golden Stout, Wreck Alley (a stout), and Boat Shoes (a tropical IPA). One thing that shocked me about the restaurant setup was the lack of TVs. I am honestly conflicted which it angers me because of how I LOVE fish n chips but something of how I was served was just... plain! There was no flavor and even bits of the fried batter just falls off. The tartar sauce is really more of a lifeguard than a star, that it saves the fried fish of being just bad, it's not optional, IT'S REQUIRED. Now for the single jumbo shrimp... I saved it for last as the cherry on top, but even that fell short, the shrimp was too tough, as if overcooked, but I'll give benefit of the doubt as honestly frying shrimp while keeping the shrimp itself tender is a challenge on its own. The chips (french fries) are negligible, it's fried well... had to salt it but that is entirely up to the consumer preference (which cannot be the same for fried fish). Now in terms of pricing, it's fairly steep, but when you account for the fries and drink... or sorta evens out? They do give you above average sized fishes so you're not getting skimped out here. The person who took my order seemed very positive and really gave me the reassurance that the food is gonna be great! Which I give benefit of the doubt that maybe I just got the wrong batter. Their vendor is old school cabin looking, it's rather nice, I'm not a drinker but they seems to have a good variety of alcoholic beverages. Oh but speaking of beverages, they mention that their sodas are off brand, so the off taste is negligible for me. Overall, it's an okay spot to grab fried fish n chips but they could be better, I'll probably come back to see if I would have more clarity.

Like Gene, the serrano ahi poke bowl with wontons was the "go to" for every visit. Another fan favorite was the guac-poke with wontons. Well, wontons were removed from the menu altogether, and the serving size of the ahi is half of what it used to be. Not sure if this was a local decision or corporate decision, but it was a bad one! Second faux pas on the new menu is the removal of black beans with the taco plate. Now your options are fries or a salad. Who orders fries or salad with tacos? Black beans are so cheap. Even if you charge $1 for them, you're making money. Doesn't make sense to remove them. Oh, and the 3 taco plate is no longer an option. You can only get 2 tacos now. Third questionable decision ... eliminating the miso salad. The bartender told me that the house salad on the menu is the same as the miso salad. They mean the same thing. When the runner delivered what I thought was the miso salad, it looked different. So I asked her if this was the miso salad. She said no, that is no longer on the menu. So .... ya. Another big change for me was the removal of my favorite wine, the chenin blanc. The other whites are subpar IMO and not worth the drive over there ... especially with all these really poor menu changes. So now you know why I'm looking for a new happy place. If you know of any open air, fresh fish places, please DM me. Thanks! P.S. I went back and forth between giving 2 stars and 3 stars. The employees here are really exceptional. And I didn't think it was fair to give the whole restaurant 2 stars because their culinary executive is absolutely clueless.

The food is top notch, but honestly the ambiance is what sets it apart from your average billiards bar. It is extremely clean, which is important to me, and there's plenty of space between you and other people whether you are playing pool or sitting down to eat. It really does feel like a playground for adults in the best way. I also like that it is family friendly. There's large tables that are perfect for crab boils and similar meals where they lay down wax paper and everyone can sit together and enjoy. When I was there, there was a group of kids celebrating a birthday, and at the same time there were adults playing pool and hanging out. The place is so big that it almost feels like there's separate areas for kids and adults, but it is all in one space and you do not even notice each other. That's how spacious it is. I have been here on Sunday afternoons, Tuesday evenings, and Friday nights, and it is always busy with great energy. The music selection is great too. And this next part is insane to me since I'm a huge fan of famous pool players. The legendary GOAT Efren Reyes is going to be there on April 26th playing pool and interacting with fans. I saw the flyer on the wall and immediately grabbed VIP tickets. I'll be lucky enough to say hi to him up close from the VIP section and watch him work his magic in person, which is just unreal to me. Definitely check out the Wharf, you won't regret it.

The wharf is located in a cute little downtown (Main Street) we went when there was a car show…read moregoing on and that was pretty nice. The restaurant was relatively empty when we went so we were seated immediately. There was only one man running around taking everyone order, but he was nice and attentive. The restaurant is spacious, there are also many pool tables on another half of the restaurant and bar seating. Now, the real deal is food. I have pretty high standard for seafood boil, and this did not meet that standard at all. However, it's all up to preference. Cajun seafood boil (we got crawfish): very bland. You can barely taste the Cajun. I like the punch of the savoriness of Cajun but this has barely any coating on the crawfish. It's not juicy, it's not marinated. The crawfish meat is also pretty bad, tasted close to spoil for some. I understand it's not seafood season, but I've been to other seafood places that can maintain their seafood quality even during off season, this is just not one of the places. Crawfish Mac n cheese: very cheesy, duh. But that's really it to it, not much flavor profile. Just cheese, Mac, and crawfish. And back with the dead dry crawfish that made it off putting. The Mac n cheese itself is pretty decent though, but don't expect a flavor explosion when eating it. Think of it like a dish for kids. Sweet potato fries: jyst my go to sides with my crawfish. It tasted like any sweet potato fries, yay!
